Went with family. Overall, much better than anticipated and improved since visit a few years back. Family all liked their dishes - burgers and sharing starter platter (this was the best dish, taste and value wise). The parmos were actually OK even though I'm not a huge fan of that dish in any place. Service was fab and friendly. One star knocked down due to high price point in relation to products.

The experience and food was lovely, just the service was super slow and we ignored a few times until we personally had to go up to tell them what we wanted. But the desserts are lovely, smaller portion size than to what we get in London but I thought that was just right. I really liked the graffiti art of Charlie and the Chocolate factory. I might be over thinking this, maybe it's the teacher in me talking here I just didn't understand the whole concept of how it was supposed to be an on take of an American Diner yet the deco was based on a British childrens book, sorry. We also went for shisha here, they have a back area for this. Though our smoke was good, my friend and I did not enjoy the poor customer service in their either. Again we had to ask for change of coals, not once did he approach us and asked if we are okay. Overall the smoke was good and the interior decor was really nice.

Food was excellent,really nice atmosphere and interior. Staff hopeless though. I told them I'll order dessert after we finished mains, guy didn't bother telling me they stop serving desserts at 10.30, we ordered at 9.45 so obvious we needed to know that. He kept disappearing when we need yo ask for something took ages to get our drinks. Food was excellent though, especially the chicken Nachos, burger again really nice. Fries were average milkshake was spot on. Disappointingly had no cheesecake I wanted to try the cheesecake milkshake. Still annoyed didn't get yo sample the desserts but will be back to try next time, will need to remember the 10.30 cut off time. May increase to 5 star then if service has improved.

We went on Saturday it was jam packed and 45 min wait finally we got the table but unfortunately it was just next to exit door and it was freezing so we just kept closing the door all the time. Finally food came we ordered kashmiri bun, bombay and kids burger meal. Food was tasty really enjoyed it.

Decent place, been here a few times, and I try a few new things every time I come. Burgers are really nice as are the wedges. Had nachos this time that weren’t that great but the fully loaded fries were good but certainly not the best I’ve had. Would come back to try the desserts because I always say I’ll try but I always order too much to start.

The Burgers here are nice, but not the best burgers around, the burger patties are more dry and crumbly than other places. Service is very good. The slush was nice and you get a lot of it! On my previous visit I did get the milkshake Straight Out Of Denton, that was one of the best milkshakes I had. I feel the burgers here are more Instagram pics than taste. Overall would recommend, give a try :)

Had the lotus biscoff milkshake , lotus and salted caramel cheesecake and the lovely monthly special naga chicken burger . A lovely double chicken Pattie fried with some lovely naga sauce and mint chutney amongst other sauces . This was definitely a stand out of the day visit to manchester . Will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends . The service was amazing and the food was top notch . Sweet diner gets a massive 5 out of 5 from me :)

We ordered food for collection last Saturday evening for 4 people, the food was ready within 20 minutes which was excellent. The food was amazing and all 4 of us really enjoyed our burgers which were all different. We have had food from here on a few different occasions both eating in and collection and everytime the food has been really nice. We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend!

The burger was quite scenographic and with lot of food in it. They have a variety of burgers and options but, unfortunately, they are not served with fries. You also need to pay for sauces, which is always a negative point for me. Drinks are a bit pricey and despite I have generally enjoyed the food, the meat’s quality wasn’t superb. It’s definitely a place to visit, but not the best burger in town.

This was the 3rd time we have been the food was very good had the nutty chicken burger and loaded fries was going to have a dessert but had no more room took some of my burger home you get your money's worth very tasty. The only thing I would say is they keep changing there menu it's good but if youŕ going back because you enjoyed what you had last time it can be a bit disappointing.

Great restaurant, with loads of great food choices and desserts! I love coming here when I head up north and couple honestly stay for ages trying everything. They also have a shisha area out back, which was lovely to sit in and chill out. Parking can be an issue with where it's located, but I can't say I've had too much issue. Last time I visited, I had a massive chicken burger with peanut butter and sweet chillie, which sounds strange but was lovely. I'd definitely recommend a visit.

Great service and good food. The Naga burger was a bit too spicy but nice for those that don't mind the sting!! The "Leaning Tower of Geeza" was really nice, although I would have preferred the egg yolk to be slightly runny. Will definitely be back again.

Quaint and unique restaurant, with it's own little culture. Food was really good (though maybe not the best in Manchester). They have a challenger meal which I would encourage everyone to try as the challenge doesn't seem that big (although my party only had it socially - didn't actively try the challenge). Service was friendly but not the quickest. Decent prices and all halal. Try the lollipops!

Milkshakes are the best about ordered from here on many occasion and only ever had a bad one once. Only reason for giving 4 rather than 5 is that the one time I did have a problem I rang to complain and the lad that answered was rude and unhelpful. Just discovered this restaurant, even though they been open since 2015. Seems like they only have burgers as the main choice of food with the main focus on desserts. We were greeted by a friendly assistant, and were informed of a 1 hour waiting time (even though restaurant looked hardly busy and could see lots of empty tables). Having accepted, we were asked to wait in our car (Covid Times). However after only about 3 minutes, we were called as a table was available. Although this was good, initially being told a 1hr wait, we could’ve easily declined and left. We ordered the Sloppy Joe Burger, French Fries and Curly Fries with Cheese. The burger is a Steakhouse 6oz cheeseburger, with caramelised onions, spicy minced keema, fries, jalapeños, mozzarella & nacho cheese, onion rings, lettuce & burger sauce. The burger was amazing! Dripping with cheese and mince meat. The Burgers doesn’t come with fries so had to order separately. The curly fries are very nice and comes as a generous portion. They have a cute small prayer shed outside, and a shisha area. Interior decor is nice. Place is reasonably clean. No car park, but easy to find on street parking nearby. Overall, great vibes and atmosphere, friendly staff and most importantly the food was amazing. Burgers are bit pricier than your average given they don’t come with chips, but are bursting with flavours. Restaurant is not HMC approved, but claimed they’re suppliers are HMC. Rating: 9/10.

Sweet diner is a nice spacious restaurant. It has a good range on the menu and an amazing range of desserts. The service can be slow at times and the food especially steaks aren't always cooked as asked.

Nice selection of starters and burgers with a shisha garden aswell, decor is nice. On the Instagram page I saw pics of pancakes but when I asked in store they don’t have pancakes but have crepes. Food and atmosphere was nice and the blue lemonade drink is delicious, mocktails, daiquiri and desi tea is delicious.

Want to dine and then have something sweet (because who doesn’t), off to Sweet Diner you go You can tell that thought has gone into this funky American diner setup, and you know you’re going to get something sweet to eat before you leave. This is because of the constant messaging and sweet displays that make your mouth water. It’s a quite a busy place (even on a Thursday evening), so it’s definitely worthwhile ringing to check how busy they are. Our tummies were overfilled with; •Lamb Chop Board - 5 lamb chops with veg, raita and seasoned skin-on fries to complement. This was marinated in a good sauce that would be perfect for a barbeque. We did wonder what the raita was there for but dipping the veg in this made us realise. The fries were pure yum with the right amount of salt and we caned these in no time •Burger of the Month, Cheesy Chicken Cheetos - We were wondering why this sounded familiar and remembered the pink Cheetos burger we enjoyed at Dubai food festival. This delivered just as well with a mellow taste and a mini spicy kick as an aftertaste. •Sir Mix-A-Lot - We’re always in need of potatoes, and in whatever form. So, this helped provide a combination of normal fries, curly fries and sweet potato fries. Though, the skin-on fries was the one for us because of its freshness. And the sweetness was Reese’s peanut butter cookie dough topped with a lot of Nutella and ice cream. So, the menu has each of the peanut butter and the Nutella as separate options but as we were sharing and prefer the different flavours, this was the perfect compromise. It was pure sweet goodness. There are quite a few options, sweet and savoury, that we are going back here for! Recommendation Rating: High Price: ££ Service: 9/10 Halal: Full menu

Had a great meal here, food was nice staff were friendly. They have outdoor sheesha which is comfortable and surprisingly warm even in winter, the outdoor heaters are great. They have Russian sheesha pipes which make the sheesha 100x better. Highly recommended. You can just park in morrisons car park next door for upto 3hours which is a plus.

Quite pricey but good quality food. Service can be a bit hit and miss depending on who you get, the girls are quite good but the Asian lads are bit slow. Never had a problem with any of my food, always been delicious. One of my regular place Still can't believe they started charging 40p for the lollipop - that used to be one of the unique features of the place when it was free!

Tried sweet diner for the first time yesterday . First thing I would like to say is that the staff were absolutely brilliant , they were punctual and polite . As well as this the food was brought out at iftaar time which was greatly appreciated as they had delivered on the their timing. However , the problem was with the food itself whilst it came out hot the food was not anything special. I got one of the Naga burgers which flavour wise wasn't bad , but could have been a lot better the chicken could have a been a bit more moist. The burger really wasn't filling at all and the chips tasted like they had been fried in oil days old. What was worse was my friends burger , he got the nutty burger and upon trying he said the chicken tasted awful and was absolutely dry he didn't even finish it and he had the same problem with his chips as well. The price of the burgers are not worth it mine was like £12 and did not even fill me up , absolute rip off as I left the place still starving. Don't think I'll be coming back here ever again.

Great ambiance and aesthetics to go along with it, everything was served in it's own individually designed dish. As for pricing it was fairly price however a bit high for what you get, staff are very nice and service only took around ten minutes to arrive, overall very positive experience.

One of the coolest diner places. Burgers shakes, sweets. All Halal. The "Nutty" burger is soo good! Interior is nice because it isn't too cramped. They even have a pool table upstairs and outdoor seating! Been a couple of times! I wish they had some deals on now and again so I can invite other friends to try it out!

The atmosphere and service at Sweet Diner is excellent and generally the food is too. I would personally recommend the Peanut Satay Chicken Burger or the That's Dinner Sorted platter. However, I would not recommend the fish and chips. The fish tastes rather cheap and is really not at all enjoyable, when I asked them they said it was Panga fish, a cheap variety that comes mainly from Vietnam. The fact that the fish is that is like that is a shame as it ruined an otherwise excellent experience

Visited Friday 8/4/22 for Iftar . Was impressed with the service. Steph in particular was managing well and I could see her directing the staff. We were well looked after , team was efficient , food came quickly especially considering the time and how busy it was. The order was correct and we all had personalised our burgers , adding and removing certain items. It hasn’t always been this way but this time it was impressive and professional . Fantastic food. All the chicken wing starters tasted different and perfectly done and the petzel pizza was very good size too. The soft drinks are really nice, suprisingly the strawberry coke was just as if it was officially made by Coke themselves and was better than Cherry coke etc. Steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavour, the mushroom sauce was amazing together with good helping of veg. Only downer was the service was inconsistent and waiting time for table (quoted half an hour wait was over 1 hr) was not good.

They do great burgers and if you are feeling really hungry try the 'Morning After' as a side dish. You won't regret it. My kids love their milkshakes and there are so many choices. Would highly recommend. If you are visiting in winter Wear a jumper as it can get a little cold in the restaurant if you are near the door.

A great place to visit. Not many places iv been too offer both great food and desserts. A must try is their famous burgers and sweet freak shakes. One of the only places in Manchester which have halal chicken and waffles which is a great combinagion. Also go grab a mocktail and go upstairs to play some Fifa 17 or some pool or even just relax in their hand made beautifully constructed lounge with some friends.

Just okay - burgers just okay , I had a gourmet cheeseburger but I absolutely hate soggy bottoms and this had almost disintegrated that I had to use a knife and fork, Ice cream sundae was massive - it was good but I ended up leaving loads.

One of the best burger joints in Manchester. Its a spit I normally take friends and family when they come to visit me in Manchester from out of town. The burgers are a bit crazy but if you like a funky burger, thus us the spot for you. Absolutely love the food. The kitchen staff are great and quick at getting food out. The front end staff are inexperienced and usually scarce. The main gripe about Sweet Diner is their extremely uncomfortable wooden seating booths. Gives me back pain all the time but I keep coming back because the food is so delicious.

really nice place and friendly staff, bit confusing decor wise as nice and bright and welcoming but has 7 large screen tvs playing football? bit strange when you have come to eat out. kids meals well over priced however good quality but £7 for a 6pieces of popcorn chicken and chips and £5 for 4 mozzarella sticks? but the adults meals are good value and large portions also really nice. milkshakes amazing and waffles really good. I would recommend coming here for desserts but prices are too high for the kids meals. I would return for desserts though 100%.

Wow 😮 delicious food and service is wonderful! The spicy 🌶 burger which had naga in it was to die for!! Will be returning for more and the portion size is huge. However, I did have a crepe and it wasn’t as good as the food, the crepe was a little hard and quite small for the price. We went for a birthday meal. Staff were polite and helpful. Could not order Mocktails as the ice machine wasn’t working. Food was good, my Kashmiri Zing burger was nice. One downside was that some of the burgers did not come with fries, so had to order extra fries. The fries come with basil on top. Think they should ask the customer if they want this or not as I thought it didn’t work well with the fries. The prices however are extortionate. We paid over £250 for 12 burgers drinks and 3 fries. This place is mediocre, I wouldn’t miss it if I never went back to it.

It was my first time trying their milkshakes and let me just say, it was DELICIOUS! I ordered the Mocha Mud milkshake and the flavor was bursting inside my mouth. I enjoyed every sip of it!! Great waiting lounge and decor, with things for the kids to keep them occupied such as PS4 and a pool table. Nice selection of food and drinks for all to enjoy. Although my steak wasn't cooked to my liking. You can't book a table in advance unless you have a large group. We arrived at 7pm and it was very busy. Luckily the kids were kept occupied in the waiting lounge. However 15 minutes wait turned in 35 minutes! So be prepared to wait if you're not there early.

By far one of the best restaurants ive visted in the UK great customer service by the team. Greeted and welcomed instantly no waiting around. Eating environment was very clean and has a nice decorated theme, great for friends, couples and families. In terms of the menu you are spoilt for choice i would recommend the sliders if you cant decide what you want. The chips selection has more than your typical restaurant.. waiting time was very impressive especially during peak time friday night cutlery was clean even has a open viewable kitchen so you can see the chefs working hard and also to point out very clean tidy and organised. When it comes to food this place has really done its homework, burgers were on point chips and cheese ratio was on point and the sliders i could eat all day well cooked meats good suprise combo. Overall great experience highly recommend just be mindful parking could be an issue but other than that an overall great experience thanks to our waiter Sabir and the team keep up the good work!

Will try full menu one day which, if i can remember, was not overly priced. But for a spontaneous stop sweet diner is a sweet choice.
