Love this place. Always come here when in Manchester. Food is always perfect. My 7 year old daughter especially loves it. It's her favourite and she always has dessert after aswel! Never hear the end of it if we don't go 🙄

I've really enjoyed my visits here and will continue to return. Fills the steak craving well and a solid portion is served. I've particularly enjoyed my last 2 visits because of Ommer and on my most recent one Saif, who both hosted so well and ensured everything was okay for me and my family from start to finish. It was a lovely place. Our food did arrive late; however, my starters just tasted like somasa; nothing special just had a fancy name. The mocktail that I ordered was "tropical crush" was nothing more than a slushie. So I'd avoid it if anyone orders it. My main was amazing medium rare on point and hit the right spot. During my visit, an incident occurred where a young lad collapsed, and a member staff stayed with individual throughout duration, giving assurance to him and looking after the young lad until the paramedic arrived. So 5* from me. I hope he reads my review, and it was just amazing to see that he did not once left Young Lad side. Keep it up.

We had great time eating steak in here. It was a big portion and the taste was good. We came from Liverpool and our kid was tired and sleepy. They have very comfortable sofa in our table for her to sleep. The staff is kind and helpful. They allow us to pray in the second floor even providing us with the direction and prayer mat. Restaurant looks posh in the area and so do the price also....food is OK I wouldn't say excellent for the price.... Meat well cooked but not enough seasoned according to my pallet ..so called spicy rice which I could find it spicy......meat could have been better at least.... Travelling from South East ....if fill the stomach but not the pallet......would try again if I go to the area to fill the hunger not to fill the pallet... If it changed then its great...

We went to eat there as a family. The food was delicious, amazing service from Dalya and Sheema. Child received crayons to use on their colouring sheet. We ordered the Lamb Steak, Surf And Turf and the Lamb Chops. Everything was tasty and came to us sizzling hot and in good portions. If you want to try steak, we definitely recommend this place and we will come back again.

Ordered the sharing platter from starters, halloumi fries, strawberry daiquiri and blue jazz mocktails. The sharing platter was a very good size for two. The chops were large and succulent. The calamari tasted very fresh and had a good batter on it. The wings were flavoursome but could’ve been spicier considering we asked for hot. The halloumi fries paired with pomegranate seeds was a pleasant new flavour pallet. The slushies were delish. We also received very good service from our waitress, Dahlia, who was attentive and considerate of us and our requirements. Would definitely visit again and sample more of the menu as the other dishes we saw arriving at other tables looked scrumptious.

The chefs did an amazing job with the food however the price was ridiculous and really needs to be rethought. The manager was dismissive and entitled, however the service from the staff was great, we was seated quickly and given menus, our order was taken and the waitress' were very accommodating and well mannered. Toros was definitely a steakhouse I reccomend. The portion size was very big and the steaks were cooked to perfection of our tastes. I got a chicken steak with pasta and chips as sides which complimented the meal well. There was also grilled onions on the platter which I loved the most. Their mocktails were also great, would definitely recommend 10/10.

Food was A1, service was good. Just slightly annoyed with the fact that they over charged me for drinks and when I pointed this out they didn't understand or rectify. They thought they were giving a £1 discount lol. When they over charged me by £2. It really didn't bother me as I was going to leave a tip and it was only a couple of pounds. They were going off the price on the tablet when the menu has different prices not great but I suppose these things do happed.

Never fails to disappoint!! The other half and I make it a point to have our wedding anniversary meals here (it's quite far from where we live) and we were blown away today (28/6/21). Not only was the food amazing but the staff are doing an amazing job and added the cherry to our visit today. The 2 ladies and gentleman on today are a credit to Toro's and were attentive and amazing!! We will defo return before our next anniversary. Amazing food and amazing staff!

There was a queue. This place is busy. They are doing well. Me and the Mrs and my son went. They were really welcoming. Kind. Helpful. That’s where u guys got the 3 stars. Anyway food comes up. Piping hot. Well presented. But it was bland. It’s like the steak has not been seasoned. I got the sizzler which is well priced. I got the spicy rice with it. (Again it’s not spicy, bland) and pasta. The dish comes with veg as-well which tasted like rubber. It was pretty disappointing. The Pasta had tut much sauce on it. It just didn’t work. Why was the food like that? Maybe because they are mad busy or just didn’t care. Waste of money it was for me. Will I eat there again? No. Will I recommend it? Yes, to a good atmosphere but no for the food. Sorry guys. This time it hasn’t worked out for me or my wife.

First time visiting here. I ordered t-bone steak, I get now it's their signature but didn't like the fact it was served on a sizzler (I didn't know this before I visited), awkward and difficult to eat off. My medium-well was not medium-well, what's the point of asking how you would like it cooked and then serve it on a hot plate that's cooks it even more. The steak generally was quite dry, when you pour on your sauce of choice, the sizzler ends up cooking it away and drying up the sauce too. The vegetables were plain boiled frozen vegetables and not even seasoned. Coleslaw was nice and creamy. Customer service was standard, at thier prices, would not visit again.

We've wanting to go to the Coventry branch for a while now... And ended up visiting Toro's whilst in Manchester! The service was prompt and although the card machine was broken, we were made aware of this before ordering. The gentleman who took care of us was very accommodating and allowed us to pray in a quiet area. On to the food, we had a quarter chicken and a sizzler. Whilst the food was good, the mocktails definitely stole the show! I'll be going back for those alone!

Apart from adding the service charge on the bill without stating it, the food is amazing! They serve pretty fast once dined in! For the 50% discount, the wait was 2hrs but the food was worth the wait. Definitely will go again!

Best steak I had so far. They provide huge portion so be mindful of that. Its all halal. If you are ordering a sauce with your steak then I would recommend the pepper sauce. Its the best one. If you are after a steak that melts in your mouth without breaking the bank then go for the rib eye cooked medium rare. Costs around £15. Very friendly staff. There can be queues and that just tells you how good the place is. Definite recommend.

Had a family meal here recently. Overall food was good but the disappointing thing was the peri peri chips.... apparently marinated in their own special peri sauce. They were nothing more than basic oven chips smothered in ketchup sauce (apparently a lot of other customers have said the same according to the person serving us). A sprinkling of peri powder would have been great instead. Finally the bill... the service charge (over £3) was written on the receipt in tiny lettering as "SC" so it is not immediately obvious. This needs to change as this is a blatant attempt to mislead the customer. I refused to pay the service charge. Come on Toro's!! let's have more transparency and stop trying to dupe the public.

Went to Toro's recently with my 2 friends. Food is good if a little expensive. Staff are friendly, and the service is quick, even during slightly busier times. I ordered the nachos for a starter and the lamb steak with chips and pasta as the sides and extra fried onions for my main meal. With a Coke as the drinks choice and some gravy my bill came to £21.96 which is maybe a tad on the expensive size for a good rather than a great steak meal. The steak comes to you sizzling on a plate while it's still cooking away. A couple of tips I would say are to avoid wearing anything too nice since your clothes will stink quite a bit after leaving the restaurant and because the metal/ceramic plate that the steak comes is so hot if you order the pasta as a side it will stick to the plate and you won't be able to eat it. This was my 2nd trip to Toro's and would definitely come again in the future.

Food was amazing, the steak was very juicy and drink selection was good. Service was very good, a bit slow but they were very busy when i went. The only reason i dropped by one star is that when we paid the bill they didnt return the change, we had to ask for it, which in turn also reduced their tip. Never had this happen at any other restuarant, but maybe they just forgot. I will still be visiting as i love the peri chips

Last time I came to Toro's was probably two years ago and I really didn't enjoy the food, and most of the stuff on the menu, I was told you weren't making them anymore, so I had a disappointed experience, but my two nephews from Scotland loved the place, so when he came over to Manchester we tried Toro's again yesterday, and this time I was not disappointed, I loved the jumbo prawns and my cousin loved her tilapia and my other cousin loved her lamb steak and my nephew loved his beef steak but he did ask for medium rare and got well done, slight slip up, but please please could you keep up your standards, because I hate having a bad experience it puts me off from trying again.

A bit of a mixed experience at this restaurant which was disappointing. Lovely, helpful staff. We went for Iftar and I loved that bottles of water and fruit platters were provided so everyone had something to break the fast on while waiting for the food to come. There was a small prayer space on the second floor. Very warm restaurant and a/c was not very powerful and open windows made no difference. As for the food: I ordered the chicken fillet sizzler with fries, spicy rice and mushroom gravy on the side and I really enjoyed my meal. The kids had chicken tenders which were nice unbreaded chicken breast slices. I was pleasantly surprised that they were not nuggets. We ordered 4 burgers altogether and these were terrible: everyone said they were full of nasty gristly chunks. Worst burgers we have had in a long time so please Toro’s, address this gristle issue and make sure that only meat is going into your burgers. Based on the experience of those in our group who ordered burgers, we won’t be revisiting.

If you’re out for a nice piece of steak this is the place. Food comes piping hot on a hot plate and you will need to take a few minutes for it to cool down before you eat or else you will burn your tongue like I did. Service is decent here, they let you get on with your meal without interrupting too many times when you’ve got your mouth full of food. Food has good flavour and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Good but some things to consider. I've not heared of a place with so much mixed feelings you either like it or don't. Location: This is located on the famous curry mile in manchester. Parking can be very tricky but can manage to find a place with people comming and going. Food and Price: I went here after many recommendations from friends and family and I have to say is wasn't too bad...but it wasn't the best steak I've had. The steaks are cooked to your desire rare medium well done etc... but I think it lacked some strong flavour... and I think allot of the flavours comes from allot of the extra that comes with the food...but again I think this would come from your own preference... Alcohol is not served here so if your looking for a place that doesn't then it's a good place to be considering allot of places on the curry mile do. Staff/decor/price. The staff are accommodating and professionally dressed with good table service. The restaurant does however lack space... tables are close to each other and when walking past your close to others. You do tend to find allot of couples and I don't think you would find big families dining here due to its price. Price of food is definitely not cheap. I believe you cant put a price on good food but i think based on the food compared to price it isn't value for money. With allot of steak places around mancheater I think it's difficult for me to pay the price to dine here... If the price drops then i would consider another visit. it's a alternative to the currys you expect from this location but still a nice place as a couple.

Superb Take Away Service. My wife and I decided to have Toro's take away for Valentine's dinner. We placed an order with ease on the Toro's website and ordered 5 steaks for 7.15pm pick up. We ordered around 5.30pm. The website was great and easy to use and there is a direct discount of 20% with ordering. We arrived just before 7.15pm to a COVID secure pick up to find that the food had just arrived to the front table for collection. The food was packaged in individual potions neatly in a foil container. We had 5 containers to take and a tub of coleslaw. Packaging was brilliant, food temperature and appearance great. It took us 20+ minutes to get home and in opening the cartons each meal was ready. The steaks were cooked to exactly the right way we had asked and the meat sizes were exactly as expected. As for the portions there is emphasis on plenty of food - very big and filling portions. We were very happy - good quality, well cooked food, good value for money and a really filling meal. Our kids were also really happy and the whole family enjoyed the meal. Well done to all at the restaurant for ensuring the food is made and cooked on time and with no queue for collection, everything is working well. A real treat for Valentine's Day, keep up the good work.

Decided to make a change and try some steak so off we went to toros, ordered the toros special steak with mash, also fancied some chicken wings. The food arrived quite fast and the waiter was absolutely fantastic, the steak was absolutely delicious so that’s a positive thing, the chicken wings were not up to my liking. We also ordered the mojito which again I didn’t like however it is quite popular as I asked the waiter. Overall it was ok and would definitely go again.

I hadn't eaten at Winslow Road toros for a number of years now, due to the declining quality but have frequented my local toros in Bradford. However I was in the area a few weeks ago, and decided to give it a go. I ordered a premium sirloin cooked to medium rare with mash and chips. I looked at the steak which was shimmering with juices and as I cut in to the beef in front of me, I saw that the steak was actually cooked to medium rare! This was a new experience for me at Manchester Toros as they always came overcooked. I put a small slice of the steak into my mouth and my pallete was greeted with an explosion of flavour and juices from the steak. I was shocked! It wasn't sinewy as before and I knew they had let the steak rest a little so the juices would go back into the meat. It wasn't the best steak I had eaten, but for the price, it was a steal. The chips were decent and the buttery mash wasn't half bad. Better than most places even though I had to add a heaping of salt and pepper as it lacked seasoning. The peppercorn sauce was creamy and had actual peppercorns in it and wasn't watery as the last time I visited this branch. All in all, I was very impressed. My one gripe was, the premium steak is supposed to come on a wooden board as you are paying extra for a full 8oz (correct me if I'm mistaken) steak alongside nice presentation of the meal. My steak here came on the usual sizzling serving plate which does nothing for me except add an unnecessary gimmick and cooks the steak even more so. Once a steak is rested it should never be reheated. I do however realise that most of the customers prefer this flamboyant presentation and like a gigantic mound of food in front of them. This includes my own friends. I also didn't like the mojito and the staff made a new one without fuss. The customer service and the food is finally being taken seriously and this is due to the new restaurant manager who is doing a tremendous job here organising the brigade and the front of house team. Keep it up.

I have to say the steak was pretty good, cooked medium rare even though i asked for medium which is not a problem for me, although for other members of the group it was too pink inside for them to eat. If it's not the long waiting hours to a) be served and b) receive your food, it's the mildly warm food. Thankfully, it doesn't taste that bad, the dining area has a pleasant ambiance, seating is fine however I'd avoid sitting on the high stools in the middle of the room. The restaurant is clean and I can't complain about the portion sizes. It's overpriced for what it is but it's the only place on the road (as of April 2016) that does whole steak fillets and not the diced chunks. Try it but don't expect anything special

I have been going to Toro's for a long time it's always delicious & tasty. This place can get very busy, so be prepared to wait. Love the Toros original lemonade, very refreshing. They also give a colouring kit for kids, which is a nice touch.

Very tasty steaks! Good range of mains and sides on the menu, plus good mocktails. Service was good, but could have been a little more personable. Overall, was definitely worth the price.

This place was great. Went here twice in 2 days with different groups of friends and every time the food was on point and mashallah the staff are amazing and so friendly. I want to give Yazn a special mention as both days he made our meal amazing with his customer service and friendly nature. Keep it up brother, jazakallah for making our iftaar a special one.

Have the Toro Mignon premium steak. Perfectly executed dressing and was exceptionally tasty. The peppercorn sauce and the mocktails can be better. Staff very polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend....
