The best sea bass I've had anywhere in the UK! The lemon and dill on it made for the perfect flavors. It was perfectly filleted and perfectly cooked. I'd get it 100 more times if I could. My girlfriend got the yemista which is basically stuffed peppers. She absolutely loved it. The drinks were great and most of the staff were very kind. Very fun environment while still managing to keep the romantic side intact.

The food was stellar and we can't wait to come again. We had Taramasalata, Hummus and Baked Feta all with hot pita bread and they were very tasty, fresh and filling. We completed the meal with a chicken kebab and feta baked beans. Again very fresh and tasty. For £10 per person for 2 courses, it's a bargain. We will definitely come again 🤩

The food was of reasonable quality and price. The biggest disappointment was the salad but I suspect that's not too much of an issue for most! Really you should come here for the dancing and the atmosphere which occasionally happens.

Oh.... my..... bloody..... God!!!! Me, my birthday girl misses and our two daughters have just had the most authentic, tasty, beautiful Greek food ever. It's like dining in a Greek Taverna in Crete, rather than on a main road in Manchester. The staff were extremely welcoming and Janni made my other halfs birthday meal there extra special. Thank you for having us, we spent a small fortune but it was soooo worth it. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. 🇬🇷 😊😋

Decent food, reasonably priced but nothing special. The service was slow and the waiter vaguely unpleasant. Astonishingly we had to pay in cash, with no explanation beyond some muttered response that we'd been informed of this beforehand (which we hadn't). We managed to find £80 from somewhere but we will never visit this restaurant again. This is the only negative review I've ever posted but the service was so poor I felt obliged to comment.

Food was lovely and nice location, however, the serving staff need to learn how to be less grumpy. We are students, don't have a tonne of money, but even so, we are paying money for their food, drink and service, so this should be appreciated enough to not suddenly get this bored and grumpy attitude as soon as we ask for the cheapest wine and turning down the £35 chef's special for something more reasonably priced.

Look no further for superlative Greek sit-in food in central Manchester. Welcoming and attentive service, carefully- and authentically-prepared dishes, and portion sizes that denote a rare and excellent value for money. The homemade chips, Athena pitta, and tzatziki are musts.

I like this place it is great. However on last visit the chef and his uniform looked rather grubby! It was off putting! He needs to look more hygienic! This is not to devalue the experience but help improve it!

Food was wonderful, probably for "less salt" lovers will be too salty, as for me and friends - was perfect. Portions are big, do not worry about leaving hungry. Tip for Razafa itself - those "heads down" Roses on tables better be freshened up or removed at all + be careful with the humour, some of them made us confused.

Enjoyable lunch in the sunshine ☀ delicious pita bread and tzatziki. Filo cheese and spinach pastries very nice as was kalamari and the chilled glass of house white wine. Perfect lunch for a days leave. Looking forward to the real Greek Islands in September in the meantime very happy to have found this Greek restaurant 😋

Rozaba has a menú of tradicional Greek food. Whilst waiting to order I changed my mind so many times. The pitta bread and dips were fantastic and the lamb skewers with either roast potatoes or Rice was beautiful, washed down with a good house Red.

Cracking place. Walked passed it hundreds of times but tonight I didn't. What a great place. Food was delicious and they had Fix beer to Fix my Fix. Came across this restaurant purely by chance when walking past. We love Greek food so had to give a go. We received a warm welcome from the owner. He was very attentive and stopped by our table to have a chat. We had a feta cheese starter to share. My wife then ordered Mousakka, I ordered Pastichio (Greek-style lasagne) and quite simply the food was absolutely fantastic. Couldn't fault it at all, there was so much of it and so much flavour. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience there, and I can assure you we will definitely be going back again. 👍👍

We stumbled across this Greek oasis whilst looking for somewhere to eat. It felt just like being on holiday. Service was excellent, with friendly waiters who took time to chat to everyone while still ensuring fast and efficient service. We opted for a meat meze feast. The starters were a meal in themselves. With a great choice of delicious dips and bread. The main was even better. We were so stuffed that we took a doggy bag. Only 3 stars due to a variety of issues regarding the cleaning quality overall (including the cutlery). Another issue in my opinion is the manager which had an extreamly snoby behaiveour (<<avoiding eye contact and specific proffesional behaiveour such as basic hospitable communications!). From the culinary perspective again, it is only DECENT/ADEQVATE, with reference to greek cusine (a huge, full of variety and tasty) unfortunatley the specific "Rozafa" does NOT outsnand or rises to the expectations mentioned above. Aditionally, a HUGE MISTAKE refering the most traditional greek dish was a shame as the amount of the garlic added absolutley tuked over the whole taste (please differentiate the garlic sauce taste with the tzatiky), there was NO MINT and no cucumber in, as this it constitues the highest shaming aspect, regarding the restaurant. The other dishes where decent only, and the other staff excluding the "manager" was friendly and positive offering a decent dining experience.

This restaurant offers an amazing eating experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our every request. The food was reminiscent of home, and the atmosphere is definitely something to write home about. We enjoyed the live music played by a bouzouki player. The 10% service charge is reasonable and well-worth the money for the services they provide. All in all, Rozafa made a special night even more memorable, and I am planning on booking again for special occasions.

The food was outstanding and the portions huge. Even with my other half having a ferocious appetite, the portion was so large we took the rest home with us as takeaway. Dinner sorted for the following day! The staff were very accomodating, but service was a little slow. The décor put me off slightly as I found it a little outdated, but food made up for anything lacking in the design department. The toilets are smallish and down a flight of stairs, so a little awkward. Would definitely go back.

The food was absolutely excellent! Simple, fresh, super tasty food. It's also a decent choice if you're looking for a healthier meal. I had skewers with salad and an amazing Tzatziki dip on the side. It was incredible. The dip was super garlicky. We went for the early door menu so it was very good value for the 2 of us. 2 starters, 2 well sized, well cooked mains, a side and a large bottle of sparkling water was about £36. I would definitely go again!

Second time I've been here and the food was fabulous. We didn't have starters but for mains I had the meatballs with rice and my girlfriend got the chicken kebabs with rice. We tried a bit of each others and both were absolutely amazing! Staff were really good and attentive as well. There's a mandatory 10% service charge added on which is a bit cheeky BUT I would have left a tip for that amount anyway as it was so good.

WOW!!! AMAZING FOOD!!!! Good offer till 6.30pm as well . The dips n bread was splendid. The salad was lovely, the chicken and pork slouvakis were amazing. The spicy lamb kebabs were the best!!! The rice was absolutely fantastic!!!! The meatballs were amazing. And the chips were the nicest chips I have ever had...home made and so tasty!! All washed down with a lovely Mythos beer. Absolutely loved this place! The entrance seemed quite dodgy but I am so glad we gave it a try. The front of house guy/waiter was incredible, very funny and witty at the same time giving us some Greek culture lessons. Food was fresh and very tasty. We ordered appetizers, starter and main courses, but it was a bit too much food for me. The only downside was waiting times but just because we were in a rush a bit. However this did not spoil our experience and we will be definitely coming back.

Visited here for the first time last week. I've lived in Manchester for years and have always walked past it. Appearances may certainly deceive you in this case because the food is honestly amazing. The service from the staff is also great. They are all really friendly and want to make sure you're having a good time. I'd recommend going for a mix of things and sharing, as the menu has a big selection of food and all of them I tried were amazing, Particularly the lamb chops. Price is decent, not too expensive at all.

This is such a great place to go for food! We went on a very busy Saturday night, were welcomed with a smile and a joke and squeezed in (well... they laid a table for us which was nice) downstairs with the live music. Which, in turn, was then accompanied by waiters and customers doing various Greek dances all around the room! Such fun!

The staff were lovely and even understood my very basic attempts at Greek! The calimari was gorgeous, not chewy at all, just as we'd expect in Greece. I had the kleftiko which melted in my mouth, hubby had mixed souvlaki which he loved and couldn't finish his chips! Nice Greek music on but not too loud. Very friendly atmosphere and not rushing us to leave. A little expensive for where we'd normally go but we would go back without a doubt. Spot on!

I had a lovely experience at Rozaffa, the servers were very polite and the atmosphere was also quite enjoyable with the love music that was played it felt like It was a proper greek restaurant and not just by name only. The food was brilliant and the vegetarian starter platter was also excellent, I particularly liked the tabbouleh as it reminded me of how they made it back home, we had Souvlaki and lamb chops and both of these were also cooked to perfection. I would recommend this as a place to go for on a date, and if you are lucky enough to go to the lower level you'll lose cell service quickly and it makes a date better when noone is constantly looking at their phone.

The restaurant is kept in greek style, not posh. I recommend it if you don't have high expectations and food is what matters.

Had a delicious dinner last night at Rozafa in Manchester @rozafa_greek_restaurant with friendly staff that were able to help me out in picking a Gluten Free dinner 👍 7/10 for starters we had tzatziki and melinzana, which I had served with cucumber slices. The waiter understood that I could not eat pitta bread, and eventually agreed that they could serve something else with the dips. For main, I chose their Kotopoulo Zesto which was a chicken breast marinated in spices and Greek yoghurt and was incredibly tasty. Highly recommended! However we had issues with incredibly slow service and the bill which had the wrong prices and extra charges that the waiter struggled to remove from the bill 🤦‍♂️🇬🇷

Had dinner here with a friend on their early bird dinner menu. Service was friendly, but a little inattentive (forgot a drink order for 15-20 minutes). In addition, the wine my friend ordered was undrinkable. I ordered the dolma for an app and the lamb shoulder for the main. The lamb had a great flavor and was very tender, falling off the bone. Portion size was satisfying and even the side salad was good. After the main, they never returned to ask if we wanted dessert or anything else (which we did). Instead of ordering anything else, we got the check and left. Despite solid flavors, the service made me not want to return.

A friend and I were walking past and saw the sign advertising a special offer before 6:30pm. We decided to go in to take advantage of it. It was about 6:23pm and the waiter made it sound like we missed out on the offer because "it has to be ordered before 6:30pm!" I asked for the menu promptly and we made sure we ordered in time. Starters were on the table within 5-10 min and were good. My boyfriend popped in to join us for a drink and left some pound coins on the table to cover his drink. I found it very odd that this other waiter, without hesitating, just helped himself to the money, even though we've not even had our mains yet - who tips that early on? It was weirdly presumptuous and I had to ask for it back. There there was a mix up with the mains, as my friend ordered a vegetarian moussaka and I ordered a regular moussaka - and a few minutes in I realised there was no meat in mine. I called the first waiter over and enquired if that was also vegetarian. He insisted that I ordered a vegetarian moussaka, which I most definitely didn't (as confirmed by my friend), and he had the cheek to tell me to order correctly next time. "What do you want me to do??" "It would be great if I could have a regular moussaka, please." "It will be 20+ minutes" "That's fine". It actually came in less than 10 min and I'm sure he just said that to put me off changing it. The food was actually pretty good, though. Another friend joined us later and the "tip" waiter was very pushy for her to place her order quickly by indicating that he was going to take the menu off her hand. She had just arrived and was catching up a bit before properly looking at the menu, and he didn't even smile while doing that, so again, odd. The other waiter came back to take her order and passive aggressively asked if she definitely didn't want the vegetarian option - which was unnecessary. She seemed happy with her main, but was surprised that the creme brulee she had for dessert had peach chunks inside. The waiter smugly said that's how they're done in "Italy" - which made us laugh, especially as one of my friends is French. In summary, the food was decent, but the attitude of the staff was pretty unbelievable.

Rozafa is mine and my partners favourite place to dine in Manchester. There are hundreds of restaurants to chose from, but if you want something tasty, authentic and just a real good vibe then you've got to try Rozafa. We love nothing more than spending the afternoon here surrounded by friendly staff, delicious smelling food and a holiday feel. It's simple, great prices and of course so tasty, you can't go wrong! I always order the falafel with rice, and it's the best version of the dish I've eaten - so full of flavour! 10/10 would recommend for a laid back authentic Greek meal!

My partner and I went mid week. We each had a starter of spice sausage and ribs followed by oven baked lamb. The food was fantastic. Drinks however very overpriced with all soft drinks being £2.50 for 150ml. Lots have made comments about this. Even tap water with a shot of lime is charged at £2.50. Another thing, watch out for the small plate of olives that are placed on the table as soon as you sit down. You'll find a £2 change on your bill for these whether you eat them or not. Also stay away from the Greek coffee as it's like sludge with lots of coffee grit or the sludge at the bottom of a cafetiara. I did complain and suggested that we should not be changed the £5 for the two coffees as we couldn't drink them, but the waiter didn't care and still charged for them. Our drinks bill of 4 soda waters and 2 Greek coffees £15. It's a pity as the food was really fantastic. and I would have given 5 stars but for the drink / coffee saga.
