Youngster looking after toddler whilst 2 women looked at phones. Quiet word from management to think about other diners would have not gone amiss.

I haven't been to Panama Hattys for quite a while but went last Friday with a friend. They have a 2 course deal which is a starter and a main for for £17.95 which is excellent value. The food is as delicious as ever, the portions are generous and my favourite Waitress served us. I saw on Facebook that one of the Waiters had died at the beginning of the year which was really sad because he was a lovely guy. Sadly he was a Conspiracy Theorist and didn't have the vaccines for Covid and it cost him his life at 50. Absolutely tragic. 💝

Hmmm, not been here for a while and mixed thoughts on a return. An enjoyable evening with L'il J, chatting and laughing and the sharing platter was reasonable enough. Salt and pepper chicken wings, barbecue ribs, potato skins, onion rings, tortilla chips, corn cobs and dips. Fish pie for me, with veggies. All a bit under seasoned and uninspiring. Steak and ale pie for L'il J, with chips and veggies. By all accounts this was equally uninspiring. There was nothing you'd complain about but nothing to rave about. Our server was faultless, chatty without being intrusive and couldn't apologise enough when he forced us to admit being underwhelmed. And why might I try it again? There are 65 gins behind the bar. Cheers!

Vegan review: No vegan items on the menu but can adapt fajitas to remove cheese and sour cream, there’s a vegetable option or a tofu option. There’s also a tofu starter. They brought complimentary nachos and salsa to start which were tasty. The service was great, lovely restaurant and food was ok but more vegan options needed! Would be better if they did vegan cheese too.

Only second time here in maybe 5 or 6 years and remembered the first time as being good, but this second time exceeded expectations. From the service to the food it was great... There were ten of us in a busy restaurant and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The food was delicious and generously portioned, and to be honest not extortionate. The staff are friendly and attentive but not in your face. I would recommend this place for special occasions, groups wanting something a bit different and couples wanting informal dining. Beer in frosted glasses is a nice touch.

Absolutely fantastic time last Saturday celebrating my husband's 60th birthday! The service and the food were outstanding! We all (16 + Max) thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Mums 75th birthday with a small group of friends and family. Chose PH as been a couple of times before and food was always good. First visit for all the others and they were impressed with the food, portion sizes and price. Only 1 not so impressed with the burger but it was eaten. Group age range 10 - 75 so something for everyone. Total bill for 7 with a few starters, 7 mains, couple of desserts and 2 drinks each £158. It's a relaxed atmosphere and not to big to be noisy. Only improvement is checking if more drinks are wanted.

We settled on the set lunch time menu this time & all of us loved it. Even on the set menu I think there would be something for everyone. Excellent food. All our plates were completely empty when they went back to the kitchen. I had the Sunday roast and it was amazing: really tender beef and plenty of it. Also, the apple and walnut salad starter, which I've had before, was delicious - I'd suggest this for a light lunch: there's quite a bit of it and it's really tasty. The service is always good and the ambience is very pleasant. Around £60 for the three of us with two of us - the gannets - having three courses and the ascetic having just a main. If you haven't been here, give it a try.

There’s also a bar area, if you don’t want to eat, which is great. What makes this place so great though, is the excellent staff. Very friendly and extremely helpful! Good food and great staff, only downside to this place is the parking, we parked on the carpark that was at the entrance, to later discover it was a maximum of 1 hour stay when we received a parking ticket through our door. There should be an option for diners to pay and stay longer than one hour. We were there 1 hour 31 mins according to our ticket.. We wasn't aware of this when we parked and entered the restaurant maybe the staff could make customers aware of this.

It was a celebratory dinner. Everything from the dressers to main course and dessert was perfection! We had the panama sampler.. loved it! The carribean chicken was amazing.. so many flavours.. and then the spicy chicken papousa was good since I was craving for enchiladas and this was something similar.. finally the toffee sauce on the waffle for the dessert was good and different from the usual chocolate sauce. Must visit!

First things first - the salt and peper chicken wings are to die for! There's something on the menu for everyone and you'll get serious food envy. It's a cosy and modern atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it got quite warm whilst we were there and it was slightly uncomfortable.
