We have eaten here quite a few times now and had delivery LOADS more than that. One of the best menus I've ever eaten at am Indian. The flavours of each dish are so deep and delicious. Best thing is eating in though. The service and friendliness is above and beyond. Always leave feeling full, happy and welcomed!

Had a fantastic late birthday meal with the family. The food was wonderful and the staff are extremely attentive and friendly. The place has a great atmosphere and I would definitely recommend a visit to celebrate a special occasion or just a night out. This was our third visit and the quality of the food did not disappoint. There are lots of interesting dishes on the menu which are different from the norm that you would usually find in your regular Indian restaurant.

A lovely family meal. I travel a lot to India (over 20 times and counting) and appreciate a proper Biriani (hard to find in England). The kids and wife loved it all (my wife is not a lover of spicy food but said it was the best curry she has ever had…). Definitely recommended!

A Hidden Gem Everything about this place was fantastic - the friendly attentive staff made us feel welcome and helped us navigate the unusual menu which really is the first fantastic thing about this place - the original menu - they have your curry house usuals and the staples we all enjoy but there is also a great selection of unique dishes. The cold cobra beer was perfect temperature and clean and fresh tasting, served in a chilled and perfectly clean glass with just seconds from ordering to arriving. The food was first class; we went for a seafood starter (not something I would normally do in a restaurant just down the road from the furthest point in land in England) consisting of Goan Chilli prawns, calamari and fish pakora with a delightful fresh and zingy masala based sauce but the sauce was fresh and we could taste each and every ingredient in waves. It was also served a very mellow and almost sweet tarter sauce which was nothing like anything similar I had tasted before. The main event was even better - I can’t remember the name of all the dishes but The Boss Lamb curry - wow - again a masala based sauce with really well stewed lamb but what really set this aside was the layers of flavour throughout. Fresh tomato, coriander and your usual Indian suspects but cleverly flavoured with 3 types of onion - The masala onions, fresh spring onion through the sauce and crispy fried onion on the top. Great chutneys, great biryani that was simple but done exactly as it should be and served with possibly the best Dahl I have eaten outside of an Indian family home. This was, overall, the best curry I have eaten in 20 years and I have eaten pretty much 2 a month in over 10 countries. I am just re heating the doggy bag! Great job guys - keep it up!

Never been to the Mowgli before but had so many people recommend it (one being my boss who eats there so often, and low and behold he ended up being on the table next to us 😅) It was one of the best meals out we’ve had in a very long time. Me and my partner went to Mowgli’s last night and it was absolutely amazing from beginning to end! The food was incredible, the service was fantastic. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating especially a man named Abid. We will definitely be making Mowgli’s our regular restaurant of choice. I would definitely would recommend! The food and service from Mowgli's is second to none, the lamb is always cooked to perfection and always tender and fresh. Boss Lamb Curry is an awesome dish and something just a little different to the standard curry house fare. Cannot recommend high enough. Bangladeshi / Pakistani style cuisine 3 stars at best having tried this place out last summer after seeing the reviews but found most of the curries ok standard really. The base sauce used in the curries felt the same regardless of what we chose from the menu and overall the curries were not particularly flavoursome. A bit too heavy on the oil too so won’t be going back.

To add all staff are brilliant and accommodate the locals for a pint. I went in to order and a stool was quickly pulled up for me to have a drink and await my food. We ordered the banquet deal they had on offer but when the bill came they charged me full price, raised the issue and was sorted, only issue was the service of the food when the starters came out the waiter slide the food across the table that it nearly fell off the table just think they need to improve on the finer parts of the service.

We have had Mowglis on the list for quite a while but due to COVID-19 we had to delay our visit, but boy, was it worth the wait. Upon arrival the staff were very welcoming and showed us to our table of 8 outside. It was such a nice evening and to sit outside looking out towards the countryside was a real treat. Being outside was also very handy to keep two active young boys entertained in the big garden which even had a football goal. Onto the food. I had the Chicken Premier which was so delicious. The bhuna sauce was amazing and the caramelised tomatoes and potatoes were so yummy. My wife and brother-in-law both had the Garlic Chicken Tikka Sizzler. They both gave it top marks. My brother-in-law who likes his curry even said: "it was one of the best curries he's had." High praise indeed. One thing I should add about kids food. They don’t have a kids menu, they just provide smaller portions on main menu choice so we chose some milder dishes which the kids absolutely loved. The staff were excellent and on hand to see if we needed anything or asked how our food was which was great to see. The thing I loved the most about Mowglis, is that because it was formerly the Bell Inn, it has this great family village pub feel to it whilst serving excellent Indian cuisine. We will be back soon, the family really enjoyed our visit.

Had read really good reviews about Mowgli's.. after having to cancel the visit twice, we finally made it. Staff and service - awesome! Food - awesome; delicious! Ambience - somehow imagined it to be more 'jungle book' themed (as the name suggests) hence was a bit disappointed.. But other than that a cozy place to dine in! We (my partner and daughter) had a long day of work and we’re looking forward to an Indian meal as not had one in a while, we had already pre booked a table here but never been before. When arriving the building has an old English pub vibe to it, low ceilings with wooden beams etc which was really nice. They were very busy but we were acknowledged straight away and told they would be with us in a moment, which they were and we were promptly seated. The seater, drinks server and waiter were all incredibly friendly and the service was prompt. We had some papadoms to share as we looked through the menu. Our combined starters were vegetable samosas and onion bhajis, warning the samosas are very hot lol (temperature). The onion bhajis were very nice. Our mains, out daughter had chicken tikka and pilau rice. Both me and my partner had the vegetable sizzler and shared Bombay aloo, rice and some naan bread. All were incredibly tasty. Before bring the mains out they come to ask us if we are ready for them first.... I really liked that as sometimes you can be mid conversation and food is then put down which kills the convo. Really nice touch. All in all, great atmosphere, friendly and well mannered staff, great food. We even gave you a shout out on our business page so from us at MK Dog Behaviour and Training, thank you for a lovely evening.

My mum and I recently popped into Mowgli for a very impromptu drink and nibbles on our way home from a few days away. We've wanted to try Mowgli for a long time and it certainly didn't disappoint! From start to finish we were made to feel incredibly welcome and were greeted at the bar like long lost friends! We only wanted a few starters but we were still made to feel like royalty. Out in the woods but good dining experience. Tad a little on the expensive side but was satisfied with food and service. Cobra beer on tap was very gasey. Nan bread is so sweet than normal, expensive and not the best. If you are new to eating Curry's you'll rave about this place. Experience diners will know the difference. I recently visited it again was not impressed apart from one dish. Did not leave a good impression for future visits to dine here.

We discovered this place at the start of the COVID lockdown, and have had a regular delivered takeaway from them since. They have a very efficient WhatsApp ordering service. Once the order is placed they phone back later, confirm the order and take the payment. All of the staff we have dealt with have been friendly and efficient, even if they have been busy. The food is superb, and has been a major morale-booster for us over recent months, and we are looking forward to visiting the restaurant VERY soon. Just brilliant!

Really enjoyed my meal from here. Some different choices to usual. I started with paneer pakora and it was delicious. My main was lamb, big non fatty tender pieces cooked beautifully with peppers and onions. Definitely recommend you try it. I'll be eating from them again. Delivered on time.

Finally We found you! I have been getting fed up of eating poor quality Indian food from our previous local. The boys from Baloo which used to manage it when it used to be the best Indian around are back at Goan Indian takeaway!! Oh how I’ve missed these lovely boys. I called this new takeaway and gave them a order and they needed my address and name.They straight away recognised my address and voice and they even remembered my order!! The ORIGINAL boss lamb curry is back!! They also have their awesome chef with them The food and service 10/10. My wife is over the moon as we now have our weekend sorted. Boss lamb curry for me and Xcuti Chicken for the missus! Give it a go and you won’t be disappointed, their reputation exceeds them see you next week boys!!!! Graham and Nicky smith

Came here on my birthday as I had heard great things about the food,I was not dissapointed as it was absolutely delicious ,plenty of flavour without intense heat like some indian restaurants,staff were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.The Mowgli is set in the historic village of beachampton with royal ties next door to where catherine parr lived,Anne boleyn was given the village by henry the eighth who married both ladies.The restaurant is only a ten minute drive from milton keynes but its well worth the small trip out.

Tonight was the first night we ordered from the Mowgli Restaurant. I contacted them via Facebook messenger. I was impressed on how responsive they were. Customer service was exemplary. The food was delivered promptly and glad to find it was still hot. The food was presented excellently, so first impressions were nailed. I ordered a mixed starter and Lamb Boss curry, the wife had grilled lamb chops starter and traditional Chicken Tikka Masala. According to the wife best Lamb Chop on the MK takeaway landscape, an area she is quite accomplished in. The mixed starter was decent, components worked well and decent value at £6. The Bhaji crispy and flavoursome, the lamb fillet was the best bit... juicy and tasty. The samosa was not handmade, if you know you know!! The Chicken Tikka Masai’s hit the mark, sweet and warming. On par with the strongest we have ordered. On to the main event, the Lamb Boss curry. First of all they had run out of the lamb fillet. They explained it was tender leg... slightly disappointed. The sauce was very flavoursome, a little spicy but not with the 3 chillies shown o the menu. There was plenty of meat, but extremely small pieces. I don’t think it’s as good as the Naidni Lamb Methi Chom Chom. The pilau rice was spot on fragrant and soft. Overall... a decent go. I will try then again I’m intrigued by their clay pot biryani. 4 stars is fair for this go.

Take Away - very good Lamb Biryani, it's flavoursome, the rice is perfectly cooked and the lamb is tender. However, the veg curry is disappointing; it's a bit mushy! The only satisfying bits of veg are a couple of potato chunks and a few carrot slices. There are some recognisable peas and sweetcorn niblets and a green bean or two. No nice chunks of courgette, aubergine, cauliflower or cabbage. Sadly, it does kind of look like someone has already eaten it although, thankfully, it doesn't taste like that! TBH, it just tastes a bit spicy brown. The texture really isn't good which is a sadness...
