We were passing through the area and popped in. The food is great quality and quantity for the price, this fish and scallops are delicious. We live by the coast so we have our fair share of Fish & Chip shops but this little gem beats any chippy I have been too by far! We have on the odd occasion made the excuse to travel the 50 miles to visit family and friends 🤫 just so we can have a chippy tea 🤭. We will definitely recommend to family and friends and anyone visiting the area.

I was served tonight by Bella she was a lovely lady , very friendly and chatty. The food was lovely and the portions was great. Drove home to Middleton and the food was still warm and my family enjoyed their chippy tea and even said it was the best chippy tea they had!! We will be back. Many thanks

i have to say they have the best chips ever and the fish is awsome oo and the scollops are to die for , every thing they have is well worth the money and always hot when diliverd. highly recommend them sadly they don't deliver they said they had no driver and fb they cannot afford a driver

My London accent combined with it being busy meant i messed up my order. the chef/owner couldnt have been nicer or more helpful, very very genuine and welcoming. the food is good value and delicious and the premises are immaculately clean and the counter staff very helpful and friendly. i would reccomend this place very highly

Stopped here on Monday 16/09. The shop itself was very clean and there was plenty of tasty looking food in the warmer. I was a bit strapped for cash and so only bought 2 lots of chips for me and the missus. We were served by a very pleasant young lady. We ate the chips in the car round the corner and they were hot and delicious. If I'm ever passing this way again I will be trying the fish for sure. I'm lucky to live close to the best chippy in Stockport, but this place is on a par.

Excellent Quality Popular English Chippy, a little more expensive then others in the area but then the fact its spotlessly clean and staff are friendly makes up for that. Cons: Closes around 8:30pm so no use after a few bevies like in the good old days 20 years ago..

After visiting relatives in Little Hulton I stopped for supper at Phillips, bought fish and chips and drove them five miles home. They were still hot enough to eat from the paper. Hot floury chips and wonderful creamy fish that fell away in clean white flakes. The batter had gone a bit soft (which was my fault for letting it steam in the paper for five miles). I ate every scrap and enjoyed every mouthful. Recommended.
