T. R.I take Fish and Chips seriously. I used to drive to Leighton Buzzard to get my F&C fix, but not now! At St Mary's the fish is good quality, the frying just right and the batter crispy and tasty. Chips a great too, melt in the mouth :) Quick friendly service and a nice atmosphere as staff and customers are often chatting together.

T.Food is great here in fact amazing but its just the timing that are wrong. It said that your open at 4pm so I came at 5pm and you were still closed and this had been happening for a long time and when I tried to call the number to see what time you actually open it went straight to voicemail.
N. M.A good Chippy is becoming harder to find these days. I have now been using St.Mary’s chippy for a number of years and have always had freshly cooked fish and chips. Never a bad meal in my experience. What’s makes it a good chippy? Well it starts with the ladies who serve, always friendly and up for a chat. The fish is always freshly cooked, yes there is a little wait, but worth it. The chips are proper thick cut chippy chips. It ticks all the boxes, not just one or two. But like all things it is a personal choice, but I’ve never been disappointed.

G. P.The only chippie I know who takes the skin of the cod before battering it and deep frying it. My preference is the haddock, skin left on as it is usually cooked to order, but most of all, good friendly staff.
M. F.I had for at least 30 years considered the chippy a last choice for dinner. Then I popped into at Mary’s chippy... wow I’m back. Chips cooked to perfection and a massive choice of dishes tried and never disappointed. I even changed from the rose kebab van, although still the best st Mary’s come so close that with their wonderful chips and fresh salad they win every time. My kids would choose an angel or saint burger over any of the McDonald’s or Burger King offerings. Added to the savings on a full on family feed means it’s almost always a family agreement. That’s quite an achievement, well done guys... keep it up 👍

B.It's not the worse chippy in the land but for me I like value for my money and like to have enough chips were I can't count them, and if I say large cod then I want it to be difficult to wrap and at this place neither is true. Then we have the question off when are they actually open which in itself is pot luck, trust me there are new owners at Whaddon Way Shops and if you have a car take a drive you won't be disappointed.
