Hands down the best fish and chip shop in Manchester!! Good prices, friendly staff and food is excellent!! Cod with chips was freshly fried, tasted fantastic and plentiful. Batter was crispy, salt on point. The mushy peas were tasty and well seasoned. Awesome place!! Definitely worth it and will come back for sure 👍

I found this place last night whilst on a bike ride with my children. The food was great , they usually have something to moan about but no all happy! Particularly loved the salt and pepper chips! Prices are good too and the service friendly and quick.

I’ve never had such good fish and chips before, the flakes of fish are huge, buttery and so fresh. Really delicious and tasty

Parking outside may be a problem at busy times (Friday tea-times for example) but is well worth it. Chips excellently cut (not too thin) and excellently cooked. One of the best chippies in the area. If parking is a problem immediately outside, there are no parking restrictions, so just park 50 yards away and walk. EDIT: have now visited this chippy on several occasions. Never any scraps and chips always well cut and well cooked. Still one of the best chippies in the area and well worth a visit

Had fish, chips, peas in a tray. Positive - fish was cooked to order. Negative - peas put on top of chips in the tray. It was a bit of a mushy mess when I got home. I recommend asking for the peas separate. Positive - everything tasted good. I recommend this meal. Beware they only except cash in the shop. I understand you can make phone orders.

This place is brilliant for chippy. The fish and chips from here are absolutely amazing and can’t fault the food. The only drawback is they don’t accept card payments or accept any payment other than cash. Otherwise great place to go !

Food is the best in the area, from the Chinese to the English dishes all of them are of a high standard. Speed of service is fast even if there is a queue. Recommend phoning your order through before going as at the moment the queues are long.thst says it all for how good it is.
