Got a just eat delivery from here. I ordered the 8 course special meal.. I was stuffed lol 😂 i got the Mixed Chef Special Starter which was delicious, cooked to perfection, tender and juicy the way it should be. The chefs Special Rice which was special, fried rice with all sorts of goodies in it, well pleased i picked this one! Sri Lanka King Prawn, not had a dish like this before quite coconutty and not too spicy which i loved. Garlic Nan, Tarka Dhall, Poppa Doms, Salad and some sauces. Definitely a big eat that 2 could share for a picky dinner. I loved all of it except the Tarka Dhall which just kinda lacked something? All in all it was a feast to remember would defo order again bar the Dhall haha 👌😁👍

Lovely food at Ahad’s and friendly service! The quality of the meat was brilliant and really tasty food without any heavy or oily aftertaste ! Totally recommend.

Absolutely fantastic Chicken Tikka Shashlik - the cubes of chicken were huge and well cooked, not over spiced. Great tandoor flavour well complimented with the grilled peppers and onions. And the chips... wow... delicious!

Delicious flavours and spice in the lamb dish I had. In a cosy dinning room. With pleasant attentive staff.

Had a very good experience here after my first visit. The food was excellent both our start took a little while to come but it was worth the wait shortly followed by our mains. There was a good atmosphere in the small dining area, staff were also really friendly. All round was a really enjoyable experience.

Amazing food and choice but took so long to get each course tonight. Even took 45 minutes from entry to get wine glasses as it is bring your own . Can't be in a hurry here for sure !

Excellent new restaurant - intimate and friendly with great food.
The food was fresh and beautifully prepared. Service from a young lady and a young man was spot on - friendly and efficient. It's a small, intimate restaurant, which is very clean, and it's a bring your own bottle place which certainly cuts the cost of eating out. It's a really good addition to Gosforth which already has very good Indian restaurants, and, as locals, we'll be back.

Shared the 8 course special meal (available Sundays and Thursdays £15) with my husband yesterday. I only ever order a starter for my main anyway so this suited us well. It was absolutely delicious and I can't imagine going elsewhere for Indian food now. The portions were similar to those of Ahad's on the High Street (also delicious). There was enough left for a decent lunch/snack for 1 person today. 😊

We have had Ahads Indian Kitchen a couple of times now and have loved both - its probably our new go to now! The curries are really tasty and the starters we have had very also really good. Delivery is quick and good communication too! Definitely recommend 👌

On our way home we decided to call in. What a great decision. The meal was beautiful. Hubby had a lamb dish, Lucknowi Gosht, that he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the butter chicken which was so tasty. We didn’t order starters but we were given a complimentary tray of various dishes with poppadoms as it was our 1st time there. We were told we could bring our own alcohol & directed to a wine store a few doors away! What service. Very friendly & cheerful. This might be our Thursday treat after looking after our granddaughters!

Am no where given time for posting reviews before but now am posting this as i feel this should be worth it. I have been to this restaurant with couple of my friends for the first time, we ordered HYDERABADI BIRYANIS Chicken Biryani and Lamb Biryani.
A supper club is generally an intimate affair, with a select group of diners sharing a unique gastronomic experience in a discreet, good space. At least that’s true in my native India. I’m thinking specifically of a place like Paradise in India,
Hyderabadi chicken and Lamb Biryani' scored top points when it came to taste. The tender and juicy pieces struck a delicious balance with equally flavourful and aromatic basmati rice.
Every biryani enthusiast is most likely to know of this place and may even slurp at the mere mention.
If you are a fan of traditional Hyderabadi biryani, this is the right place to be. ...”Ahad's Indian Kitchen”
Overall service was appreciated. This is best restaurant i recommend to visit.

I have just removed a rave review which may seem harsh because the food is good but first order was done wrong and had to wait 20 mins which is fine as people make mistakes but I decided to get order delivered due to last experience and this time when I checked the change given by delivery driver there were a couple of old pound coins. Its not about the money but more the fact that my only 2 experiences have irritated me which sucks as the food is good but unfortunately I wont order again.
