The chef here does the BEST burgers in Manchester in Toast….and that’s not even the main reason I go here for mostly midweek lunch or brunch. I recommend the brunch burger with its egg and bonus hash brown. The breakfast, bagels melts and coffee are all excellent. Keep up the good work Toast!

I have been before a couple of times..called in on my own today...Great veggie bagel brunch and coffee ...Read a couple of the reviews from the past where some people haven't responded favourably...I know people who like other establishments very nearby that I don't so I can only write as I see it..really good on every occasion I have been ...price..well you kind of get what you pay for and just what is cheap these days? Free bottled water ...paying for ketchup ? It was on the table ....friendly service for me and everyone else that I witnessed...ill be back...thanks Mike

My partner and I visited TOAST to grab some brunch on the go and I could not recommend it enough. The food was great, hot and tasty and the coffee is really good too. The portions are amazing for the price. The best thing about this place though is the service. The ladies behind the counter were so friendly and lovely, we will definitely be returning there again. Thank you for the yummy breakfast ciabatta! ⬇️⬇️ Update, second visit Nov 2021(with photos) Took some friends who were visiting us from Wales to TOAST for a good ol' fry up and coffee this morning, and we all left with full happy bellies. 3 TOAST breakfasts and a chicken chorizo melt, all were delicious. Very reasonable price for what you get and for the quality of the food. Only one minor moment, where a waitress was a bit rude, when we politely mentioned when our food arrived that we hadn't had our coffees yet, as she stated "well we're actually a bit busy" which of course we could see, and we've all worked in cafes/restaurants so we know what it's like and felt we didn't quite deserve the comment. We were only trying to let her know. But as I said - we've all had the experience of how stressful it can get when it gets busy and it didn't ruin the morning overall.

I've been to toast a few times now and have had a great experience everytime. I'm always met with the same lovely lady who seats me and serves me with kindness and professionalism. The food is great and comes quickly, means I can eat here on my hour lunch break. A cute place! Also has a good menu, I'm vegan and I always find something I want!

My go to order for a rough morning. Their all day breakfast rolls are to die for and their coffee is very pleasant. Only issues is one occasion of receiving a wrong order from delivery (only one out of 10 or so orders) and sometimes can leave you feeling slightly too heavy. Would highly recommend and would be 5 stars without these two minor issues Edit: Have now gone in person and the experience is fantastic. Food is a little cheaper and the service is brilliant. 5 stars based on the in person experience

Lovely little spot. Unassuming from the outside, clean and bright inside. Plenty of choices, friendly staff and really clear loyal customer fanbase! Gluten free options available, varied drinks from coffee, tea and juices to beer and wine. Food looked fresh, reasonable prices too.

New favourite. Happened to be walking past in a lull on a Saturday afternoon and managed to get a table. Good selection of food, Nice coffee and good portion for price. Good to see places like this popping up and reviving Withington centre. Definitely be back🙂

Went with my wife for breakfast. (We had the full English and full Veggie options). Coffee's was excellent. Breakfast good and staff were excellent and following the COVID guidelines which is always reassuring and professional. First time visit and would pop in again to try the other breakfast options. The type of business that's really good for the high street. Also had a great playlist of James, The Beatles, A-Ha etc 👍

TOAST gets a lot of stick from random people online because they chose to get on their fake high horse and wilfully misinterpret a Facebook post TOAST put up about what happens when people do a runner. It seems mad to me how half the bad reviews are “too expensive” and the other half are “pay your staff more”. From someone who’s been here a few times and ordered on deliveroo (or uber eats, I can’t remember) I want to let you know how great the food is. The bagels are loaded the so high they’d feed a family of four for a week - what a bargain. The English Breakfasts are also spectacular, and the convenience of having it delivered to your door is worth the mark up. Lovely staff and it feels like a friendly cafe with a good vibe. Face to face chatting and community spirit and all that lovely stuff. TOAST 4 eva.

The full English from here is unreal and so cheap. It had that level of cheap but not too cheap that you want from a breakfast. Nice chunk of toast, beans, bacon, hash brown etc. Really good, will definitely come again. Ideal for getting a takeaway full English as the container used separates the components of the breakfast and keeps it nice and warm. I'd recommend ordering from them over the phone rather than deliveroo.

Hi! I’ve been coming to this place for just over two years now! The food is really good! Fresh ! The cafe is clean and the staff are as friendly and as welcoming as I’ve ever seen! I would recommend this place to any 1 me and my footie pals go here b4 our matches on a sat! It sets us up for our game nicely!!

So great it’s now open evenings! Been the perfect place to have a lovely casual family dinner. The pizzas are of the best quality and love the menu selection, but priced much lower than you’d expect. Our little one hoovered hers up and wanted more! Will def be back regularly I imagine on nights we’re not going to cook, or for takeaway. Great job TOAST! :)

Friendly Staff, Laid-back atmosphere and Good Food and Beverages. What's not to Love? I give it 5stares no problem! 💋👍dated 17/12/2020 - I'm adding an update to my review.....in the last couple of weeks I had cause to use bathroom facilities. It was getting late afternoon/early evening and I was quite desperate (to put it mildly!). I asked politely (read *begged*) to use the facilities at #CoffeeLab and #Subway, both of which told me quite bluntly - NO, the reason being that I wasn't wearing a mask (#CoffeeLab) and they'd cleaned up so the tables were in the Toilet ( EEEWWW! not the most Hygienic place for the tables that people eat and drink off of to be)! At this point I was very near to having an "accident" and on the verge of tears, I almost fell into #TOAST and pleaded to use their facilities. The Lovely Lady behind the till said "Yes, of course. It's upstairs". I could've kissed her! I went and when I came back down I remarked that I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only do they cater for Mother's and Babies, they also cater for Religions who wash their *bits* rather than/ as well as use Toilet paper! I cannot recommend TOAST highly enough! They're not only THE most generous of premises they're also THE most indiscriminately free with their facilities! I give them #10STARS!
