Super delicious food !! They are like tapas size with a just inaugurated menu. Everyone has to give a try to taste different flavours all in one restaurant. Also vegan options. A nice place to have a drink and share with friends. Friendly staff

Been coming here to work for the last 2 weeks over the holidays. Fantastic atmosphere. Friendly staff, who always ask if everything is ok and if we need anything. Great Coffee to start my day. Loving this place as my new favourite local. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else!. Food is AMAZING and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend a visit.

So today we fancied a coffee and was going to go somewhere else. However, on our way we spotted this little gem. Deceptively bigger than you think. Decor inside is modern rustic and cosy. The staff are very helpful and there is loads on offer. We will return soon enough and have a meal and stronger drinks. Just feels a nice place to spend sometime.

September 2022: another photo & video update. The usual great Sunday Open Mic Night vibes! Such a varied mix of artists but also a few regulars too! May 2022: loving the Sunday vibes with Open Mic Night, organised by Taurud. Great artists performing an eclectic mix each week from 7pm., although live music starts at 5pm. Ends with a jam session. The highlight over the last couple of weeks has been Mark Shepherd on guitar and Psypirate Josh playing a Sitar. Some great vocals, harmonies and a little bit of spoken word.

Very good for coffee, lunch and dinner, and an asset to the Prestwich foodie scene. Really good, and a creative yet different menu is ideal for people who want a difference. It also caters for vegans, gluten free, vegetarians etc. and for me that's great. Service is laid back and friendly and there's lots of space especially now that they have built though to the space left vacant by Prestwich DIY. Recommended.

Decent cafe bar. It would be helpful if they had a drinks menu. They don't sell lemonade only Sprite. Which while similar isn't exactly the same. Which makes a difference in mixer drinks. Also they weren't flexible in offering an alternative when someone didn't want a cashew nut cream with their pasta. Atmosphere is pleasant and staff are efficient

As a Prestwich resident I was so excited to have Folk come here, as I love the one in Didsbury. The food on the photo below is their mushroom hash, so good with the sourdough. Went again yesterday and devoured their breakfast burrito, hence no photo as I was starving. The burrito was also very tasty, packed with black beans, egg and avocado. My only criticism is the price of the burrito at £8.95 which I thought was a little steep as the burrito came with no side and is relatively small. I paid the same price for the mushroom hash was definitely worth it. Looking forward to coming for some drinks one evening.

great drinks, kind bar staff, nice decor, not a big fan of the tables, the chairs are tiny which is bad for me as I am quite a big guy, heard some ghost noises towards the end which was quite weird but wont put it against them

Really good fish and chips. Potatoes were fresh and tasty. Fries on the side were not good though. A bit pricey, but worth it. Would be a good idea to close the gate to the beer garden to give some privacy from the main road.

Lovely place to visit for lunch and a chat. Lots of seating, a great menu and happy hour on cocktails. Nice beers, wines and a choice of milks with the coffee. Just what I needed.

Sunday Roast at this place and we genuinely thought we had either been given a kids portion or they forgot to bring out the veg! Nice medium beef, but 3 tiny roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding and some cabbage and that was it! £15 for that as well! Nice venue, just won’t go again to eat. Dont go here for Sunday lunch if you want to leave full, we stopped at shop on way home for snacks!

I really enjoy the food and drink here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Me and my friend sat outside as she felt more comfortable there. The outdoor seating is undercover which is great but there's no outdoor lights so we enjoyed our meal in the dark. Would prefer some lighting hence the 4 stars.

Friendly place with reasonable prices and a good menu. The food was good although our dish with avocado and feta was very short on feta. When we commented on this the manager was attentive and apologetic and took the meal off the bill. She said she would make sure the chef rectified this. I'm sure she will. Will visit again.

Went here after finding out solita shut. Food was pretty descent to be fair. Had my first visit for breakfast/brunch on a Saturday morning. Liking the decor and what was done with the bar, it looks great! Service unfortunately was quite slow, the food was a bit underwhelming - not very well seasoned and poached egg completely overdone. The server didn't even ask us what we thought of the meal. Would be happy to go back and try dinner menu though; hoping the service gets a little more polished.

It was our first experience of folk last night. Food was utter perfection, the chef can cook the sh*t out of a steak and his sticky toffee pudding was a treat that's hard to beat. Staff was amazingly friendly and attentive. We will be returning, thanks guys.

Nice trendy setting with great staff and service. Good selection of beers but relatively expensive. Interesting menu; small portions (presumably so you can fit more beer in) but appropriately priced.

Quite a nice bar. Spacious with a lot of nice wood panelling inside. Drink prices not too bad for Prestwich, but it's card only payments. Tables were quite sticky & dirty though with bits of food debris. They just needed a good wipe, but it's things like this which can put customers off. However we will come back again.

I always nay say with Prestwich as it's where I grew up - when people say it's up and coming I tell them it's been up and coming since the 70's and to stop kidding themselves that it's a didsbury/chorlton equivalent. I'm not taking that sentiment back- genuinely stop kidding yourselves, but this place is definitely a great addition. Great breakfast, surroundings, staff, music and general vibe. For the first time visiting somewhere in Prestwich I thought- you know what, I'd like to have a beer here in the evening. Top marks.

Visited today for brunch. Place is lovely, nice atmosphere and really nice staff. We ordered tea and a cappuccino which looked fab but was barely Luke warm but another was brought with no problem and with a smile. My daughter ordered a vegan breakfast which she said was good except for the faux bacon which, to me, looked like wood shavings, but I didn’t say anything however my daughter said it felt like she was chewing on wood! I ordered a poached egg sausage and bacon sandwich which came on a brioche bun. It looked yummy. However it was impossible to eat as a sandwich so had to be cut up, but the tiny saucer it was served on made it impossible to press down and cut and the imbalance almost tossed my poached egg over my shoulder and into the air conditioning unit behind me. The lovely waitress bought a nice big hot plate which solved this issue. To sum up. Place needs to be a bit warmer, plates bigger and less wood like veggie bacon. Everything else perfect 👌 wood go back. 😁

I found it a little over-priced, eg: club sandwich on sour dough bread with chips, as an extra, £12 on the brunch menu (just 8 chips) More bread than filling with the bread very difficult to chew! The lager was v good, the service v good too.

Lovely new place in prestwich, been in a few times for a coffee always been served by a lovely pleasent young girl behind the bar who I think was called Jade we did ask but i cant remember. Affter chatting with her and asking about the food menu and her telling us the wide variety of options we had for brunch and sunday lunch etc and how nice it was we decided to give it a go. It was lovely to hear someone who worked there saying nice things about the place and taking there time to explain there future plans for example the outside area and down stair bar. When we came in Saturday to try the food at the evening we asked a young lad behind the bar with dark hair for a table to 2 as he was stood doing nothing and the restraunt staff wasnt there he then decided to finish his conversation before actually getting us a table, he wasnt very welcoming atall and definatly a negative for the lovely place he talked to us like he was having a chat with his friends and like we were such an inconvinience as we interupted his chat in which he was moaning about work with another colleague. I know we all like a moan but not infront of paying customers. However never the less the food was amazing the service a little slow in the restraunt but they were all really friendly and was definatly worth the wait as everything was perfect. We decided to move on into the bar for a few drinks affter we had settled our bill, we were served by happy lad this time with longish curly hair lovely and chatty and very quick which he needed to be as the guy who seated us proceed to look like a spare part behind the bar watching everyone work. We stayed for a few but we were then served by the original bar tender again and decides to leave affrer that as his attitide and bad language behind the bar just had a negative impact on our lovely visit. Lovely place nicely decorated and Jade was so welcoming on our first few visits which made us come back and amazing food. Definatly would of been a 5 star however the experience with the rude staff knocked it down hopefully this was a one of and definatly will try again on a weekend and still go in the day for my coffee. Definatly an asset to prestwich however a little customer service training may be needed but overall great vibe.

The 3 stars are all for the lovely gezer who served us. That keto veggie guy who'd deserve 5 stars if the venue lived up to the hype. But........ We got put next to 5 rowdy Salfordian teen agers getting well drunk and loud. For a couple who want a bit of town centre close to home, this place is a bit too unsophisticated. Just check the replies by the owner a bit further down. OMG 🙄🙄😳😳😳😳😳 Won't be back any time soon. Sorry Rachel. You're lovely but this is gonna be a tough job.
