Always great food and good service. Reasonable prices. We go especially for the early bird menu £9.99 for 3 courses served between 5 and 7pm. Car park is small but can usually find a space close by.

Tao's Restaurant Prestwich, Manchester, offers great tasting food with good sized portions! Reasonable prices with a dish to suit everyone's needs. Service when ordering through Deliveroo was very informative from beginning to end. On arrival, food was nice & warm, also very fresh. Would definitely order from Tao's Restaurant again.

The meal was great however I felt the waitresses were very abrupt. They were good at moving our table but she virtually thew our meals at us I was in a group and we each wanted to pay separately. It seemed like that was very difficult

Just had a lovely meal here. The food is excellent, the prices are very reasonable and the service is great. Three lovely members of staff looked after us superbly, with special thanks to Winnie. The restaurant is only small, but it is well maintained and very comfortable. Highly recommended

Super eatery in my opinion, I was a little reticent to go reading some of the reviews online, but I thoroughly enjoyed our meal here! The occasion was our grandsons birthday, the staff were brilliant and very attentive, the service was spot on, the drinks were priced reasonably and the food was top-notch! I can recommend the Crispy Duck, the Yeung Chow Fried Rice and the Crispy Shredded Beef. Certainly will go again!

This restaurant is like a tradition the staff are really nice and the food is nicer.When I chomp into a spring roll it springs me to the point where I am dancing on the roof. But in spring roll there's always roll so I roll in the beutifull sweetcorn soup If I had the chance I would have a bath in the sweet and sour soup all up in my face it would be beautifull also like me I'm a vegetarian if your not then cool. It's also always nice to have a Chinese as it feels like your on the other side of the world . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED By Matthew turner

Loved the food, I understand the waitress was very busy but felt too rushed which made it not as calming as should of been like simply waiting for us to finish our sentence before rushing off etc also sat near door so was very cold and I had to get up to close it as no staff memeber did. Overall good experience though because of the food Update: When I went back during a weekday instead, it was a lot better and we sat by the kitchen which was nicer and the staff didn't rush off like last time so the experience felt a lot more relaxed and was still very busy for a week day but not to the point they don't give proper service so I recommend going during week for a better experience :)

Usually a fairly standard takeaway, though nothing special in comparison to the menu items on offer in the city centre. However, last night was basically cornstarch and water as each meal was a journey through greasy, soggy, blandness. I wish the chinese restaurants and takeaways in north Manchester would cook more home style and traditional dishes rather than rely on the grossly unseasoned western dishes from the 70s and 80s.

Was well spaced out and meticulously clean. Friendly staff always on hand. Beef dumplings were amazing and the best sweet and sour chicken I've ever tasted. Good price and very filling.

Our latest discovery and straight away become our favourite Cantonese/Chinese restaurant! Food is perfect, prepared with care from quality ingredients. Beef is delicate and juicy and sea food fresh and aromatic. Highly recommended!

I'm a big fan of Chinese food, and this stuff is some of the best I've come across in the uk. The shredded beef is amazing, the salt and pepper squid is sublime, the pork skewers are so tender and flavoursome - seriously highly recommended. Oh, and RT portions are so generous (at least if you take away, not sure how they come if you eat in)

This is a great local Chinese restaurant with an extensive menu and friendly waitstaff. I particularly love the scallops in black bean sauce. Whenever we want a quick hit of Asian goodness we go to Taos, there's nowhere else locally that is as good.

Service was poor when we visited, at 8.30 on a saturday night. There was only one other table in the restaurant but service wasn't quick and it took over an hour for our mains. Then left waiting at the end of our meal with no offers of further drinks or indeed the bill. Food was decent enough but lack of service would put me off returning.
