Amazing experience . This place doesn't do great food only but they also make sure the ambiance is extraordinary and service is brilliant. Food was beautiful with huge selection of drinks to choose from Had interacted with few staff and they had made sure the dinning experience converts into perfect memory. Two of staff members who I feel obligated to say thanks to were shawon and Amin ,they were really humble and caring and had made sure every of my small desire gets addressed to . Thanks Amin and shawon ,you have made me your life time customer . Would highly recommend

Excellent tasting curry, I had the chicken kharai, pilau rice and garlic naan. Free parking behind restaurant(if you get a space). Entrance door is via side of restaurant not from main road. Nice decor. Good drinks selection inc cocktails, only one lager on tap though - cobra. Slightly above average price but not over the top. Best to book at busier times.

Very large place and as we arrived so did maybe 100 more clients. And then more arrived after we did No joke, so I was optimistic but let me tell you, I been searching for 25 years since a old guy made me Karahi curry which was amazing but never have I found the quality until my visit here. All our party was overwelmed from flavours from our food. Lady I presume owner found time to visit all tables with a smile as was the case with us. The staff was all cheerful and 1 chap being a 27 year veteran was great with customers. We waited for food but not very long and was suprised how quick it came because the volume of folk We was not in a rush and had time to kill so overall our visit was fantastic. We ate at this restaurant two nights in a row. We liked it from the first evening, chose the classic chicken tikka and vegetable samosa, and decided to go again but try something different. We left ourselves in the hands of the waiter who recognized us from the evening before. That was a really good choice. The food is really tasty and the flavors are amazing. One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been. The staff is very kind and friendly. Bad thing I am not living in Manchester otherwise I would go there at least once every week.

There is a good selection of meals to choose from all of which seem to be a good choice. We enjoyed a selection of starters and mains which were all delicious. The staff were very friendly and the decor is nice. Good value for money. Would recommend and eat there again.

Absolutely amazing!!!! Great food and service. We got in just has the restaurant was about to close. They very kindly offered to seat us and we are sure glad they did. The food was so good! Unless you have visited yourself, you will not believe what mysterious world hides behind Didsbury's eye. Beautifully decorated, staff is extremely helpful & friendly; I cannot fault this place at all! All menus are well organized and easy to read which goes along with the overall relaxing mood of the restaurant. Sangam's decoration is very well put together with authentic ornaments and wall designs. Above all, this restaurant has a very well thought out seating plan which allows you to have a private conversation even during busy hours.

Top notch food and excellent customer service. I've been a few times over the years, but this was the first visit for a while. They've really done the place up, it looks fantastic and has a great feel to it. As always customer service is attentive and just right. I can recommend the mixed grill starter and the lamb jalfrezi main. Both were excellent. They even gave us a free round of drinks thinking we'd been waiting a while between the starter and the mains. We didn't think we'd been waiting long though.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Curry is always my first choice so I’m always looking to try somewhere new. Me and my partner ate here and the curry is one of the nicest I’ve ever eaten. I had the lamb jalali and although it is SUPER spicy, it was packed with flavour. The service was great, everyone so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The restaurant itself is also beautiful! Cant wait to eat in here again, but in the meantime I’ve just placed an order for takeout 😋 the new regular and I love it!

We hired the private dining room for our anniversary. The food was amazing...all our guests loved it! And the staff were lovely and so friendly too. We went the other night for my brothers 30th birthday. Found the staff to be friendly and attentive without being disruptive to enjoying the food and meal. The service was also quick but not rushed. We had a seafood platter to share to begin with, and for £19 the portion was ridiculously small. Mains came out with small portions, tepid warm but good enough tasting. Not worth the £70 we paid. Will give another go, but not rushing back.

I've been here a few times and the food is consistently good. Their measurements to flavour are very accurate and will guarantee you to have a good curry. The starter, curry and nan breads are all spot on. I however wish they would increase their rice portions as I prefer rice over nan most of the times. It may be the best Indian restaurant I have ever visited. The atmosphere is fantastic: it feels authentic and classy. The food was delicious and served in the perfect portion size. My self and a group of 4 friends visited Sangam on Wednesday having traveled all he way from Bradford and Leeds. The dining experience was one of the best we have collectively experienced. The quality of the food was simply sublime, with all the courses cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The service provided by Shaheen and his colleagues was absolutely first class, and we felt like true guests, not simply customers. Mr Saleem was also amazing and took time out to speak to us and make sure we were totally at home. Dishes were also recommended which were a delight for all. There was plenty of social distancing, masks, sanitisers etc to ensure covid- compliance. All in all, this was a true fine dining experience, and having eaten at hundreds of restaurants, one of the best we have found in the Country. 10/10 on all fronts. Well done and thank you!

I went here with my boyfriend, we were impressed by the quality of the food. We got a fish and some lamb, the portions are generous and the dishes extremely flavourful!! As soon as you go in there is a sudden extremely pleasant indian smell and the atmosphere is cozy and lively. Not too loud nor too quite! We really enjoyed the evening!! The prices are fantastic ! I have been meaning to leave a review here for a while to explain how AMAZING this place is! My husband and I absolutely love Sangam didsbury, it is our regular because we know we will get beautiful, tasty and flavoursome food everytime. They are consistently fabulous and this review is no less than they deserve. The chef is undisputed here, the waiters are very attentive, considerate and professional, the ambience is so authentic, it is perfect for a special occasion or generally just to treat yourself. I can easily say, it is THE best Indian in Greater Manchester. We have tried them all. Well done, no doubt we will see you again soon.

Fantastic food and service sums up this place. The team greet you like an old friend when you arrive and know the menu inside out and go into detail to recommend the dishes based on your preferences. The menu is full of the usual curry house dishes but you'd be silly not to try one of the unique dishes. In particular the Lal Maas which is probably the nicest curry I have ever had. The Lamb Rezala and the Spinach Dilruba are also excellent.

Great Curry house. No need to book, they can always fit us in, even on a Saturday night. They are also really good with big groups. The restaurant is clean and the staff are attentive. An ignominious side-entrance, off the Didsbury "strip" of chiefly franchised eateries, reveals an industrial stairwell suffused with the smell of reesty Frytol™. The restaurant's main space is Manhattan loft apartment meets The Lighting Emporium®, with an eclectic mix of styles, and scores of divers tables shoe-horned into every nook and cranny. The ancillary hardware was decent enough quality; the glassware was sparkling, and the Dacron™ napiery spotlessly white. Nice. The food is rather good too, although the bone-in lamb was more towards "overcooked and stringy" than "meltingly tender", the keema naan slightly bereft of kimya - and the tarka daal of salt. I had to request a salt cellar to make good the latter shortfall and toothpicks for the former quibble at meal's end. The waiters were also somewhat tricky to prompt, often foolishly clumping together rather than working the large room, but friendly and attentive when buttonholed. The prices were approximately as high as they could get away with locally, which is on the high side for the North West. The "atmosphere" was buzzing, with a surprisingly good turnout for a Sunday evening: a largely middle-aged, affluent white British clientèle. There must have been around seventy-five such cheerful locals when we arrived, thankfully few of whom were the hooting and cackling types. Half a dozen young British born chaps, whose antecedents preferred chapatis, lifted the thinning throng on our departure around 9pm. The popularity of this place, together with a good choice of competently prepared Bengal-ish cuisine, and a refreshingly authentic and quirky eclecticism (by definition absent from the aforementioned chains which now infest Didsbury) make this a very good choice for a nice informal cuzzah of an evening in M20. It is NOT the best curry house in the UK - and happily doesn't claim to be - but you'll not likely be disappointed. Take a bell (or a powerful flashgun perhaps) to attract the waiters' attentions as a top tip here: my only real quarm.

We come here every year on Christmas eve as me and my partner are both and we only come here to visit family and we are both from London otherwise we would have come here more often. The food burst with flavours and very tasty indeed. We ordered for starters mixed veg grill, mixed meat grill grilled salmon and lamb chops. For mains we ordered chicken biryani, lamb, MURGH TIKKA LABABDAR, butter chicken, butter king prawns and mixed grill mains with Naan bread and roti. I gave it a 5 star purely because the service was great, the staff was brilliant, I don't really eat spicy but I asked for very mild for MURGH Tikka LABABDAR and it was very well made. However I felt the papadoms wasn't fresh enough and not used to having them already been broken up into little pieces esp they cost £1.50 pp. I'm used to having them as a whole. The roti was made differently to what I am used to (much thinner like pancakes) but this was made similar to Naan bread. If they improve this then I have no complaints but to recommend people to give this place a go.
