Absolutely the best chippy in tameside. The best fish and chips I've had in years 😋. I phoned in my order to pick up at six thirty. All wrapped and waiting for me. They even gave me some potato scallops. Served by 2 lovely and polite young ladies. I'll 100% be back for more. I highly recommend you try this chippy.

Great food. Proper English chippy that do a range of things you find in the general other chippys you will find around. Food is great quality, just may possibly be the smallest chip portion I've ever had from a chippy and also wish they would put frshky cooked things with batter on (fish bites for example) in a tray instead of a bag as the hit batter sticks to the bag when you try and open it! That's the only reason for a 4 star, but highly recommend this place on food quality

I literally found this place by chance as I was in the area on business. And what a find! Top notch traditional old-school chippy. Fish, chips and mushy peas was first-class. Good sized portions but more importantly top quality food cooked the old fashioned way. I live around 12 miles away but will definitely be returning. It really is that good!

What a find. Just had my first chippy tea from as am a truck driver. To be honest was one of the best tasting fish and chips iv had for ages. Not dry like some.. and the staff very friendly. From the Barnes truck driver.

Easy to place an order over the counter, then wait outside for it to be done. Proper fish and chip shop. Not been there for years due to not working in the office since Covid struck. Will be going again once things get back to normal.

Food was very nice ... highly recommend the rag pudding it was just something else 😋. Ladies behind the counter very friendly. Large menu choice aswell as chippy food they also do curry's and daily specials. Thankyou

From the lady who took my order to picking it up, the service was 1st class. I'm gluten free and I had the sausage, gravy and chips and the food was outstanding, best chippy I've ever had! Definitely recommend especially if gluten free and would definitely recommend ordering by phone before collection.
