Have tried their lamb biryani for both takeaway and dine in. Nicely spiced biryani with fluffed light rice. Good packaging for takeaway. Helpful, happy people in the restaurant. Good start and keep the good work guys. Avoids using dried over cooked meat and keep the it consistent. Will be back.

Biryani Platter is A MUST HAVE. Quite simply worth every penny. We loved the biryani, cut mirchi and chicken fry. Comes also with gravy and raita (curd with salad) Those who love their spicy-ness, you will love it. I had to ask for extra curd, which was instantly shared (thank you Mr. Venkat). Dessert: Rasmalai. Without exaggeration, quite simply one of the best we've ever had at a restaurant. (Even when compared to Asia). The hosts are really courteous, welcoming and warm. Immediately suggest, attend and recommend. Thank you the experience.

We had the best time ever! The food is delicious - every item on the menu is a treat to have. We ordered the chicken lollipops and the non-veg thali. The lollipops were delicious and so flavourful. All the items in the thali were cooked perfectly. The staff is amazing, kind, and very friendly. They help you with everything and make your experience unforgettable! Would highly recommend the place!! Can't wait to go back again.

Ordered tandoori chicken starter today, and it was wowww… Have been there to dine-in quiet a few times and it has always been a great experience, just for less than £10 the gave like a handi full of biryani with authentic Hyderabad taste! Visited Biriyani in a box today. Very happy with the service we received and the food was delicious. Host was approachable, very friendly & welcoming The food was hot and cooked to the spice level request. Food was served quickly of much of a wait time. Very happy to have found this restaurant. Authentic Indian with a good varied menu choice coupled with a great service by host. The restaurant has a nice modern feel to it and is nice. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Highly recommended! The best biryani I've had, outside of Hyderabad. A new place with a lot of potential. The Paneer dishes and Biryanis are really good. The flavours were authentic and we finished the meal with one of the best Gulab Jamun I've had in ages. The restaurant has only been open for a few days and some of the menu items weren't available. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We look forward to coming back here again, very soon

Update, I have been here 3 times, food is improving but the pricing needs to be looked at, you will only get 5 pieces of meat for £9 Biryani. Firstly looked like it was in a Noodle box ?! Did I order a Chinese! Not easy to eat with the forks provided no spoons? Nice Biryani but £9 to take away. Not sure if it’s going to be a regular thing, spice levels were good but could have been better, but not enough meat more bones. Paying £9 I would have expected it to be boneless lamb, also need a separate queue for takeaway I was waiting ages to be given my food that got colder as I waited for them to take another order ! I will probably order again but won’t be rushing to come back at these prices. Invest in spoons and change the boxes , not easy to eat with a fork and that box with bones in it. More meat at least 9 pieces with 0 bones felt a little ripped off. If I get bones again I will need to rename them to ‘’Bones in a Chinese Box” would have liked it a little more spicy.

A nice quiet little restaurant with good decor, friendly staff and great food, if a little on the spicy side, even compared to other Indian restaurants in the area (but if you're not prepared for a little spice why have Indian food in the first place, right?). The only reason I drop a star is due to somewhat unclear menus (no mention of ingredients, relative spiciness, or portion sizes, for example), and the tables have been a bit wobbly the last couple of times we've visited, but otherwise it's a great little local restaurant we'll happily return to in the future.

Was staying nearby and searched for local places to eat this place came up and was recommended. As soon as you enter you can smell the food is fragrant and spicy and not one thing disappointed. Everything was clean tasty and professional. We were eating our starter within a few mins and it was well presented, colourful and tasty, the next tables food looked and smelt luscious too. We have ordered chicken biryani family pack which is sufficient for a family of 4. The rice is fluffy and they give enough chicken pieces, rice for 4 people. The look of the biryani is as same as Hyderabadi biryani but the taste no where matches Hyderabadi biryani. We are totally disappointed with the taste. There is no aroma of biryani and no taste of biryani. It's like white and yellow rice with a curry which has got no taste. Presentation of the food and packaging is just perfect and I can see there was a lot of thought process around it. Hope to visit again to see if we get any taste of Hyderabadi biryani.

Their food is affordable, halal and delicious. They even have a selection of vegan platters. Would really recommend any type of biryani as it is their specialty.

As a fresh and exciting new restaurant, I was quite excited to see what they had in store and this is my experience The chicken biriyani is their solid pillar. Tastes good, chicken is tender and rice is fragrant and flavoursome I don’t really have many issues with the biriyani other than some of the bones were broken. Not a huge issue but to be pointed out The chicken fry on the other hand, in my opinion is the star of my order. Spicy, crisp yet tender and juicy. It’s absolutely brilliant and could easily get through 2-3 boxes no bother!! Well done The big problem here was the vegetarian biriyani. The rice had the same aroma as the chicken but when you taste it, it’s virtually bland. The vegetables are lifeless with any lack of significant spice or flavour other than their own natural taste. It is absolutely not worth it unless you have no other option or dietary restrictions. Overall, I like this place! Staff are nice and the interior is modern yet sticks to South Indian motifs well doing justice to their logo but the veg biriyani, that’s the bug let down

If you aren't a fan of seriously spicy food, this is not the place for you... They don't lessen the spice even if you ask... They didn't have anything I wanted to order on the menu and so I ended up with chicken tika curry (nothing comes with it.. No rice, nothing) and was told its mildly spicy... Needless to say, I took 3 bites with home made rice, and 4 spoonfuls of yogurt and gave it to some friends who do like spiciness. My husband said his veg biryani was quite dry and also very spicy...otherwise fine If we wanted a meal box, we couldn't have veg biryani and chicken starters, only chillies... Seriously? No choice? Anyway, the taste of the curry was nice if you looked past the heat... But I will stick to weatherspoons... Better options, portions , spice levels, and atleast rice, naan and a drink included.. Sorry guys.. Just personal preference

Picked up takeaway over the weekend. Fantastic biriyani (very traditional with flavours and layering) and served with classic salan and raita. Quality of chicken/mutton also really high quality with classic cuts of mutton used like ribs, legs. Only issue was the salan not spicy enough and lacked flavour of sesame/till. Deifinely will be back.

Amazingly delicious and healthy Biryani Best ever tasting Hyderabadi dum biryani in Milton Keynes, all our family are big fan of Biryani, but it is very hard to find one equal to original hydebaradi dum biryani. Biryani in a box tick all the boxes, delicious taste, very clean packing, good for health - you won’t find any trace of oil whatsoever. Best part is their family pack comes with plates and napkins, makes it even more easy to serve and eat. Along with Biryani, must try is their Gongura Mutton or Chicken curry, very authentic taste.

The concept is really new. All food cooked fresh to your order just like a Pizza. We ordered a chicken biryani and taken it all the way to Reading and the biryani was piping hot when opened after 2 hours as well. Taste is authentic hyderabadi Dum. Awesome!! will comeback for sure..
