I can't believe the value for money at this place.
My partner and I came for Valentine's day after coming for New Years. We went for the bottomless cocktails and meals menu, which is insane value. We ended up with 7 cocktails each, plus 3 courses. With certain items, you have to pay a supplement and you might have to add a side, but it's still unbelievable value for money considering that the food is really nice.
I think it's worth pointing out though that this place isn't really authentic when it comes to Caribbean food, but it's still lush. The cocktails are really good, too. With plenty of alcohol.
The only thing I would say is that it really matters what time you book when you go to something like the bottomless dinner. When we arrived, the waitress was coming over to get our next cocktail order before we'd even finished the ones we had. However, as the night went on, this slowed down. We ended up having 7 cocktails each in a space of two hours, so can't really complain, but it is worth noting.
Would strongly recommend.

Amazing cocktails on the 2-4-1 bit overpriced when full price as they are quite small.
The food however was absolutely gorgeous, and full of flavour. The staff were so helpful and friendly and recommended items.
Lovely atmosphere with great music and vibe.
N. B.
Love this place! Customer service was great our server was really nice and friendly, I would recommend going when drinks are 2for1 as £9.20 for one cocktail isn’t the best price! Would definitely recommend as part of a good night out just make sure you book!

It's amazing place for cocktails. Normally they have happy hour with 2x1, and make sense, because only 1 coctail is not enough to wait for the food. If you are lucky, after 4 coctails you could have your food with you. Otherwise, it's perfect just to drink with a fast service (only drinks) and good number of options.

This turtle bay is so nice! The staff are friendly and helpful, the colours and decorations are really cool too. I went with a group of 7 people and we all got different stuff. I choose the Fish Fry. The plate had a good presentation, and the salmon was delicious 🤤 the fried squid was my best part. Regardless the waiting time (around 40min- 1hr) all of the food we ordered came HOT, and at the same time. Meanwhile we were just ordering drinks and cocktails were 241 from 9pm.

We had brunch here, foods were alright.
- Honey bunny birdyard
It came with some kind of fried dough at the bottom, stack with fried chicken and cream cheese on the top, water melon & sweet potato fries on the side.
Chicken was really crispy and tasty, I loved the fried dough at bottom with honey. Water melon was sweet and juicy.
Sweet potato fries was a huge no no, it was super oily at the bottom.
- Spices fries & cheesy jerk fries
Fries were okay, be honestly all I remember is they were soggy.
- Jerk pit wings
The flavor was okay, nothing really special. I would say the slaw on the side was more tasty than the wings.
Overall the foods were alright. It's a good place to go if you wanna grab some drinks and have a great time with your friends there.

Classic turtle bay. Very busy so make sure you book as you won't get in without booking. They had good food and 241 cocktails. Would recommend

If you love Caribbean food, then this is the right place for you.
Colorful ambience with great food, desserts and cocktails.
Definitely recommend.

Visited for bottomless brunch with a few friends. The place has a nice atmosphere and the food is generally good. There is a lot of cocktails to choose from, however, some of them have a lot less alcohol than the others and you can notice it straight away. Our server was Amy and she was helpful, always offering drinks when our current ones were finished.

Great place. The staff were super friendly, and made sure we had water all night. The only issue was that the jerk chicken arrived cold. This was swiftly replaced (with more fries and chicken, which was a bonus), but it still wasn’t particularly warm - although I didn’t bother to raise it again. The cocktails were lovely, and the fries were delicious. Turtle Bay always has a great vibe - I’d definitely come back here.

I usually love Turtle Bay for the great attentive and informative customer service you get but sadly this was lacking at Oxford St. We were given our menus then it took ages to get someones attention to order. Whilst waiting I noticed lots of dirty glasses all stacked up at the bar even though it wasnt that busy and only 4.30 in the afternoon but there seemed no sense of urgency to clean it up. You no longer do Caribbean iced teas which is disappointing. When asked about it we got a mumbled answer that no-one can make them anymore. No apology. Now for the food...Oh dear. I had been so looking forward to ny Curried Salmon for a long time. Unfortunately the salmon was raw and freezing cold when it arrived. I cannot understand how this dish got served up like this. I obviously complained and the waitress was apologetic and I was made another one. Unfortunately my companions had finished their food by the time I got mine. I was offered no compensation for the inconvenience which would have been the thoughtfull thing to do. Just a free round of drinks for the 3 of us would have been a nice gesture. On the plus side the toilets were clean and stocked with toilet roll which can be an issue in other T.B restaurants.

A large Caribbean restaurant located on Oxford Street, near St Peter's Square.
Even though the place looks pretty normal from the outside, it is absolutely huge inside. There is a lot of space, with tables and booths for two, four and six. The interior is done in a style of a Caribbean beach bar, with separate bar and kitchen, seating in a way of wooden chairs and benches and lots of hanging lights. The atmosphere is great, with the restaurant being almost full, lots of people having fun and reggae music blasting from the speakers.
The service was good. A waitress led me to the table for four in the middle of the floor, even though I was on my own. I was serviced quickly, as my drink was served in a minute or two and I waited only for five minutes for my main. The waiters changed several times during my time there, I believe that serving specific tables, they are working on the whole floor. This does make everything more efficient, but less personal.
There is a large menu for food and drinks. A good selection of different starters, mains and desserts, with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. They also offer a good variety of cocktails and rums to thy. The happy hour is very generous, so I would recommend taking advantage of it.
I have ordered Bay Jerk Chicken Breast and a bottle of Island Pilsner. The beer arrived first. Unfortunately, even though the taste was good, it was served in a room temperature, which I did not really enjoy. The main was great, the chicken breast was very nicely seasoned and spiced fries were amazing. But I found the portion to be slightly small.
Overall, I think that Turtle Bay on Oxford St is a great place for a company to meet for a couple of cocktails and a nice meal, I can see it being a great venue of pre-drinks. However, I do not think it is a great place for solo dining or a family meal, especially if you have very young children.

Friendly service in all of Manchester! Had an absolutely brilliant night here and were truly looked after. The food is great and the cocktails are even better! Best daiquiri I've ever had.

Food is amazing and loved the experience. The lady who assisted us with the order was absolutely beautiful and took great care of us. I would highly recommend anyone in Manchester to visit this place.
D. H.
Food, drinks and service was absolutely incredible, we were served by an incredibly sweet person called Chloe, she was so helpful throughout our evening, making sure we felt very welcomed, making us laugh and keeping us topped up on drinks (always a plus). She really made our experience 10x better and helps give this place such a good reputation. The food was incredible and thanks to Chloe and the rest of the team for such an amazing experience :)

I did not really enjoy my drink (pina colada), it was too watery and the restaurant did not have any straws. The food was okay. I was very satisfied with the size of my food.
Although the restaurant looks nice, the toilets were so dirty and smelly. There were tissues soaked everywhere and very untidy.
The staff were polite and Covid-19 protocols were duly observed. I'm rating them 3 mainly because of the unhygienic toilets.
K. M.
amazing food, fast service, our server was new but she was amazing and lovely! i had the vegan chicken burger (amazing) with the cheesy chips and my boyfriend had the watermelon and the Caribbean katsu curry! Thank you Gabi for the amazing service!
B. S.
Classic turtle Bay 2 for 1 cocktails before 7pm.
I had a carribean style katsu curry with rice and peas.
Menu and vibes same as others in this chain.
M. E. J.
Cocktails were ace! Not watery or full of ice. We ordered ribs which were bit burnt but edible all the same. I'd go again for the two for the price of one cocktails 🍹
H. R.
Great food and cocktails. Nice music!! Definitely worth a visit.
W. H.
Came for bottomless brunch and had a great day! Had never been before so it was great to sample the cocktails for a fixed price. Our server was Harriet and she was lovely and made sure we were well taken care of even though it was quite busy. Thank you!
S. M.
Came for bottomless brunch today and it was great! Would definitely recommend. Wasn’t sure with them all the cocktails being rum-based but I enjoyed all of them. Hands down the best place for bottomless brunch. We had Harriet serve us and she was so attentive, even when it was busy. Thank you
L. H.
1st time here, popped in on our way to the theatre for a snack & quick drink.
It was great, the young lady who served us was lovely, I had a chicken roti wrap, small & perfect, probably need a side order with it for a full meal, my friend had a burger which she said was nice too.
Couple of pineapple 🍍 daiquiris. All good & would go again.
R. K.
Myself and 3 friends came for the Brunch 2/06/22 celebrating a birthday an were served by one of your waitresses "Harriet".
She was absolutely fantastic, not once did we have to call her over for another drink, she was proactive, friendly, and made great recommendations for food and drinks.
Toward the end of our 2 hours at Brunch she went on break and another waitress took over who was just as great but unfortunately I never got her name, she was the one though that gave us Harriets name. Please thank them both for us.
A. S.
Nice food and cocktails. Very busy with a good atmosphere. Went here for food before a theatre show with friends. Pre booked in advance. The only niggle would be that our food took a lot longer to arrive than others around and when it did arrive it came in drubs and drabs. Usually wouldn’t bother us but we were pushed for time with going to the theatre. The management team did notice this without being flagged up by ourselves and compensated us which was a nice touch
L. F.
Came here for a bottomless brunch. The service we received from Chloe was amazing. She really made sure we were well looked after, she was super attentive and friendly. Would 100% return!
B.
Had bottomless brunch for two here, great value. We had 6 cocktails plus one to go, our waitress Mia was really good about putting through our drinks quickly because they did take a while after we had ordered them.
N. J.
The best curry goat I have ever eaten. Our waitress Kat was amazing 👏 as we're all the other staff. Very busy but we didn't wait too long for service.
C. _.
Wonderful Caribbean authentic food restaurant. Very friendly service and we really liked the food. Place it’s beautifully decorated and we loved enamel plates. Very homelike atmosphere. Music was not too loud. They also had activities sheets and crayons for children. So this was a BIG PLUS. Also we discovered this wonderful sauce Aunt May’s. Which we are ordering always since we visited this place. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for romantic date, casual meal with friends or family out dinner. 👍
E. D.
Came for bottomless brunch whilst visiting Manchester. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Our server was Abi who was absolutely amazing, she made sure we always had a drink or two on the go and gave us great recommendations and made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend coming here!
S. P.
Didn't eat but we have heard nice things. We went in for a cocktail. The bar tender acted like I was giving him a chore. Door staff need to be more welcoming, we know your tough mate. UK Grime music on full blast hard to have a chat.
M.
Abi was lovely! She always made sure we were okay, was attentive to our needs, paid extra attention to everything and even helped us with our weekend drinking game. Will definitely visit again and always ask for her
J. R.
Good selection of food and nice cocktails. I love the fish dishes from here
N. B.
Lovely service really happy with the drinks and food. Wes was absolutely amazing and gave me a surprise drink which turned out to be the rum runner and it’s one of the best cocktails ever!! Bottomless brunch is so worth it.
M. P.
We came for the bottomless brunch and the service was so quick and everyone was so friendly, mike was an amazing server he was is lovely! Millie who served us to was amazing she memorised 6 cocktails off the top of her head which shocked us all, I love this place would highly recommend.
M. T.
Good food and had at least 10 cocktails in a 2 hour period of bottomless brunch! £29.50 each but had the equivalent of over a hundred pounds of drinks and food! Top notch value
A. D.
My friend and I had the bottomless brunch at Turtle Bay bay Oxford Road Manchester. The food was delicious and Owen our server was very attentive and ensured we didn't have an empty glass. All round a great afternoon.
K. M.
Had a very nice meal at this restaurant, but beware the prices on the menu which include things like fries bear no resemblance to the final bill. It took me a while to realise they'd charged me extra as add on items for two items which were supposed to be inclusive. Was very expensive relative to the quality of the food, but it did taste good. Atmosphere was upbeat and staff were polite.
P. H.
Curry Goat and Brown Stew Chicken. This restaurant is ok but the food is not very authentic. The chicken was grilled and then stirred into the sauce... there seemed to be a lack of peppers, onions, garlic, ginger and thyme that usually really push the flavour in this dish. The same was true of the curry goat, it was very average. Neither meal was cooked on the bone, which is really needed to drive the flavour in West Indian cuisine. The chilli's were chopped and added rather than cooked in whole and removed. Having said this the rice was excellent the dumpling was good although I would prefer it sweeter, and the Mac & Cheese was nice. I think that the typical diner is probably teen to twenties looking for homogenised boneless, tasteless, processed food. The bottomless drinks offer is good value and I suspect that the last two statements tell you all you need to know. If you are looking for a real Caribbean taste, this is not the place to go. If you want cocktails and average food with an island vibe, get in there.
M. R.
Loved the food. Great service. Music was a bit loud so one star deducted for that. Equally I'm 43, so add a star if you're less than that. Equally still, I recognised Clash by Dave and Stormzy, so I might be 43, but I am down with the kids
T. T.
Owen was amazing, polite, welcoming and very attentive with drinks. Always greeted us with a nice smile. Would recommend coming and being service by Owen as he was very friendly.
L. M.
We came as a group of 8 for bottomless, on bank holiday weekend. Genny was our server and honestly the best service we have received! She was so attentive and bubbly made our time great! Will deffo be coming back.
A. C.
My daughter brought me here for bottomless brunch for my birthday, we had an amazing time, lovely food and fantastic service, we never had a empty glass! Will definitely come back
j. b.
Busy atmosphere but quick service and great staff
N. T.
Amazing experience Mia was brilliant nothing too much trouble. Would defiantly be back as just a overall lovely day.
Just want to say again get Mia as your host as she is excellent
J. S.
Mia was amazing ! She couldn’t do enough for us while we were on my sisters hen do - hands down the best server ever!!! We’ll definitely be coming again if that’s the level of service we can expect!!
T. K.
Very friendly staff even though it was very busy. The prices are a bit steep and they charge 10%service charge. Thing that lets them down is the toilets. The toilet roll holders are missing, no spare rolls anywhere, the locks are hanging off the doors. Downright shabby. I believe it is meant to look like a shack, but this is ridiculous.
S. H.
Great. Got seated very quickly , served and food arrived within 10-15 mins , food great. The No Moo burger was excellent.
Waitress very friendly. 👍🤩
M. T. C.
Had bottomless brunch with my friend and it was fab, we got 7 cocktails each which was amazing for the price and the waitress really made the experience, Abby was lovely, so attentive and kind, will definitely be coming again, hoping to be served by Abby next time

Great place, full of young people and reggae music. It's a contrived chain, but it works, as do all chains. Very tasty food too which can't be faulted.
H. B.
Visited on the 5th of february as part of a Hen do. We were a group of 10 with 6 visually impaired people. We sat upstairs which was lovely and private and away from the noise of a Saturday. We were served by Owen who was fantastic and went above and beyond helping everyone individually , recommending cocktails and pointing out his favourite dishes on the menu. When a couple of people couldn't decide what curry they wanted owen brought out tasters and chips to help them decide. Also went above and beyond to help out group with the bill at the end
J. R.
Carribbean soul food is by all means the way to a man's heart.
Unfortunately my heart was left cold and empty after the experience I had.
Food was very nice, the drinks ere stronger than my grip after a Stella. Though the floor is very "trippy" (pun intended)
Beleiev or not the most redeamable part was the specimen I ate with managed to deshell her prawns almost perfectly and therefore the experience was unforgettable.
D.
If you come for bottomless brunch Mia is the one. Gets you in the mood and never lets anyone have an empty drink. Perfect for the bottomless brunch.
S. R.
This is a nice restaurant. great food and really, really good service. I started with the Jerk Pit Wings which were tasty and had a nice amount of heat. They were also messy which is just what you want. For main it was the Mo'Bay Chicken which came with lovely rice and to finish it was a chocolate brownie. The drinks were good too with the Island Pilsner being a nice refreshing beer especially when you have about 4 of them. We ate early and the place was getting busier as we left and it had a nice buzz. I will be going back.
l. u.
Great place for heat Good food
E. C.
Fab bottomless brunch afternoon, our server Owen was brilliant making sure we had plenty of drinks, would definitely recommend!
F. B.
Went for the bottomless brunch and had very good service! Our waitress Emily was very attentive and brought us lots of drinks, very good value for money ! 🤩
P. H.
We had bottomless brunch on saturday what a great day .good atmosphere and the staff we all lovely . Especially Sophie very friendly and professional. Thanks Soohie xxx
B. W.
The cocktails are fantastic and very reasonably priced so be careful not to overdo it at happy hour
The food is great, loved the Buddha bowls
L. R.
Food was okay but nothing better than that. Seem to have changed the menu and the options available now are much poorer. Staff friendly though.
c. g.
The place is good with Caribbean vibes and food. The 241 cocktails are also good...it gets quite busy on Fridays and Saturday evenings and the music is louder. Great hangout joint
P. C.
Grate service and reasonable price, I personally thought my burger was a bit too well done but as a Jamaican style restaurant I should of expected that to be the case and it didn't subtract from my experience all in all would definitely recommend
H. C.
Really delicious food and great service. Fantastic selection of cocktails, with a happy hour offer. There is a decent range of hot and milder choices and the spicy dishes have a great depth of flavour instead of just being hot. Theres a good selection of both mains and sharing dishes, and the food came so quickly there was time for an extra cocktail before our gig. The spiced chips were very good, I would really recommend them as a side. The place is minorly let down by the state of the toilets, not only did some stalls not have paper, others had the dispenser half/fully ripped off the wall.
T. H.
Caribbean themed bar with fast & friendly service. Loads of rum based cocktails & other popular drinks. Lager wise it's Red Stripe which I don't mind at all decent pint. If your looking for a bite to eat in there there's plenty to go at from quick snacks to meals. I will definitely be calling in again.
S. B.
Great cocktails and lovely food - I absolutely love the Royal mac and cheese with pulled jerk chicken!
S. T.
Fabulous place to eat x we was recommended the £27 bottomless brunch offer. Unlimited cocktails and a main course, so that's what we did. If I had one small complaint the chicken roti wrap was a little burnt on the outside.
Was thoroughly impressed with own sanitiser on each table 👍👍
E. N.
Amazing meal!! The curry chicken was a sure win - fit for my asian palette lol. The buttermilk chicken and mac & cheese were fantastic too. Attentive and friendly staff, no issues with their service at all. Lovely vibe to this place as well - lots of detail put into the decor, lighting, music. Possibly my only gripe would be the portions. Expect to order more (sides and what not) if you're hungry. But for the price point it's quality stuff. Can't wait to be back again x
M. P.
Fantastic food and helpful staff. Felt very safe and spaced out from the other diners too. But remember even the mildest curries here can be a bit spicy.
m. A.
Lovely food & lovely service & great atmosphere
m. h.
Great service for the bottomless brunch. Drinks never empty. Great bar staff. 😍
S. B.
Perfect lunch, Trini Curry Chicken served with a Red Stripe and a smile. For dessert a Rum 'n' Tonic. Good atmosphere in this place, and all the girls running to serve with a friendly smile. Pay this joint a visit, you will not regret it.

Get that Friday feeling at Turtle Bay
It has a proper party feel that makes you feel like you’re abroad in a cabin on the beach. It’s thriving on a Friday evening and especially with the Summer Soundclash event they had on, it was banging with the live DJ. This is the place to go if you’re after the different flavours and we were curious as to what the Vegetarian/ Pescatarian options will provide.
One thing you notice about the menu is that if you’re feeling a tapas style situation or there’s a few of you, they have deals for 2 options or 3, which come in cheaper than buying separately.
To start with, we had;
Jamaican Patties, with roast vegetables [£5.50] - Creamy, with a hint of mustard and is a good starter to get you in the right flavours and is perfect for sharing
Then, we moved on to;
Curry Salmon [£10.80] - A coconut curry quite like a Thai Green Curry, but mellow and chilled - all in a good way. It was really smooth with the pickled onions providing a kick. The green chutney on top was really nice!
Turtle Bay Roti Rolls, with Sweetcorn fritters [£7.50] - Filled to the brim and pimped up. Without talking about the inside, the roti itself was soo good with a charcoal/ smoked tinge to it (made with hand stretched dough). Then onto the fillings, where the avocado cools the dish. We had this dipped in the bbq sauce and it just finished it off perfectly
Side plates of [2 for £5.50];
Spiced Fries [£3] - A really, good combo of spices that provides a lovely twist on plain potato fries
Sweet Potato Fries [£3] - These were nice, fat and juicy
To finish it all of;
Chilli Chocolate Brownie [£5] - There’s limited non-alcoholic dessert options so we tried the brownie. The chilli didn’t work too well for us, and you’ve probably figured out from previous posts we don’t like thyme in our desserts and now chilli is added to that list
Kickin Ice Cream, Sea Salt & burnt caramel [£1 per scoop] - On the hot day that it was, this was the perfect end to the meal - a sweet, cool finish
For that day we want a different set of flavours, we’ll probably be heading down to Turtle Bay.
Recommendation Rating: Medium
Service: High
Price: ££
Halal: Vegetarian/ Pescatarian items

Cocktails were naff to be honest. Cheap way to get drunk but don't go for cocktails there if you genuinely like your cocktails.
J. H.
Absolutely happy with my choice to try this place. Friendly and helpful staff for a start. The food was heavenly tasty. Atmosphere and vibe of this place as amazing too. Vegan separate menu with very nice options. It is at very easy to get to place too. Would recommend anytime

Went before a reggae concert and couldn't ask for more. Great music, great vibe, great deco, kind staff and tasty food. A bit pricey, but the food worth it, and I couldn't even taste the rum on my mojito.
G. C.
The beautiful miss a was our waitress who was attentive and polite she needs a raise !!!! ❤️ Thank you Mia
M. S.
Went out for a meal with the boys. Got a table without booking. Smells amazing when you enter. 2 for 1 on cocktails. 😋 the food was delicious. Cooked well and presented lovely. The deserts OMG I could eat them for ever. Highly recommended. Staff were very friendly.
B. M.
Really delicious food, love it there. Sad they've got rid of the upstairs games section here though, used to have great fun with friends there, so was less inclined to stay behind for some extra drinks when I went yesterday.
B. O.
Chloe is an absolute gem. The best waitress I have had by far. Lovely with recommendations and service. Would highly recommend this restaurant to all. Great experience xxxx
O. I.
I had an easy time. Popped in at 1pm on a Tuesday for drinks. Quick and friendly service. 👍
Toilet doors were broken, hence 4 stars and not 5
A. F.
Huge range of drinks followed with good food and approachable staff. They’re informing of deals etc. Special thanks to joselyn for servicing us.
R.
We love Jacob and Eddie. They were the best waiter/bartender combo we’ve ever had. We will definitely come back again!! They attended to every need, and ensured we were satisfied throughout!!

Fantastic service from Harriet, and ollie on the bar was very knowledgable and talented. My partner works in the industry and said their passion fruit martini was his new favourite cocktail. Also the food was outstanding big thank you to the kitchen. Thanks again guys was a lovely experience will definitely be coming gain!

Omg. First time here. April, our server, absolute GEM. Food fab and plenty of cocktails. Came with daughters for birthday. 5* loved the atmosphere, even mid week. Chilled .

Special theme and decoration. I ordered a lame burger which the bread was a little bit dry otherwise plats in other sections are really delicious ! Service is okay. Waiters are not all the time available even though there was not too many clients in the restaurant. Ordered two beer and both of them are out of stock...and I was recommended to try some cocktails..
M. L.
Great cocktails and food, friendly stuff, nice atmosphere!
K. E.
Came for a bottomless brunch and the service from Chloe was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure our time spent here was 10/10. Thanks Chloe!!
S. G.
We had the Bottomless Brunch at £29.50 per person - unlimited cocktails for 2 hours plus a bit of food. We managed to cram in 7 cocktails each plus a burger so it was good value for money, given that the cocktails are priced at £9 each of out of the brunch deal. I was also surprised at how big and tasty the burger was! Would recommend 👍
C. F.
Excellent.
Service a bit slow, sent a bottle of Prosecco without even complaining.
Top food, top service.
N. D.
Our waitress Abi has been so helpful at recommendations for drink and food and we will definitely return. The cocktails are amazing and the food is to die. Highly recommend turtle bay, great friendly atmosphere 😊

Had a great evening being served by Sophie, her service was excellent. Drinks came extremely fast and were amazing on the 2-4-1

Spectacular! All round quality food and lovely staff! I recently now visit Manchester weekly and i will be stopping in each time I come for the wonderful bottomless brunch! Such tasty cocktails for 2 hours would be ridiculous not to partake... I have only been twice so far, but I will always be back from now on. The food is for my return! Such delicious
vegan options! but the pleasant staff make it even worthwhile. On my first visit the lovely Owen and Wes took care of me and my girlfriend and made it such a delightful experience sadly they were not working on my secound visit, however the remarkable Hank welcomed us a sincere gentleman. even offering detailed education that comes with there deal on rums. All the other staff I briefly encountered generally seemed to be enjoying themselves in there workspace and the lovely jaqob was so patient and helpful to us. This is now my regular and I recommend it to anybody seeking tasty food relaxing people and a good time. A fantastic place to date. Maximum respect.
Love from Joel and Ellie.
I.
Had a great meal with my partner today. Genny was an excellent waitress out drinks and food came out quick!! Thanks Genny
R. C.
The food and atmosphere were good. Food was fresh, very tasty and cleanly served. Menu choice very varied and happy hour kicks in at 9.30 Sun to Thurs so got very lively at 9.29 😁. Service was very attentive, and friendly although over attentive at times, and always accompanied with a drinks enquiry! Mix up over dessert and utterly disgusting coffee however, no fuss in sorting both and refunding the coffees on bill. Prices were very good too, 3 courses, 2 alcoholic drinks, 2 soft £58 total. Def recommend but NOT the coffee, avoid that completely!
E. M.
First time visiting Turtle Bay and it was fantastic. Abi's service was first class, friendly and she ensured we really enjoyed our visit. Would recommend to anyone visiting Manchester. I will definitely be back. Food and cocktails are amazing
C. A.
Wow, great food, service and an amazing atmosphere
E. L.
Loved our waitress Lucy. Always on it with getting the drinks served promptly. Actual bottomless brunch was brilliant.
A. M.
Hannah was ace. Kept checking on us and was super nice all around. Defo recommended for bottomless brunch.
F. S.
Mia is a top girl, couldn't do enough for us for my sisters hen do. Will defo be coming again xx
M. L.
For me the food is not the main attraction, as in cone from a Jamaican background I know what the real deal should taste like. That being said the 2-4-1 cocktail give it a few marks in my book.
The venue is cool and the staff are always friendly.
G. E.
Fantastic ribs, prawns and Jerk chicken.
J. C.
Hannah has been so lovely looking after us, very on it with our drinks orders and always smiling 😊
A. P.
Turtle Bay never disappoints. Amazing food, nice chilled music, great environment and staff. Must try. Oh and don't miss out on those cocktails.

The place is nice, it has good music and from what I have seen a wide range of cocktails. The food was okay and the people who served us were really polite and knew how to engage. What I did not really like was that we had to wait a lot at the entrance to have a sit even though there were free tables. We wanted to sit ourselves but we were told that we had to wait for someone to lead us.
J. P.
Amazing food & drinks, thank you to Harriet for the amazing service and to Olly for the great drinks. Will definitely be returning!
B. T. H.
Out with the boys for Caribbean food tonight !!! A £12 for 2-course meal is a real deal 💪👏🤤 ... perfect for cold 🥶 & windy 🌧💨 night in Manchester 🇬🇧💂♀️🙇♂️😉.
s. p.
Quite spacious, good music and great offers. Visit this place for an amazing variety of tropical cocktails.
A. R.
My all time fav place…food amazing, cocktails to die for
K. S.
Such a lovely brunch, Mia was an absolute gem, the best hostess !! ✨✨
S. L.
My partner and I visited the other day and to be completely honest the place is horribly understaffed. Now, I'd like to say that the food itself is brilliant and the cocktails are on point but there were occasions we'd be waiting in excess of 45 minutes for a drink.
We would like to give a huge round of applause to one member of staff inparticular however; a woman named April seemed to be driving the whole floor and was a breath of fresh air during our visit. Not only did she go above and beyond to assure we had a good time but she also particularly friendly, incredibly helpful and very professional.
Overall a pleasant venue with great food and cocktails. Simply more staffing needed however.
B. W.
Excellent service, happy friendly staff. Good great large selection of cocktails
R. O.
Served by Owen great server very fast service would recommend!!! Boozy brunch amazing
E. M.
Sophie was an excellent host- would highly recommend the bottomless brunch!
V. C.
Nice food with very friendly and helpful staff! Happy Hour is 2-4-1 and pretty much all the time, which is great, and the drinks are tasty! Food is spicy, but not too bad, and the meat is all delicious. Not a great range of veggie options, but other than that a pretty vast menu.
T. R.
2 for 1 cocktails in happy hour, great! First time I've eaten there.. lovely. Recommend baby ribs to start and the trini curry. Fabulous service out waitress so friendly and helpful. I've marked it down as the toilets were quite disgusting. Half the toilet seats were missing and it smelt very unclean... authentic shanty town toilets maybe???
A. f.
Nelly was an absolute welcome. Asking us if we needed more and constantly thinking on ball at all times. Absolutely trooper!
A. S.
Lovely food and drinks. Our host, Abi, was friendly and ensured we had an overall great experience at this restaurant! Will definitely come back again :)
G. O.
Jolly place with good service. Fish fritters a little salty but nice. Spiced fries are good. Nice atmosphere and music
M. B.
This is such a nice place to chill. Good music & 2for1 cocktails what more does anyone want 😁
S. K.
Callum rocks at turtle Bay!
Had an amazing time with family and friends after graduation. + delicious food.
Come and grab yours!
I.
Cocktails and food on point, had a burger (shack stack) which was just perfect, a good hangout spot especially when that 2-4-1 happy hour is on. You get what you pay for 😉
P. N.
Came today for drinks and food. Staff couldn't have been any better, efficient, friendly and helpful! Food was tasty and good choice of cocktails!
M. H.
Came in here on Sunday and was served by the lovely Alysha and Millie, they were so warm and welcoming with their smile and great customer service. We had the 2-4-1 Tingalings which were so refreshing and then had the Jerk Tray to share which was delicious, tasty and very filling, I cannot wait to come back. It’s so relaxed and chill too, couldn’t ask for a more perfect Sunday afternoon x
D. G.
Bottomless brunch was great. Lovely burger and cocktails. Speedy service by brilliant server called own who made us feel welcome and suggested good cocktails. Will return
T. M.
Amazing time at Turtle Bay, they were extremely accommodating and we received first class service from Joselyn ❤️
K. W.
We were served by Jacob who was great!! He made sure to always check we had enough drinks, and recommended drinks based on our individual tastes!! We came from Leicestershire and it definitely made our experience what it was!!
C. N.
Went for bottomless brunch on Bank Holiday Sunday. Was very busy, staff friendly and helpful. Food lovely..only thing to let it down was the delay on the cocktails. Spent a while waiting for them to be delivered to the table.
L. S.
Had an amazing time with my mates, loved the drinks and food plus brill service from Sophie!!!
I. W.
Visited on a busy Saturday night, bar staff were keeping up with crowds well enough and bussers were keeping the tables clean and clear. Love the decor and the music.
H. A.
Abi delivered a 5 start experience and the bottomless brunch is the one. Peace out.
L. C.
Absolutely amazing customer service! I live 250 miles away in Bournemouth and i rang for them to locate my dad in the restaurant to do something for me and the guy i spoke to micheal was brilliant did what i asked ( which he didn't have too ) and then even rang me back to say he did it . I can't thank you enough during these hard time's and you certainly put a smile on my face and my dad's before he flys out from Manchester airport tomorrow. Excellent customer service 💜 .
Turtle bay you have a keeper in micheal 💜👍🍺
T. W.
Great atmosphere. Really tasty food. Friendly service from our waitress April. We will be back.
A. C.
Been here multiple times and been served by Chloe most times - she is an absolute asset to your company!! Great service, always has a great energy and really welcoming. Gives the best mystery drinks!!! 5 stars for Chlo !!!
A. M. P.
Bottomless brunch experience wasn't the best, there were times when we waited 25 minutes for our drinks, we managed to order, receive and eat the food and still nothing. The food was extremely bland as well. I'd probably try it again on a quiet day
P. N.
Friendly service, good menu, tasty food at a reasonable price, what's not to like?
A. S.
Joselyn is a lovely waitress, the restaurant is full of good vibes and the cocktails are lovely
V. K.
Always great food and drinks. We tend to go during happy hour as it is great value.
L. P.
Millie our waitress was amazing nothing was too much to ask for
N. Y.
Perfect place for cocktails, you're better off with 2-4-1 happy hour > bottomless brunch unless you can drink more than 6/7 drinks in the given time.
Food again is disappointing, probably won't ever sample the menu again as we had to send the ribs back.
M. S.
Great atmosphere, attentive staff and great food and cocktails
M. S.
The food was delicious, lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The jerk Tofu was really good!
c.
Monday nights seem to be quite quiet, would recommend paying a visit then if you aren't one for busy venues, as this place can get busy! Prime location, and great food means that it's often in demand. Might want to hook in advance for Friday-Sunday visits.
S. M.
Fantastic atmosphere, great beer, gorgeous food and the staff are spectacular.
Next time I'm in Manchester will definitely be back. Breakfast sounds perfect.
Enjoy.
j. r.
Amazing service by Hannah was very well looked after during our bottomless brunch
E. B.
Went for a bottomless here for my birthday, our waiter Owen was very attentive, didn't even need to call him over (it was almost like he could read our minds). Got in a bunch of cocktails couldn't ask for more. We were so pleased with the service I had to run to a cash point to give him a proper tip
M. N.
Great service from Hannah. Great food from the Chef. Will be back 😁
R. S.
A+ The place was great, Mellissa the waitress was fab!
L. S.
Fantastic for a long overdue girls night out. Two for one cocktails and good food.
Watch out for the added voluntary service charge on the bill. Didnt realise I had paid an extra £15 until I got home. But apart from that it was great.
M. L.
For me the food is not the main attraction, as in cone from a Jamaican background I know what the real deal should taste like. That being said the 2-4-1 cocktail give it a few marks in my book.
The venue is cool and the staff are always friendly.
V. K.
Always great food and drinks. We tend to go during happy hour as it is great value.
S. “. H.
Served by Abi, would DEFINITELY be coming back!! Especially if served by her again, absolute perfection!
T. H.
Special theme and decoration. I ordered a lame burger which the bread was a little bit dry otherwise plats in other sections are really delicious ! Service is okay. Waiters are not all the time available even though there was not too many …
J. O.
Excellent food and drink. I've eaten out at this establishment several times and have never had a bad meal.
L.
Amazing drinks and staff! Joselyn was especially amazing and friendly! makes it worth returning!
M. M.
Shout out to Jacob! Brilliant customer service ⭐️
k. m.
was served by bleoma she was amazing every time a drink was empty she would come over asking if we wanted another, 10/10 service 10/10 drinks loved it
T. R.
Mia was lovely and very attentive and the food is really nice
B. R.
Fantastic food lovely staff with great customer service has a really nice atmosphere day or night
E. G.
Came here for a solo lunch and had the vegan grill down which was delish. Elizabeth was SO attentive, fast, attentive and very funny. She made my lunch into a great experience!
J. S.
Spent about £80 there last night we had 5 round of cocktails which varied from good to average, I thought they were abit weak if I'm being honest.
We had prawns and pit wings, prawns and wings were good alothough we diddnt get any cutlery to eat them with but the pati we got with the prawns was not cooked.
Main meals were good if abit dry we had the half chicken and the buttermilk chicken. Drinks took a long long time to come
J. M.
Great drinks and service, everyone very kind and a great night out. Joselyn was an amazing waitress.
M. “. P. B.
Appreciate that there is a staff shortage and things are strange right now. We had made a booking but still had to queue for about 20 mins. Service was slow and some drinks warm. Great atmosphere though and wouldn't prevent me returning.
A. B.
Abi was absolutely amazing. Cocktails and food are stunning! The vibe is fab. Overall 10000/10
J. S.
Had a lovely birthday brunch, served by Melissa. Excellent service .
C. C.
Very nice brunch and burger set. Will visit again!
G. F.
Chloe is absolutely fantastic. We travelled down from London for a girls week and booked in for a bottomless brunch.
Chloe, your beautiful blonde waitress; served us with fun, personality and honestly made our experience. She’s a fantastic member of your team, cannot emphasise that enough. She knows the menu back to front, was great for recommending items and drinks and was so attentive - as someone who works in hospitality - you’re so lucky to have her! 10 stars if I could, food and drinks were gorgeous. Will 100% return if we come back to Manchester xxx
k. m.
was served by bleoma she was amazing every time a drink was empty she would come over asking if we wanted another, 10/10 service 10/10 drinks loved it

Sophie was a great waitress, really good service lovely girl
E. J.
Had a lovely Sunday Bottomless brunch with a friend. Looked after by Ella who made the experience just that much better 💞
J. G.
First outing after lockdown with the hubby at the Oxford Road restaurant. We were served by Kera who was amazing throughout. Nothing was to much trouble for her, she made us feel very welcome and she was very polite and friendly.. Food and cocktails were amazing! Looking forward to our next visit..
k. w.
Great atmosphere 241 cocktails, happy days, service was a bit slow though, other than that no issues, food looked amazing
C. E.
Great food, great service! Shout out to Wes @ Turtlebay Oxford Street Manchester!!!
A. B.
I dine in this great spot quite a bit! This is the best place to have a bite. I go to this spot regularly. The meals are excellent, the staff members are polite and the prices are good. I like being in this spot to have a tasty meal.
P. C.
Loved this place for a late afternoon bite to eat and cold beer. Relaxing atmosphere and streets ahead of the place next door.
J. G.
Popped in for drinks on the way back to our hotel. Cocktails were great and the music was cool. Wish we had come in for food earlier as the menu looked good as well and quite a few people were still enjoying a meal when we came in.
R. P.
Great service from Sophie and nice drinks.
S. O.
Lovely food, great choice of drinks! Great, fast and friendly service!
C. T.
Nice atmosphere inside. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The starters were very good and a highlight. I found the Jerk Chicken (main course) to lack flavour. I was expecting a lot more. The side of sweet potato fries was quite small. My partner had the fish fry and enjoyed it but would nice to be able to swap out fries for a salad on that dish (we only thought of this while eating it so didn’t actually ask about it). The watermelon drink prepared in house seemed really fresh and worked well with anything fried. We also had the ginger beer which was decent as well. Would go back and try a curry or burger but wouldn’t get our above mains again.
D. S.
Abi, our host was friendly and attentive she ensured we had a great experience our food and drinks were delicious.
k.
The starter we had was sweet corn fritters with sweet chilli sauce and sweet potato fries. My husband enjoyed his jerk salmon fish & rice with salad. I had jerk Tofu rice & salad. Tofu tasted bland when one bite into it except for rice & salad.
P. P.
Mia was soooooo friendly and absolutely amazing
deffo coming again
T. G.
Great ambiance and good cocktails. Food is average.
A. L.
Lovely staff, nice food and drinks. It is quite loud and can be quite busy. Food arrived less than 5 minutes, cancelled drink as felt it took half hour or more to arrivexnever got it. Also heads up,a lot of spice as expected with Caribbean kitchen.
a. d.
Good place, amazing location. Alex was great. Liked the food and drinks.
J. O.
Excellent food and drink. I've eaten out at this establishment several times and have never had a bad meal.
J. H.
My first time at Turtle Bay and I loved it! The atmosphere was great, very relaxed, great music. The food was amazing - jerk chicken was so tender and full of flavour. Fantastic cocktails and the service was brilliant! I will definitely be visiting again.
J. R.
This is a great spot to get some really good food in Manchester. I had the Trini curry chicken, so flavorful...yum!
M. O.
Amazing food and even better cocktails. Recommended to reserve a table as it becomes quite busy
L. S.
Not really what I was looking for. I felt as though the taste of the jerk chicken was compromised by the heavy charring of the chicken. Was a great experience non the less. The vibe of the different chairs and layout really takes you away from the fairly industrial type area that its hidden amongst. All the waiters and waitresses clearly work hard to be very good at they're job!! Would recommend as a place for Happy Hour too, the 2 for 1 on drinks is undoubtedly a good deal considering cocktails are about £7 as it is
A. B.
Abi was an absolute DELIGHT 💕 💞 Complete sweetheart that really brought ah energy to the table and really made my birthday. Thank you so much Abi! 💓 Thefood&boozewasgreattoo. 😉
A. M. C.
Came here for a couple of drinks and food for the first time, can easily say it was the best burger I’ve had around here. Lovely servers especially April, amazing service, highly recommended :)
S. C.
Great brunch, service started off slow then Owen took over our section and he was fab! Very on the ball, great food and cocktails, the burgers are insanely good! We will be back! We visited Oxford Rd branch in Manchester.
M. J. B.
We had our staff night out at your restaurant. We enjoyed the foods what we ordered and we also tested most of your cocktails. Thank you.
Also I'd like to say thank you to Marika ( polish, blond lovely beautiful lady) our waitress i hope,i got her name right. She was approachable, kind, helpful and patient. She always smiled and made our night special with her kindness. Thank you!
W. D.
The food and drinks were great, but what made it worthwhile was the level of service given to us by Alex. We really enjoyed our visit here and look forward to when we can return when it’s open inside.
M. M.
Sorry not impressed with the cocktails, Revelation De Cuba a lot better. Toilets need updating not clean toilet rolls on floor,
P. H.
Food was nice. Good experience.
J. P.
Always fun and lively in there. Good quality food, love their curry goat. Good selection of cocktails, usually nice clientele... Can get extremely busy and noise. Best time to go from 5:30pm to 7pm, if you want to be able to chat.
A. F.
Not the best, but not the worst Turtle Bay franchise I've been to. Generally, food and service we're very good. The food is normally better, but understandably, some things may not be as easy to source given current pandemic. Ice cream had clearly been defrosted and refrozen (gritty texture). However, the main courses were as good as always.
d. a.
Food wasn't that Great. I'm of Jamaican origin and I can tell you that it's over priced for what it is. The service was excellent welcoming and professional. I'm fortunately you need another chef. One star for food and three stars for great service
A.
I had a brilliant time here, everything was just right. The music was great, the food was great, the staff were great, everything was just great! I was there on a Friday night and it was completely packed. They have a two for one offer on cocktails; this is great if you drink but not so much if you don't- their mocktails aren't in the offer. They're still great though!
As it was a Friday and our party of 11 hadn't booked, when we got hungry and decided to eat finding a table to be an inconvenience for the staff. However, they managed to find a spot for all of us with minimal fuss. The food was also great, I had the ribs with rice and peas and it didn't disappoint at all. In addition, the general atmosphere was excellent, from the music to the decor.
Overall I had a great time and I would definitely go back!
P. O.
Great atmosphere, great food, great vibe and great service. Chloe was an absolute star! Cheerful and helpful service! Made our last night in Manchester a treat!
N. B.
Brilliant brunch! Excellent staff! Katie kept us topped up nicely. Nothing too much trouble!
J. W.
The best food out of the 3 turtle bay restaurants I've been to, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere all day round. The quality of the food is amazing and the flavours of the one pots are great. The portion sizes are perfect for me, enough to fill me up with a starter and a main, not being able to eat anymore. The presentation of the food is great too, and fits the vibe of the restaurant perfectly with the rustic pots and dishes. Overall a great restaurant and an amazing experience.
M. (.
This is really well cooked food, we ordered jerk chicken, rice, spiced chickpeas, plantain, mac and cheese (which has hot chilli in, so beware) and sweet potato fries. It's all very good.
The wine we ordered (a pint noir) was surprisingly quite good for a chain restaurant.
Wasn't busy when we were there so couldn't say about service. It was fine when essentially empty.
s. n.
Bit more with food portion sizes don't be stingy 😉😉, great cocktails, awesome atmosphere.. Definitely come back
E. S.
Met some friends here for dinner one night!! We had lots of food and drinks and the staff had no problem keeping up with us! The food was great and the drinks were even better!
H. P.
Lovely vibrant place. Came on a Monday for drinks, so was quite quiet. Didn't have food, but had a sneaky peak at the menu and it was all your traditional carribean foods. Dry reasonably priced too. Will defiantly have to try as food coming from the kitchen looked good.
G. P.
Excellent during happy hour, two for one cocktails is worth it and will get you ready for the night. Food is also decent, but maybe a bit loud, depends if you like that or not. Music is always on point anyways.
Food wise, Doubles are a good low key starter. And I think Trinidad curry is my fave main, but most of it is good to be fair.
A. R.
We went to turtle Bay on 24th of Nov for the very first time. We enjoyed the meal and the service was excellent will be going again 5star
R. A.
Lovely cocktails
Great staff and service
Good music
S. N.
A lovely selection of Jamaican food beautifully prepared and presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful in terms of bringing the allergen information (for eating Gluten Free), and we had a great meal. Would definitely recommend, and will be returning!
N.
If you're a fan of Turtle Bay, it probably mean you are looking for that perfect blend of a bar and restaurant. This particular Turtle Bay does one thing exceptionally well; the music around the bar pretty loud and really gets you in the mood to party and drink. However, in the restaurant/dinning area the music wasn't so loud and you could have a conversation quite easily without having to should. Top marks for that.
The down side is that neither the food or the cocktails were good enough. Certainly not compared other Turtle Bays I've been to. The staff at the bar could have been more friendly too. I mean it's supposed to be a happy place right?
T. M.
Great atmosphere friendly staff lovely food
L.
Amazing drinks and staff! Joselyn was especially amazing and friendly! makes it worth returning!
P. D.
The place is very nicely decorated, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The food list is quite complete with lots of different and interesting dishes, mostly made of curry, rice and fish or meats such as goat. They also have a selection of cocktails and happy hour from 23 to 00.
The cons of this place are mainly the price, which is quite high given that the ingredients are rather humble for most of the dishes, and also the staff, which although being friendly took a lot of time to order and serve the food.
Also there was one thing I disliked, and it was that there's an extra charge for groups larger than 5, which annoyed me a bit given that the service wasn't better because of that.
S. M.
Loved it, was extremely busy but staff were very accommodating. Food was really good and a great atmosphere about the place
R. H.
Awesome food, great cocktails, cool atmosphere, can get very busy.
E. H.
We go here quite often on work lunches and happy hour after work and it is really good value. The staff are always really attentive and friendly. Pulled pork is delicious as is the Jerk chicken. Its the only Jamaican restaurant i have eat in so hard to compare, but i have enjoyed everything i have eaten.
Great choice of cocktails and really nice atmosphere!
G. H.
We were looking for something mildly exotic around the corner adn we ran into Turtle Bay. Based on the reviews we were expecting nice ambience and average food. Surprisingly the food was actually pretty good I really liked the curry Salmon and the Jamaican Mule cocktail was also a bliss. The ambience was great however it is not for romantic chitchat due to the loud music. The servers were helpful, but either they are understaffed or it was too busy time we had to wait a bit for the bill for example. All in all a please t surprise.
G. H.
Good service, food okay.
C. A.
Great Caribbean restaurant with really well done decor. I had the curry goat and a few happy hour cocktails. The cocktails were great and so was the food. My curry could have been spicier but they had a variety of hot sauces to add some oomph. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
A. G.
Great drinks and even better service by my favourite waitress Joselyn!
P. V.
Abi was very nice and had a good sense of humour. She explained everything very clearly! Nice vibe
I. C.
We had nice drinks and a good time, thanks to Abi for the great service.
N. P.
Fun place for funky cocktails and Caribbean food
S. “. H.
Served by Abi, would DEFINITELY be coming back!! Especially if served by her again, absolute perfection!
J. C.
Had a lovely jerk tofu dish with a side of sweet potatoes fries and the boyfriend had a chicken burger with fries. We both really loved our food. I also liked the turtle Bay cider I had, sweet and went well with the spicy food. Decor is lovely and same as the one in the Northern Quarter. Reasonably priced and dead convenient next to Peters Square tram line, buses and train station.
M. A.
Excellent food, at a simply terrific price. It is possible to have a huge plate/bowl of food for under £10 here. Then add a very long cocktail happy hour everyday... and you've got yourself a bargain. Friendly and efficient staff is the icing on the cake.
D. E.
I've not been to Turtle Bay for a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised at the new menu - they now serve small bits, allowing you to order sides/plates in groups of 3s, 5s etc. This is great if you cant decide or are eating with a group of people.
The new menu is also really great for vegetarians and vegans especially - there are many vegan friendly options, not just vegetarian options with the cheese removed.
R. B.
Good value food and something different
C. T.
4 of us are here from the East Anglia region for a few days . We decided to have Caribbean food it was delicious. 3 had goat curry I had chicken would recommend this place to eat. Great food great value and very tasty.
D.
We had a very good time. With a group of friends, celebrating a special occasion. Wait staff were attentive and all in a nice afternoon. Some of the food was a bit spicy but in the main, all good.
S. P.
Food was great, service was excellent. However the 45-50 minute wait for my main course on a quiet Tuesday night was not amusing. Despite the waitress apologising for the delay, it still took 15 or 20 more minutes. Not necessary.
A. G.
Go in the afternoon for great Caribbean food, go at night for amazing cocktails at decent prices - two for £7.50 during happy hour means you can't go wrong! The service at the bar can be rather slow sometimes but the cool atmosphere (love the music!) makes up for it
B. U.
Nice cocktail prices. 8 pound for 2.
C. H.
I went to Turtle Bay for the first time on Monday evening and loved it! The staff are very friendly and willing to help. I had some of the happy hour cocktails which were delicious and served quickly being made in front of me and my friend (they were also very well priced). The atmosphere is also very nice with the ceiling of lights - i didn't get to try the food but I'll be back soon!
A. K.
Go here often for food and drinks as its a two minute walk from work - haven't tried loads on the menu but the 'small plates' are really good value, good size for lunch and the service is quick enough to pay a visit on your lunch hour. The atmosphere is always good and the staff are really helpful. It's bright and colourful and there's always plenty of room for big groups!
J. J.
Happy hour.....went for the 2 for 1 cocktails except you can only buy two the same. Great if you all want the same drink or want to stack them up! Otherwise cocktail was good. Could do to have more snacky things on the menu to go with early evening drinks.
T.
Came in for bottomless brunch, good value for money and an excellent server in Amy who made sure we got what we needed 👍👍
B. T.
Love the 241 cocktails available at times during the day. The goat curry is epic and comes highly recommended. We do like to come to Turtle Bay if we're looking for somewhere to eat when we are in town as we know the service will be decent as will the food.
V. S.
2 for 1 cocktails are a must.
H. R.
This place is fine. There is a good atmosphere although not sure why we have to sit in the dark and shout at each other beyond 8pm. Good range of drinks and an exciting menu, however food portions are small and the taste is nothing special. I am underwhelmed everytime I visit. The staff are friendly enough but a bit lazy and careless when serving. My friend and I had food juice and drinks sloshed all over our jackets on the backs of the chairs...eww! Not convinced it is worth the price.
R. S.
The food here seems pretty average.. i had grilled chicken and rice with a fruity twist which didn't really add much to the dish. The cocktails were again pretty average. Mass produced in twos for the happy hour so presentation was not up to much, you could also get one really strong or really weak one depending on how lucky you are, no measurements here. Some beautiful people in there though, jaws to the floor kind of girls and the kind of men they'd go home with. Huge difference from the wetherspoons next door! I'd only go again if I was single.
Y. Q.
The cocktails are really good & customer service is great. The food however isn't as top notch. Will still recommend though.
N. N.
Visited here with a group of friends after 10pm on a Friday evening, it was quite busy but we found a little spot and took advantage of the two-for-one cocktails "happy hour" offer. Unfortunately for me, as a non-drinker, the mocktails aren't two-for-one, but I found they had a good selection and they weren't too expensive. I liked the music and the atmosphere and am making plans to go back to try out the food!
G. H.
Amazing restaurant chain, great food fabulous cocktails and a generous happy hour
k. 1.
Very busy and loud, but it was packed on a Friday night 2 weeks after opening inside. Drinks took a while to come as didn't the food, but the food was great, as were the staff.
J. M.
The feeling of this restaurant is very commercial, its much bigger inside than you'd think looking at it from the street. I was thus expecting the food to not be as 'authentic' however I was pleasantly surprised! Had Jerk wings to start, which were very tasty - although they really packed a punch in terms of spice. I then had another chicken dish for main, less spice but plenty of flavour still.. I will go back and would recommend
A. F.
Nice atmosphere despite it being a lunchtime visit. Good range of food and drink with veggie and vegan options.
P. J.
Had lovely food with good company and cocktails really enjoyed my night xx I will be back very soon
B. K.
Delicious food at slightly-inflated-but-not-too-bad prices. Very passable cocktails on a two for one deal at most times. Actual Ting for your R&T treats. Good service and festive décor. What's not to like?
M. C.
Portions are a little inconsistent but generally always good. Nice non-meat alternatives and lovely dessert and drink options. The atmosphere is usually quite fun and relaxed. I am a regular. They also offer takeaway. The restaurant is Jamaica jerk hut themed.
S. P.
Try mai tai punch..What a drink it is!😋❤️
B. S.
Great staff. Not long wait for any drinks.
A. d.
The food and service were great however the music was way too loud and our table could not hear each other speak
A. W.
Cocktail Happy Hours here are great! Probably tried most on the menu and can't pick a favourite! I haven't personally tried the food but I do know someone who was disapointed with the Goat Curry and felt it was bland. I will certainly be going to try the food myself soon though as always smells good in there!
S. D.
The food here is tasty and very reasonably priced. The actual interior of the restaurant has a real Caribbean feel to it and the staff help to create a laid back atmosphere.
There are a wide range of cocktails to enjoy but a word of warning for beer drinkers as there is only one lager on draught (Red Stripe).
T. G.
Service was great, really attentive staff. The manager, an Asian man, come over and had a chat with us which we thought was a really nice touch at our table. I had the Mo’Bay Chicken was gorgeous, so lovely and creamy :-) my friend had the goat curry which he gulped down so quick because it was sooo nice. The Tingaling’s are brilliant, so nice and tasty that we had to get a second round. All in all, we will be back. Kudos Turtle Bay

If you're looking for somewhere a bit different, this may be the place for you. It specialises in Caribbean food, so expect spicy flavours. Drinks are expensive, and service at the bar is slow. Food is tasty, but expect to get a bit messy as there's lots of meat on the bone, and battered lumps of spicy stuff. Not much atmosphere and quite chilly, so in the winter months you'll find space heaters providing additional lighting and warmth.

Felt the portion size was a bit on the small size. And the deserts that we chose from the website where not being offered. However, the food was nice the drinks where great and it had a great atmosphere.

Great place to go. The food is amazing and the wife loves the cocktails

Goat curry is amazing. Best chicken wings I have had in a loooooong time. Full wings as well, not this fiddly little wings. These are from full grown chickens. Get them in the jerk sauce, you won't regret it.

Food great. Happy hour cocktails great. Liz and Abi great. 7/7 would recommend.

Lovely place cocktails food on deals

Lovely watermelon slush. Gf menu was a huge file so felt awkward asking and searching. No salmon on so had goat curry. Very spicy and fatty. Sons burger also very spicy

Great place!
Tasty drinks with the 2 for 1 offer until 7pm. Good and reasonably priced food too.
The venue has additional chairs and tables upstairs with some board games.

Food isn't great but the atmosphere was nice. I believe being an actual Caribbean man makes it extremely difficult to relate to the menu... but, whatever makes other's happy i suppose is fine.

Fantastic evening, with good food. Perhaps not the mouth authentic Carribbean experience, but fun non the less.
Really enjoyed the connect 4 games and Jenga. Also, the staff were very helpful organising a birthday surprise for one of our party.

Cocktails were amazing as always! Food was nice, mac n cheese was pasta with melted cheese on top though and service to take our orders was really slow and had to ask to be served.
M. W.
we had an ace time chloe was amazing and never kept us waiting for a drink

Go during happy hour (until 7pm) for 2-4-1 rum based cocktails - delicious! The theme is carribbean with curried goat, dumplings, salted fish and chicken all on the menu. I chose the curried goat which was the perfect level of spice without needing a fire extinguisher. Great atmosphere- if you do just want bar service it can be quite slow as its such a popular place so i prefer to have my cocktails with a meal.

When this previous Lloyd's Bar reopened as s Caribbean food joint I was hesitant, but after my 3rd time eating there I can say it's definitely a top choice for great food! The menu is vast and the prices surprisingly reasonable! Along with a great Happy Hour, this island themed restaurant is a must.

One of the nicest looking places. Food is on the upper tier as well.

Love this bar. They have the most amazing cocktails, which at a certain time are 2 for 1! I wouldn't recommend this place for the food per se, but with the drinks it's definitley worth the trip.

Lovely place, food good, cocktails fab! Staff really nice!

We had the curry goat and the jerk salmon with sides of jerk cheese fries and dumplings. They all were delicious. For dessert we had the ginger pudding and grilled pinneaple, which were ok. However, the ice cream was very good!

Yummy food and lovely friendly staff

Server Wes was really sound and helpful.

Food was lovely along with drinks and rather affordable. Personally recommend the White Carribean.

Been here a few times. Food was excellent as was the drinks. Had a bit of a delay with food due to them being busy and a mix up on orders. Manager was straight over to explain and was very polite and helpfull.

We've been to Turtle Bay in Nottingham and loved it, the food was amazing so I was looking forward to a return visit in Manchester after a theatre trip,. We were so disappointed with the food. I had the curry goat which was OK but the goat was a bit tough and chewy. I've had goat on numerous occasions before and always enjoyed it and it's been beautiful but not this time. My husband had a chicken dish which arrived with just a few pieces of chicken. The waiter did take it away and bring another serving but there wasn't much more and it was quite dry. We decided just to pay up and go, nit the best end to an evening.

Excellent service cocktails 2 for the price of one so worth it food delicious highly recommend

Food was lovely , staff great. Only criticism is the number of plastic straws being used. We decided to keep straw from first drink for rest of evening. Other turtle bay restaurants use paper ones so why not here too. Ironic that less plastic in the oceans will save the turtles!

I have been few times to Turtle Bay, and always had a good time. The food is really good, with good portions being served. The ambiance is always festive, and the staff there is really nice. My personal preference goes to Turtle Bay On Oxford Road, which I think is bigger than the restaurant in the Northern Quarter.

Half the drinks we actually wanted were unavailable and the outdoor area I was in seemed rather detached from the main section - almost felt forgotten. The busy traffic didn't help either
D. O.
Great place for a bottomless brunch. The day we went they were having issues with deliveries which would have heavily tarnished the experience, had the server Owen not made up for it with his great service. Top man 👍

First time visiting here the other week and I must say I've not had Caribbean food much before, but I absolutely loved the vibe here. Food smelt amazing from the street so went in and picked a veggie dish - it was delicious.

Served by Zoe, good waitress but this place clearly needs more staff, slight air of frantic ness about the place. Food was tasty well done kitchen staff. 3 stars because of lack of organisation from servers and bar staff.
K. S.
Amazing food and cocktails and brilliant service. Definitely would recommend

No words for how good this food was!

Food is amazing (chilli squid, pork ribs, corn fritters and Trinidad chicken curry last time). Bar gets crazy busy from around 6pm, always best to get served on the far right side I feel as in front of the doors is rammed. Last time went for a birthday, food came quite late but they gave us 50% off (wasn't so delayed that we noticed much yo be honest). Cocktails are nearlt all rum based, but the Bahamamama is amazing. Great venue, great look, great food, great atmosphere; just crazy busy.

Good samples of Caribbean food. I am a big fan of Jamaican jerk chicken and rice! Also good varieties of Caribbean style cocktails. Very friendly staff.

Lovely! April was a lovely server, and was very attentive and helpful during the meal,
C. B.
Good drinks but quite expensive. I enjoyed my cocktail bit had to wait a considerable amount of time to be served. People were pushing and shoving to get to the front and they only had one side of the bar open

This place is quite possibly the best thing to happen to Manchester in a long while. The door staff are brilliant - try not to fall for their 'no trainers' joke (I didn't even have trainers on! very gullible). The food is yummy and the 2-4-1 cocktails aren't to be missed. If you're looking for somewhere to eat nice food, listen to good music and drink tasty bevvies, this is definitely the place!
M. K.
Decent place good 241 cocktails in happy hour. Bit too hot they put really bright heater lights near our table very unpleasant if you're close to it.

First time visitor. Decor was nice. Atmosphere was lively. Food was okay

Food was nice and was cooked beautifully but the downside is that the food is just a bit to sweet.. If i had to pic this or my local carabian takeaway id pic the local.. Just because its too sweet and not enough favour

Love the atmosphere and food amazing

Booked here for my birthday on a Saturday night for 11 at 9pm. We waited around 20mins to be seated and ended up on two separate tables which I was a displeased about. They said they couldn't accommodate us or move tables because of 'health and saftey'. We ordered our food and one table ended up getting their food 20mins before another and I even had to ask where my food was before getting it. The staff were friendly but they did seem a bit frantic and disorganised. Apart from this I did really enjoy the food, the jerk chicken was very tasty, well cooked and seasoned with a nice kick. They also had 2 for 1 cocktails on after 10 so naturally had to partake.

Amazing food, even better cocktails!

Decent food. Where this place really excels is the staff, the deputy manager (Kieran I think) couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The bar staff were fabulous too.
S. B.
Really cool theme with music and everything. Five Alarm Curry Chicken one of the best hot curries I've ever had and a great Jamaican Pale Ale to boot
M. M.
Very good food
Very lively atmosphere
Great service by Joselyn

This is the best turtle bay in Manchester. Although I do think the other one is good this one has alot more room. Great music great atmosphere. The food is good but I do feel that the portion sizes since turtle bay has been opened both in this venue and the northern quarter venue have decrease in size.
Other than that I cannot fault it. The staff are amazing and their customer service skills are on point.

Absolutely my new haunt when I travel to the UK! I'd go especially for this place 😍Amazing food, cocktails and the music and atmosphere along with the lighting, I just love it! I'd highly recommend it 😉
L. H.
Fast food service and 2-4-1 offers on cocktails every day. I think it's 5-7pm and 10pm til close (happy hours). That's enough to keep me happy
D. T.
Great cocktails. We took advantage of the 241 menu at 10pm. Reasonably priced for cocktails. Good music. Nice staff
L. W.
Service was super fast even during the 2-4-1 cocktail hour.
The staff were polite and friendly.
Can't ask for much more than that!

Caribbean cuisine comes to Manchester! The menu is brilliant but I did find everything a bit too spicy for my taste - maybe the option to choose the level of spice that goes into your food might be useful.
The service is rusty at best but I am going to put that down to Turtle Bay still trying to find it's feet in Manchester. This should get better with time. Happy Hour starts at 12 in the afternoon and finishes only at 6pm - that is one good deal especially considering the rum based cocktails here are fab!

I'm a flight attendant. I've been to restaurants in 24 countries in the last 2 years. This is definitely in my top 5! Honestly! I think the menu is creative and the food is wonderfully flavorful. I just picked up a trip to Manchester from NYC JUST SO I CAN EAT THERE!
M. W.
Great place good vibe! Foods ok ,cocktails are strong
C. B.
Love coming here, everyone is so nice and the food and drinks are brilliant. Recommend all my mates to come here on there Friday's. 2 4 1 Is brilliant also, and when the 2 4 1 break is on, Weatherspoons is open next door, then when it comes back on, you go back to Turtle Bay. brilliant for Friday nights to save on pennies.

For a chain , the food was pretty good . Went for the curry goat . My go to food every time I eat new Carribbean food , was really good . Staff friendly and attentive . Nice lively place with good cocktail list
Y. H.
Food nice. Very poor service. 2 starters out of a party of 8 were delayed by 20 minutes. As a result we were at the table longer than they had planned. They then proceeded to tell that they needed the table for another party and were practically forcing us out. Would not go back. Disappointed.
A. S.
Service was amazing! Did a bottomless a brunch and the Service was so quick. Got so many drinks and food was great
M. C.
Really friendly service and awesome tasty food. The table sauces let you add a good kick of chilli and flavour to the food and there is a good atmosphere. Portions could be a little bigger for the money but still a good venue.
