No doubt on the food, it’s exceptionally good. Much better than those in China Town. And you can forget most of the restaurants in China Town after trying this. However, this restaurant also charges pricy, you should budget about £40 per head excluding drinks.

My partner and I had given up on Chinese takeaway until we found this absolute gem. It's by far the best Chinese food we've had in Manchester. The staff are lovely, food is incredible and the location is lovely.

Food is good, service isn't the best, staff are relatively rude, they also lack certain dips that you would normally expect with your starters... Over priced. Pacifica is a much better option. Was asked how much I was going to tip when paying which I have never experienced in my life. Tung Fong decor and experience seems to be stuck in 1970.

I grew up eating Szechuan food at least four days a week and later worked in the gastro industry myself. Tung Fong is fantastic: and as authentic as anything I've had anywhere else. You could believe you're in southwest China if only it was a lot noisier and maybe not quite as polite. The selection is large, unlike most "Chinese" restaurants, and the menu is thankfully missing a dozen or two versions of fried chicken, dreadful curries, chips, "mixed grill", and other awfulness. The menu also isn't a few pages of Protein+Sauce. Tung Fong's sauces are matched to the meats, seafood, tofu & veg, and there are a lot of specialty dishes. I only have minor complaint: the place is somewhat pricey but I've been told by others that's due in part to the area. They do offer a decent good discount for take-away and another few points off for cash payment -- basically making up for the card charges they don't have to pay. The other problem is what they're passing off as "General Tso's chicken". It's everything that General Tso's Chicken ISN'T. Wrong sauce wrong veg,, wrong flavours, and even the chicken isn't prepped correctly. But everything else I had was fantastic. If I hit the lottery, I'm coming to stay in Manchester until I've worked my way through this menu. If you're within 20 miles of Worsley, it's worth the detour. You really don't want to miss Tung Fong.

This is an amazing Chinese restaurant. We couldn't fault one meal. We tried the salt and pepper ribs which everyone raves about and it was amazing but not compared to some of the other dishes. We cannot wait to go back.

Excellent food and a great choice of dishes, some very unusual. However, it is quite expensive so value for money is a matter of opinion. They do takeaway but be warned - it's totally not geared for it as parking is virtually nonexistent.

Wasn't too impressed with takeaway. Seaweed tasted burnt and noodles and blackbean was very greasy. £35.00 and not even free prawn crackers! Aromatic duck was lively but that was it. Chicken wings salt and garlic very small and food overall not very hot. Box was waiting for me in reception and not kept hot in the kitchen.

Food is delicious, lots of choice , lovely setting , homely area right by Worsley canal. Eaten here plenty of times over the years and enjoyed my 30th there in December . Staff are always lovely and polite and always strive for great service . Make sure to book in advance as they do get busy .

One of my favourite Chinese's in the area! I've never actually had the privilege of eating inside but the takeaway food is to die for! Staff are nice and friendly and I always seem to strike up a conversation with a stranger in the waiting area whilst waiting for food. Highly recommended!

Nice Chinese restaurant, they take care for you, only there should not be goldfish in a fishing tank, a lot of people doesn't know what happens to them. And also there is a bad internet connection. But the food is great!

went on a friday night with a party of five for a meal, i have been a couple of times in the past and always been impressed with the food and service. this time the food was good but not as good as i am used to from this place , maybe the chef was just having an off day. still dont be put off worth a visit.

Nice little restaurant, came highly recommended but it's taken me 4 years to eat here. Reasonable prices, definitely on the high side, but it's not rubbish. Shared combo starter and two mains with green tea cost £47. Menu extremely varied, but that makes it rather hit and miss. 3-chilli Portuguese/Macau seafood special rather bland like a korma, Peking sauce amazing. I've had better, but have also had a lot worse! Probably won't go again; Yang Sing in city centre is much nicer all round and more attentive service for similar prices.
