Right from the start the staff where wonderful. We where seated quickly even tho they where very busy. Our order was taken quickly. Staff where very polite and friendly. The food we ordered arrived fresh and very well presented. Good portion size. I eat alot of sushi, this has to be the best sushi I have had in a long time. Very highly recommended! I will be back as soon as I can!

I am in Manchester for a conference, so decided to come a day early and spend some time exploring the city. I wanted to go and see the Bond film, but it was sold out, thankfully the Wasabi Sushi restaurant was opposite so decided to treat myself. It was nice to sit down, l had a warm welcome, good service and lovely food. There is something timeless watching the belt go round. It had all the favourites, though l did order egg fried rice, delicious along with miso soup and dumplings. 🍵 Ok it wasn't Bond, but a nice alternative. It's a small but friendly environment. 🍣 🍚

If you are looking for an authentic, japenese experience with the most incredible food then look no further. I have been here a lot over the years, as it's one of my favs, and I can honestly say i have never had a bad experience! The food is always made perfectly and well presented, the staff are welcoming and lovely, the ambience is super relaxed and whether you are having an intimate dinner for 2 or social gathering with mates - you will fit in! In terms of recommendations - Their Yakisoba noodles are just out of this world, the milk rolls (sushi wise) are some of the best things i've ever tasted and the sweet potato tempura is to die for! A side dish that compliments any meal!!

I come here twice a month and its my favourite restaurant ever. They never let me down and the food is always perfectly delicious. I am immunocompromised and this means that sushi is usually a risky food for me to eat. However, Wasabi has never made me sick because they are so clean! They are the only place i trust with my health. Furthermore we are recognizable regulars (my wife wears all yellow every day) This makes that we are treated with a lot of respect. And i give it back by coming twice a month to support them. And also writing this review with 5 stars will hopefully support them. Lastly and most importantly: the staff is always amazing and friendly. I would come here after a bad day just to see them! I recommend everybody who loves to eat good quality food and to be served by the most friendly people ever to eat here at Wasabi.

Less customers inside to accommodate pandemic laws. We were asked for names and number before being seated as well as a temperature check. Seated customers were separated with a plastic barrier. Sushi conveyor belt was not in use for obvious reasons. Just order from the menu and the item should be delivered to you.

Well I'm not one for sushi but my god this place was beautiful! Chose set menu 2 (£10.95) you get 3 bowls from the grey or orange menu and a main. Now the choice of bowls is huge, you do have to compare the menu to the bowls so you know what you're getting but everything is unique enough not to make an accidental mistake and take something you don't want. The mains are really good size and really filling. I will definitely visit again and recommend this place to anyone!

Very surprised . Sushi , you always think raw food , but there is a vast menu of also cooked foods. Wev been a few times now and loved it each time. We order from the £10.98 menu. This gets you a cooked main meal and 3 pots of sushi off the belt. It's great and worth a try . We left feeling full and tried foods we hadn't before. Wow! This is the best Ramen we’ve had in ages. We’ve tried many of the hotspots in London but this is our favourite so far. Great meal for our first night in Manchester! The surroundings are a little bit of a ‘mixed media’ with no real coherent style but the food more than made up for it. Miso was very good, Sushi was good (not amazing). Our kids loved it too. Service was polite and friendly. Will come again for the creamy, flavourful pork ramen.

I love wasabi, it's my go to sushi place. Its very cosy and atmospheric as compared to yo sushi for example which feels more western and corporate. Price wise, very good but sushi is inherently expensive so remember that if you disagree.

Amazing selection of sushi and other Japanese dishes. I had a kind of bento selection which I really recommend as you get a taste of lots of different dishes. Their udon is wonderful and the tempura was also comparable to what I had in Japan.

They also do good value takeaway platters for you to have at home. A great spot for a quick bite if you have a movie to get to, or stay a while and take your time over a delicious selection.

Very nice sushi bar in the centre of Manchester. We thought ourselves very lucky to happen upon it. The sushi on the belt has a good selection and, what's more important: you can order anything you fancy if it doesn't come through. Quite good selection of veggie dishes and sushi if that's your fancy. They also have a very good variety of Japanese dishes and quite generous portions. Nice and authentic Japanese dessert too. The staff is incredibly nice and the prices are very affordable and beyond reasonable. If only there was one like this in London! Beats Itsu, Wasabi and such any day of the week!

Went on a Saturday lunch time and managed to get a seat easily. They have a great deal where you get a select number of plates from the conveyor and a main dish (ramen, noodles, katsu etc) for £10. Dumpling ramen was good, sushi on conveyor was reasonably priced and lots of variety including tofu and other none fish options. Atmosphere is a bit quiet and dull but service was friendly and fast and food was tasty. Great value for money.

I'm a huge fan of this type of food and I love the atmosphere in here. It's very relaxed and I like sitting at the bench with the conveyor belt of food going past. I've ordered takeaway from here once before and it was really delicious, so I chose the same thing off the menu. I had the vegetable tempura with noodle broth. It was so tasty, I could eat this every week! The staff were friendly, it's great value and there's a huge variety of options from cold to hot food too. The lift upstairs to the bathroom was so bizarre, it's like a wheelchair lift I think? But you have to match the lift with a yellow line on the wall before the doors will open, very odd!

I am a frequent visitor of Wasabi and after sampling most of the Japanese restaurants in Manchester, I find myself going back to this establishment! The food is really good value for money (the set meals are more than enough needed, and have a really good choice to choose from!) The sushi is easy to choose from and delicious! The staff are friendly and helpful! (One staff member, Alan, is a lovely gentlemen and has served me on many occasions!) I recommend this restaurant to my friends and always make time to pop in if we are in the city!

I've always known Wasabi to be the cheaper cousin to the more upmarket sushi restaurants out there but only recently have I had the chance to give it a go. This branch is pretty decent in terms of size. The selection of sushi is good. Yes, the plates are cheaper than competitors but the portions are a bit hit and miss. Mostly, I felt they were smaller but then I am paying less too. Nonetheless, if you do go, I'd recommend the set menu/deals as they are certainly a steal!

Definitely an overhyped restaurant with the quality of food average at best. I ordered the beef udon noodles,the broth tasted like it came out an instant ramen package with its strong artificial beef flavour that lacked depth. When it came to the toppings the slices of beef were deceptively tender as they were sliced paper thin but still managed to be retain the texture of rubber tyres. Conveyor belt sushi was acceptable despite the oddly warm rice . Unfortunately,I would not reccomend coming to this place,go Shoryu for a much better bowl of ramen same price with superior quality.

Wasabi is described as "no-frills" but after visiting a few times I don't think that is really fair - the food is cheap but it's good, and the range is fantastic. The restaurant is laid out like a small Yo! Sushi with a sushi belt on the right and traditional seating on the left. TV's playing Japanese pop music are dotted around and the whole place has a predictably Japanese theme. The menu is pretty big with some excellent set menu deals where you get a main meal and either 3 or 6 items from the sushi belt for less then £10. Every time I've been the service has been fast, the food delicious, and the portions have been big enough to satisfy. On Sundays they do a deal where anything on the belt is just £1 and make sure you try the milk balls because they're wonderful.

Yes it is unfortunately in the Printworks but this is an awesome authentic Sushi spot with great priced meal deals on for lunch and dinner every day (usually about £11 for 6 plates or 1 main + 3 plates). Walk-in only, no reservations possible and there is often a queue.

Wasabi is a great Japanese restaurant in the Printworks. If you like Yo Sushi, you'll like this too, it's just cheaper! The sushi is good, but the main meals are better. Bit of a weird having to use a lift to get to the loos, but great otherwise, especially if you like Chinese pop music and can use chopsticks!

I think the food here is good value for money. They offer great set meals which include dishes from the conveyor and the kitchen for less than a tenner. There are a mixture of seats and tables for cater for individuals and groups.

Prawn nigri, katsu chicken (spicy), spicy tuna, cuttlefish sushi. These are my fav off the belt. Lunchtime offers are good and you need to eat a minimum of 3 plates ( obtainable for me) note if you order almond bubble tea it tastes heavily of marzipan. Taste was a bit strong for me but I held my nose and drank it to avoid waste but next time wouldn't order almond bubble tea. The TV plays Korean sassy pop. I like to watch
