V. P.Great food and good customer service, the venue is clean and bright and can accommodate larger groups. There was several TVs and comfy seating which is generally what I like about venues like this.
I usually have my go to meal which is the BBQ Hunters Chicken and at The Giffard Park its £6.79 which is crazy cheap! This did baffle me until I got my order and its because of portion sizes. In most venues I would get much chicken so this explains the considerable lower price. I personally would happily pay more for a bigger portion but the food was still nice and maybe this is a bit more healthy and saves me some money so its not a deal breaker.
The venue was very nice and I would happily come again. There is also a garden area and outdoor seating with a covered area too, so on a bright summers day its also a nice place to be.
B. C.Can’t fault the service. Everyone was wonderful. The food however wasn’t so great this time. The sausages in the roll were really burnt and barely edible and same with my sausages on the sizzler, probably made worse by the sizzler. The items that weren’t burnt were ok tho!
A. M.We went out as a family for a meal and some drinks. Apart from a few things off the menu all was going ok and the food was fine. However we decided to order dessert for the children and one last drink for the adults (using the app). Unfortunately the dessert came and we had to wait and chase the drinks after 20-30 minutes. Which then meant the kids were then waiting on us to finish and were rather fed up. HOWEVER the staff dealt with the situation very swiftly and very professionally. They were all lovely and very apologetic. Specifically Michelle. Michelle seemed genuinely sorry that our night had ended on a bad note. We wouldn't let this experience prevent us from returning. The staff are VERY conscientious and a credit. Thank you Michelle, you made sure we came away content ensuring our return. Great customer service.
P. D.Visited the pub today for dinner. Will definitely be going back. Fast friendly service, nice environment, food was super. New menu has something for everyone. All this while watching the sport. Great experience all round. Big thanks to all the staff for making the visit a great start to my weekend. Thanks again. See you soon.
G. W.Very cheap but cheerful! This is one of the Sizzling Pub chain and to be fair, the £9.99 steak surpassed expectations. OK, it wasn't rare but it wasn't chewy. It wasn't large, but it cost less than a tenner. Good pint of Guinness and decent outdoor area. The only negative is that we could smell the drains outside, but it has to be said that it was a very hot day.
W. C.I went for breakfast yesterday morning (Wednesday 29th June), the food was excellent, the service quick and my experience was great. The pub was clean, there were sanitation points at the entrance and further on inside. Not only is it very spacious, they also have many tv screens, a contactless pool table and an updated darts system. Will definitely be returning for breakfast and for more.
