I liked the taste of food . They have so many dishes in LAMB. Lamb lovers will love it more . And I loved the variety of desserts . So creamy and yummy. I went for my friend bday . They are good at making surprises by bringing birthday cake and play songs . It’s very lively and happy moment. You need to tell the staff about the birthday plan . I loved the birthday cake a lot . It’s so soft, creamy & Very melting cake.

A delicious buffet in Newcastle!!
Variety of dishes including pizza and pasta, almost a dozen of different sauces and pickles, Pakistani and Indian traditional dishes including Biryani, Qorma, Karahi, nibari, paaye, haleem etc.
Variety of Bbq options including chicken tikka, lamb and chicken seekh kabab, chicken wings, chops etc
Many snacking items as well. Samosa spring rolls etc
Desserts include traditional sweet dishes like kheer, gulab jamun as well as apple pie, custard, variety of cakes and pastries, mousse, pudding and jellies etc.
Water is free but you have to pay for soft drinks separately from your buffet price.
They don't have any parking but nearby travel lodge offers paid parking at £2.7 for 2 hours.
Wheel chair access as well as rest room facilities are available.
If you reserve on line that can save some time but you can easily get the tables on site with little or no waiting time.
Overall, a good option for friends and families.

Best buffet in the town with a wide variety of food. Recommended
A. n.
They have so many delicious dishes. The staff was lovely, Ramzy specifically was charismatic and made us feel welcomed. We had a lovely evening, we will definitely be coming back.

Amazing food and the best customer service I've had not sure who the waiter was but he has amazing customer service skills. Told us to try the special dessert with a good story to it.
R. S.
Truly loved the experience, had an array of delicious curries and desserts.Lamb nihari was too good. The buffet spread was very impressive and the huge selection of deserts left me wanting me to go for more.
P. A.
Good selection of food in a variety of types. Nice that it's a set price as you know your budget. Plenty of choice of drinks too. Staff are willing to help and clear away regularly so you don't end up with a lot of plates and things left on the table.
K. S.
Absolutely amazing food.
You definitely need to pre book as we didn't and had to wait a little while. There was 9 tables waiting when we left.. this shows just how good the food is..
I have no idea where to start but definitely recommend. Will be back soon. The man who showed us to our seat was very pleasant.
A. R.
Food was decent. It is a buffet after all. Better than some restaurants in my opinion. All the food I tried was fresh and tasty. A wide choice of cusine mainly English, South Asian and East Asian. Great if you have kids or fussy eaters in your party. Staff were good, just busy. Only gripe I have is that it took too long for the traditional tea to arrive when we ordered. The staff wouldn't let us leave and insisted the tea was coming. Still took too long. They sting you on the drinks, but I suppose all buffets work this way. Still highly recommended.
J. B.
Massive selection of the more popular popular Indian dishes, plus some Chinese and even English so ideal for all ages. Excellent quality - chicken madras was superb my wife loved the tandoori fish - all freshly cooked (some cooked in front of you). Especially good if you like lamb.
A. K.
A good restaurant, both buffet and food to order options available
Lots of variety and very friendly staff, live cooking as well.
Enjoyed a good time with office colleagues.

Second time I've been here and the food is great. Everything is so tasty, I never know what to get and there is a huge choice. The only downside for me is not directly with the restaurant but more the customers - parents with kids need to control them better. Few kids running around being very loud.. It's restaurant not a playground.

Fabulous all you can eat buffet in Newcastle city centre. First time visiting. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The menu was fabulous with a huge range of Indians, Chinese and English dishes. Plenty of seating available. Very busy place due to the fact its probably the best one I've ever been to. The only suggestion I'd make is a smoking area but due to restricted area there is nowhere available. Car park is about a five min walk. Will be returning
D. H.
The wife took me here for my birthday and it was nice
Service was spot on
Food was very nice
A. M.
✅Good food, defo, always fresh, you wont get a chance to try everything on offer, fact, there is that much food to choose from, you will need to visit a few times to try it all….
❌Small plates
❌Small tables
❌Tight tables
❗️Gents restroom a joke…
⁉️How can such a large establishment have one toilet and two urinals in such a small space??
⚠️Come on guys get real!!
E. N.
Service was brilliant, staff couldn't do enough for you. The food was brilliant and so much choice. We'll definitely be back next time we're in that part of the country.

Visited for the first time on Saturday (second time for my partner, who loved his previous trip). The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially the guest manager, De Souza, who was very passionate about his customers; coming over to talk and check everything was ok, recommending dishes and drinks, and sharing stories, all without being overbearing! Everything looked spotlessly clean, and there was a great range of beautifully cooked food. Bachir, on the grill, and Alin, clearing tables and seeing to customers, both deserve praise. The food was all piping hot and regularly replenished, and our used plates and dishes were very quickly cleared. I will happily return here. I didn't get the chance to try many desserts, but the carrot dish with ice cream was beautiful!
J. S.
We've been a few times but this was our first Sunday visit. We had the Sunday carvery which was perfect. The roasties are the nicest I've ever had. My daughter was over the moon at being able to have a turkey dinner with roasties, proper gravy and Yorkshire puddings followed by chicken tikka and rice then pizza and chips. She also managed 4 desserts. I would absolutely 100% recommend Aneesa's to anyone. The staff are always lovely and friendly and it is always spotlessly clean. There's never plates left on the table for long either.
R. K.
It was a nice experience to try something new in town.
It serve Buffet and have a variety of yummy Asian dishes with a great selection of dessert 🍨.
There is a Travelodge carpark which is free from 6pm and before that it's £1.70 an hour.
Aneesa sitting area is quite huge and well airy.
There is an access for wheelchair and pram users, which is a handy and could be used elder people.
Great food, great taste but not economical.
Also you pay for your drinks separately.
J. E.
Amazing place! The choice of food is breathtaking. No rush, friendly staff, spacious and fantastic food. Would definitely recommend!
K. B.
Went for 60th birthday, service fantastic, food delicious. Something for everyone, starters, main meals, and a lovely selection of sweets. I will definitely be returning.

Great selection. Lovely food. Very attentive guest manager Mr De Souza and staff Jumaa , Ruamdhi. A great way to try wonderful alternative dishes.
G. J.
Lovely place lots of choice all very tasty very good service the owner was very kind to my family. Will definitely recommend and come back.
A. B.
Pros -
1. It's spacious with great ambience
2. A lot of options within Asian food
3. Lots of chicken and mutton dishes, hence paradise for non vegetarians
4. Most of the staffs are good and always smiling
5. Excellent variations of deserts
6. Recommended dishes - Amritsari fish, mutton bhuna, mutton nihari, kheer, jarda, gajar halwa
7. Gulab jamoon was very fresh
Cons -
1. The tall lady at reception (with white shirt, most workers usually dressed up in black) was extremely rude and had no intention to let us in. From the beginning she is telling no guarantee of table, lots of guests are waiting etc.. We initially thought to leave, however changed our plan and stayed there. It took us just 30 mins to get a table. We went at the restaurant at 7.30 in the evening and got the table around 8.00).
2. No one maintaining social distancing at waiting area. It could have been avoided by taking guests contact number and then by calling the guest whenever the table is ready
3. No social distancing at buffet area. Some one should be there to maintain social distancing.
4. Few foods were smelly - peshawari chicken, apple crumble with custurds and strawberry cheesecake. Someone should monitor the food at throw it whenever it's not good.
A. C.
Well presented lounge and staff are very welcoming, food area is very good and a wide selection of food is on off from warming curry to hot thought sizzling flavours. They also cater well for your kids that don't like spice and hot flavours ice is a big hit with many sauces to keep the kids smiling. I would visit again and would recommend to others.
a. k.
Nice buffet but felt overcrowded.
l.
Great food and service good price will be going back next time I visit and kid friendly loads of dishes freshly made drinks a bit pricey would highly recommend
D. K. W.
nice & proper restaurant with quite lots of variety of food. located a bit hidden from the main road but easy to find thanks to google maps. a bit pricey if you are not that keen to middle east or indian/pakistani food. The pizza are nice but not that impressive. I love the mousse and gulab jamun (first time trying this). Not much protein variety for children (only chicken nuggets, fish finger) since most of the food has a bit spiciness in it
S. T.
A beautiful entrance lounge with seating if requires to wait for seating but as we booked our table online we wete seated asap.
Good food quality quantity and service. We were shown around the buffet area as it is very large which was very helpful indeed. Very spacious, bright and nice atmosphere. Great for bringing the kids along, family and frends get together or just couples. Suitable for all.
From kids fast food to 15 + curries , starters , salad & Chinese...it doesn't end there as there is over 10 different desserts that you will be spolit for choice.
Had a great time out and definitely recommend all to come and try. Will be coming back again.
K. J.
Beautiful food. One of the most beat buffet restaurants i have ever been too.
V. P.
For the first time when I did visit, the food was too good and that made me visit the place for the second time. But this time I was not much satisfied with the food, it be with taste or dishes. I felt nothing new in their menu, nothing that excited me as well. One thing that made me worry this time is I am sick after having food from Aneesa which is a disappointment.
But then i would surely recommend this place for anyone who wishes to taste good Indian food. Best Indian buffet restaurant in Newcastle.
E. P.
Wow very nice food experience with them. If you love to eat variety of Indian foods then that's the right place. I have been there with my family, no food complaints from my kids. Good to go at lease once :-)
O. M.
Best all you can eat buffet I have been to I was in a food coma for around 3 hours afterwards good choice of desserts aswell
G. L.
Lovely food, good service!
Well worth it & definitely will go again
C. S.
Beautiful and clean.
Went as a large group, staff attended to us fast. Food were amazing and the children loved trying lots of different desserts!! The staff are beautiful, polite, and very helpful.
Highly recommended.
D. L.
Absolutely beautiful food, highly recommended definitely rate 10/10. Service next to none, amazing. De Souza interacted with our daughter, bringing her over deserts to do taste tests... she found that entertaining. Vamsi constantly ensuring the area/table was immaculate. New favourite place to eat, well done.
S. M.
Dined twice before and had some good experience. Thought of trying their takeaway ordered a mixed grill, naans, chicken korma and kheema aloo.
Mixed grill contained 1 chapli kebab, 4 pieces of chicken tikka, 2 chicken wings, 2 sheek kebabs, 2 lamb grills, 1 naan, rice or chips, salad and dips. Everything was exceptionally good and fresh.
Except korma I loved everything. Korma was too sweet which tasted almost like a dessert.
I. J.
Great buffet with good variety in town, it is busy at time so always worth booking in advance.

A delicious & authentic buffet in Newcastle, They have so many different dishes, from starters to dessert. Food was amazing with great staff. Staff are very polite, friendly, helpful and professional. Specially NIKHIL/ VAMSHI was a great staff, who served us with a very friendly atmosphere & manner. And Thank you so much to ( GUEST Manager ) DE SOUZA, Who made my birthday so special.
M. B.
You just can’t go wrong with this place if your into Indian Buffet with a twist... it’s massive seating area and wonderful staff count a lot toward the experience. Food just tingles the taste buds and you will know from the first look that good is of high standard. They are extremely clean when it comes to health and no shortcuts in quality.
They offer a limited afternoon buffet which is well priced. And after 4 they start the full show.
My only concerns are the Toilets.
and drinks that are over priced.
No student discount is offered.
A. H.
Was ok. In fairness I went when wasn't feeling 100% so my review is tainted a little. Good range of food. Just bear in mind lots of things you think might be medium spiced...are hot 🥵
C. S.
Went here on Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. Wasn't super busy and food was all fresh and really tasty. If you love Indian food come here!
N. H.
Top quality Asian food, we will definitely be coming back.
V. R.
Very nice place to eat lots of choices and good staff. We visited here almost daily while we were in New Castle just to sample all they had to offer. Plus the prices were good.
C. M.
First time I have been and wow. I will be back. I can't find a single thing to complain about. Seriously though don't eat for a day before you go. Cos you need to try everything.
A. R. M.
Good place. Plenty of different dishes. A lot of them hot.
R. C.
Really nice place, with tastey food.
C. O.
Me and my partner Went here last night for the first time ....from arriving to leaving the service was first class the girl that greeted us was so helpful then the guest manager Desouza took us to our seats and then showed us round the buffet area very friendly and professional, the waitress Alin was very friendly .The food was amazing the hygiene in the place was spot on I highly recommend and me and my partner will definitely be returning thanks guys good job

Friendly, quick attentive service. Nice surroundings.Good selection of Indian and Chinese dishes. I enjoyed what I had
D. K.
Crazy busy place,.large selection of Indian and Chinese food, along with a few other options like chips and pizza. Very good value and food all nice and fresh
S. M.
Brilliant atmosphere with delicious food and so many desserts to choose from you are spoilt for choice. Excellent customer service and look forward to visiting the restaurant in the near future.
J. A.
Been here many times and always have a great time. So much choice including pizza and small selection of other Asian foods. More bitesize desserts than you can shake a stick at!
S. R.
It is a good place for unlimited buffet, but we shouldn’t expect Indian taste here as a bit of less salt and spice served here.
F. K.
Good buffet good amount of options and good desserts, the gulab jamun with ice cream is awesome
I. L.
One of the best buffet restaurants I have been in. The number of starters, mains and desserts was impressive and my selections were very tasty.
L. I.
Fantastic place. Food is exceptional, the manager de souza made the night special. Spent time with us, recommended things and the level of service was 2nd to none.
J. G.
Sadly disappointed with Aneesa’s for a buffet experience, the food was varied but often a right mess for presentation due to the cuisine type so there was leaking oils, curry sauces and grease all over the place. The atmosphere isn’t that of a ‘all you can eat’ due to the restaurant choosing to seating you as close as possible to the food so there’s a hustle and bustle of people running up to the food area and back to their seats in a non stop torrent of movement and noise right over your shoulder, made for an uneasy comparison to the other all you can eats in Newcastle.
The food quality although okay, Isn’t any different from what you might expect from a standard takeout.
P. V.
Fabulous place
Beautiful food
Great selection something for everyone.
Good value for money.
5*****

A. P.
Brilliant Indian buffet, would recommend. Super attentive staff and delicious food.
S. C.
Aneesa's specialises in a range of buffets mainly Indian, Chinese and Italian. You'll find a nice range of indian delicacies. We came here at 10pm so experienced the last batch of food and I can confirm the food was still at a fine quality for a buffet. 16.99 per head which is quite expensive for a buffet, but you'll get your money's worth if you have at least 3 plates. Drinks are an added cost and the mocktails take about 10 minutes to prepare, so expect a tad bit of wait. The restaurant is really nice and the food is easy to get your hands into as the sections are all seperate. I was mostly impressed with the stir fry as it is cooked in front of your eyes and is very fresh. The staff are very attentitive as well and most restaurants in Newcastle close by 9:30pm on a weekend and Aneesa is still open till 11pm, which is very impressive. You can find parking in Quayside Car Park after 8pm it is free!
S. M.
Atmosphere good relaxed..food nice price not to bad
R.
Just simply wow. Top class service and food, couldn't fault it. £14.99 on a Saturday afternoon, brilliant.
H. M.
The best. Allot will disagree. But it ain't easy to do desi buffet. Offcourse few items maybe hit n miss
M. B.
Loved it .Huge plenty seating no wait .Food was great everything and anything huge choices .Enjoyed it a lot .
G.
Great food and atmosphere, drinks are reasonably priced and the food is authentic from what I know. A good selection of Indian, Chinese and pizzas. Fantastic naan breads too! I've seen other reviews that says the food has oil on it. It's Indian food! You've got to expect some ghee! Will definitely be back.
D. B.
We visited here on Saturday the 1st of December with some of the lads from work and had a lovely time and meals were really nice. I particularly like the Afghan botti, but everything was cooked nicely and tasted fresh full stop service was good. I recommend this place.
M. W.
Amazing place for family friends or couples reasonable price with variety of food and delicious recommend this to try you will never regret it
M. N.
I had the pleasure of eating here for a casual lunch and my experience was beyond pleasant. Friendly staff. Celicious food. Highly hygienic.
J. O.
The food was amazing...I havent had a good meal with loads of varieties in long while.
S. H.
I love Indian food and this is probably my favourite restaurant. It is an extremely reasonably priced, all you can eat restaurant and the choice is brilliant. I like the size of the place and the fact that a lot of Asian people use it.
S. D.
Staff are lovely and the food is great. Would highly recommend taking the time to visit.
The cost is very reasonable and we will definitely be returning.
M. V.
Same food menu most of the time, most of the non veg starter taste same and limited variety for vegetarian. Ok for one visit.
N. R.
Been to a few buffet restaurant but by far Aneesa is the best. It offers a great variety of tasty food and good service.
i. h.
Very nice fresh food, good service, friendly environment. Highly recommend.
M. M.
Not a huge fan of Buffets in general and in all honesty, have visited this place a couple of times in the past and was left disappointed.
However after yesterdays visit with my friend, I can’t help but admit that the quality has since went up drastically. Really enjoyed everything that I picked up. Was a huge fan of the Chicken Karai and the Deghi Ghost. From memory I can remember leaving disappointed with the main course a couple of years ago but what a change. Buffets are known for subpar watered down food, but this was real quality on display (based on Indian food, didn’t try pizzas or the other foods). Oh and the apple crumble with custard was really nice.
The only downside, we’re still in a pandemic, love it or hate it, and as much as we need to be back to normality, we still need to be careful. I wish they would’ve had more spaces between tables or restricted how many customers were allowed in. To say it was busy and crowded would’ve been a huge understatement. Hence we ate pretty quick and left. The table next to us had the same conversation amongst themselves about it (that’s how close we were that we overheard).
Apart from that, would recommend. 4/5
A. S.
Nice buffet spread, loved the food there.
R. H.
Food was really good loads of choice would highly recommend
B. B.
Ok, I would say they are trying to cut cost...lamb chops have become lamb ribs and more meat is on the bone.
M.
Lovely food, huge variety, lots to eat, friendly staff
J. B.
They have a great choice of dessert service is on point the place is clean
C. A.
Lovely selection of foods. Shame about the need to queue to ask for deserts though. Seems odd for a buffet restaurant
J.
Very friendly staff, great food and loads of it. much higher quality than generic buffet restaurants like cosmos. save room for dessert
B. N.
Beautiful food and lovely staff.
We've never had a bad meal here.
It's my favourite place for curry.
I'm just gutted you guys stopped delivering.
Thanks again x
E. F.
Quite busy but luckily pre booked a table, very nice atmosphere and food was lovely 🤌
R. R. (.
Popped in here for a takeout chicken vindaloo with chips as been here many times with pals, £9.50 with chips and a keema knan, got it home which was a huge portion and tasted unreal. Great service.
S. F. 2.
Honestly ! I can’t talk highly enough about this buffet! It’s the best one I’ve ever been to. Everything is PERFECT. The food, music, atmosphere, staff. The staff are very friendly from the minute you enter, they’re very smiley and welcoming, food is 10/10 u can see what’s spicy and what’s not clearly indicated by the label. Desserts are top notch so much to choose from.
Last time I went they didn’t have the mojito flavour we asked for and gave us a free raspberry mojito for free. The staff need a pay rise lol. I love it here honestly it’s my go to place since I discovered it!!!
❤️ Thank you to all staff & owner for the amazing quality and quantity of food ❤️
M. B.
Would reccomend decent food good value and friendly professional staff
A. A.
Regular visitor with partner and 2 kids. Very good service, you food. Great atmosphere.
A. P.
FANTASTIC ALL ROUND
DE SOUZA the guest manager couldnt of done any more for us. Will definitely be back
S.
We went in on a Sunday the staff member took us to the table, table was clean. There’s a wide selection of food for adults and children. The whole family enjoyed it. Food was being topped up regularly, will definitely go again.
R. W.
Food is amazing especially if you are a spice/chillihead. I would however like to see heat ratings on the food. Lines for desserts a bit risky in mid covid though. Definitely worth a look in if you love Indian food, they also do other cuisines.
T. A.
Aneesa’s is a great place to eat with a large inventory of Indian and some other cultural foods. The food is great and the customer service has is at even better level. However, aneesa’s buffet is located in a place which provides little to no parking and the only place you can park to get inside is the car park which is normally busy and the fees are not cheap. But overall, Aneesa’s is a great Indian buffet which incorporates other countries food like Chinese for example.
A. K.
Very nice buffet with wide range of indian food as well as other foods too (i.e pizza chips chicken strips etc) would highly recommend, also lots of choice for starters & desserts
L. S.
Very nice quality food and reasonably priced
C. F.

R. C.
Not usually a fan of buffer style places but this place was amazing, top quality food, excellent service & a competitive price.
A. K.
Wonderful place for a buffet experience. The starters are amazing
A. E.
Whats not to like.there's something to please everyone. Its clean and very efficiently run.
J. G.
Sadly disappointed with Aneesa’s for a buffet experience, the food was varied but often a right mess for presentation due to the cuisine type so there was leaking oils, curry sauces and grease all over the place. The atmosphere isn’t that …
N.

Great selection buffet!!! Very nice!
A. W.
Enjoyed it,but there wasn't much selection on the Chinese section
J. B.
Excellent service, great choice of food, good grub
S. W.
Food quality quite good, but was expecting a lower price considering it's buffet-style. Was very busy and you have to question how covid-safe the buffet is with lots of the food being open to the elements.
M. M.
The best restaurant in Newcastle so far.

J. U.
They have good selections of starters all high quality and traditional however the main courses are slightly disappointing rather bland not what I expected.
The desserts are very good plus the service is good overall pretty good.

Loved the food, the starters are the main attraction, you just cant stop eating. Will visit Newcastle this to have a hearty meal.

Good variety of Indian food, they also have Chinese food and pizza.
Very good quality which you can't easily find in open buffet based restaurants.
Friendly staff as well.

Visited today for dinner with family of 3x people, 1st time since the lockdown and reopening.
- Booking was easy online. However I was disappointed on arrival. I booked a table for a family in advance and asked especially for a private family table but my request was ignored. there were a few empty tables all the time during our dinner and the restaurant was not busy at all. As a regular customer I was really disappointed. I did not make a big deal of it but this was really poor management.
- Safty measures are reasonably good and following the gov advice.
- Food: average, but fresh and decent.
- Atmosphere: a bit odd and not cozy as it used to be, understandably due to Covid-19. It was not busy as usual.
- Price: quite expensive despite the %25 discount. For the current price we used to have unlimited fussy drink. Now, you have to pay for any drink and it's quite expensive.

Some dishes are very nice whilst others below acceptable standard. I'm sure they use an ingredient used in Indian weddings it makes you extremely thirsty.
Beautiful restaurant with attentive staff. Great choice at the buffet to cater for mixed crowds. Buffet includes amongst the popular Indian starters and main, a huge choice of desserts, pizzas, chips, condiments and specialist chutneys, various salads and caters for vegetarians
Excellent choice, clean modern premises.

We went on the last day of the eat out to help out scheme. We hadn't had a booking and they were fully booked but they still managed to accommodate us. And I must confess the food was awesome. The haleem, nihari, pya, garlic naan, lamb ribs, mango lassi, strawberry mojito were the stars. This was the best ever buffet restaurant I have been to. I live in London and have tried almost all the buffet restaurants in London and the most famous in other cities as well but this one left all behind. The social distancing measures were very good. The hotel was very clean. Service was very good despite they were busy like hell. I would love to go there again.
N. A.
Nice experience with the family. Food was good and so was the service.
a. r.
Decent choice of food, nice and friendly staff. Being a buffet, its reasonably priced I feel for the choice you get, deserts are really nice.
M.
Amazing food and lots of options to choose from, simply wow!
K. R.
Came to visit Newcastle for the night from Liverpool and was looking for a place to eat. Found here and so glad we did the food was amazing. Nice social distance never felt cramped in. Service was brilliant had to laugh when got asked (what is a shandy lol). All in all great food and service would highly recommend to try this place.
S. K.
Very good buffet.
Good taste
H. L.
Insanely delicious. Flavours out of this world Amazing value for money. The best Indian food I have eaten outside of Bradford. I was in food heaven. I'd travel from Hull to just eat here it's that good. Outstanding format and concept. Other choices such as pizza and Chinese if you don't want Indian. Excellent choice of desserts with Indian desserts included, absolutely incredible
R. K.
I love all the items and staff they are good
S. H.
It was very tasty food and the staff was exceptionally friendly only not so good thing was that the coke was a little warm
A. J.
Food is tasty and service is great
p. r.
I really enjoyed myself
Encourage anyone to eat here
D. C.
Food was great. Huge range of dishes, not all spicy, varied desserts. Staff were lovely. Would be better if it was adults only though; small kids helping themselves and running about whilst not being adequately supervised by their parents are an accident waiting to happen. Would go back again, but maybe in the evening.
B. C.
Have been here a couple of times over the years, decent value and food generally fine (especially the desserts) have had the odd meh dish at busier times and staff can be a little short when they're met with drunken stag do goons (which is understandable!) Can do a lot worse round the quays however.
Q. u. a.
Food was amazing .. from starters to dessert.too many options for both veg and non veg. Desserts were not veryy good apart from icecream and gulab jaman .... Enjoyed alot ..
M. S.
Good halal restaurant. Food is fresh well cooked and great variety. They have reduced spice on demand from customers.
S. J. K.
Very Good Restaurant. Worth of price and food quality is also good. 👏👏
A. E.
Whats not to like.there's something to please everyone. Its clean and very efficiently run.
M. H.
A very honest staff member handed our group a £10 note which he found under our table . Thanks
A.
We went here for my daughters birthday. It was a large party and the restaurant was very accommodating. There is a huge selection of foods that are also pretty delicious. It's not as spicy as I like but the dishes I tried were quite tasty. I'll definitely have to pay another visit as there was so much selection
S. C.
This restaurant only have buffet. About half of the dishes are good. Recommend to try once.
M. H.
Very nice.. deffo recommended.. very wide variety of food and desserts. Staff are incedible too..
M. B.
Amazing food! Only restaurant where you can get authentic Indian taste
R. R.
Good flavour in all the food. Good atmosphere too. Enjoyed it.
Z.
Great selection of really tasty food. Great for vegetarians.
K. R.
Excellent food staff very helpful.
D. H.
Really good as usual! Soft drinks are now free and bottomless. Lentil and vegetable curry were both new to me and delicious. I tried 5 different mains and 10 puddings and then couldn't move for the rest of the day! It's cheaper before 5pm so great value too!
C. S.
Not usually a fan of buffets but I must say this was delicious and will definitely be back.
R. T.
Excellent all you can eat Indian. The home-made style dishes were really tasty.
We didn't have to wait long for food either.
I always think it is good sign if there are lots of Asian people eating in the restaurant. They were right. It was really good.
v. y.
Good place.. to have some Indian food
P. S.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Aneesa's. A surprisingly large restaurant, with a nice decor. They have a huge selection of food on offer, the majority being Indian with a few others (pizza), all kept hot under silver cloches. I like to try a small piece of as many dishes as I can, and then get another plate of those I enjoyed the most. The night I was there the Lamb ribs and Tandoori chicken wings were absolutely delicious, and required an extra visits. Definitely recommend for anyone who is a fan of Indian food. My meal with a drink came to £20.
S. H.
Absolutely beautiful food friendly staff
B. N.
Nice buffet restaurant. Good tolerance and nice service. It’s better place for a family reunion
K. H.
Nice restaurant with a variety of food. The price of the open buffet is very reasonable as you will have food, fruit, dessert and ice cream. Clean and spacious place. The only point to worry about is if you are not one of the spicy-food fans as we all know the Indian food is relatively spicy.
B. C.
Aneesas has always been good, they do an amazing roast dinner, look at the Yorkshire puddings!
D. W.
So many options to choose from I really really enjoyed the buffet and I really enjoyed the deserts as well they are absolutely gorgeous but the only thing that ever happened was food poisoning from some Indian meat or something like that and we don’t know why it happened because it’s so nice that Indians and I really like the stuff because you get such a decent table from them and you’re like so close to the Buffy you know where you are and everything is really really decent and you want something decent Ann is the only decent Buffet I know I Newcastle
s. k.
The foods quite nice. Just some of them a little bit spicy and salt. The price quite expensive especially in the weekend...
k. h.
I was pleasantly surprised how nice this place was and also how nice the food was. I had a nice chicken tikka curry with egg fried rice and extra pieces of the tikka. Then a Sunday Dinner beef and Turkey with all trimmings. Finally a desert some ice cream and it was good ice cream really good.
S. C.
surprisingly good food, fantastic variety
A. A.
Nice food close to being worth the price
P. J.
Truly amazing food. You can get the real taste of India will all the delicious foods
M. C.
Was a Saturday lunch buffet. Very welcoming staff. Tour of food etc given. Very nice choice of seating. Windows, tables, booths. Food choice pretty varied. A more even split of Indian and Chinese may be better. Was well pleased though.
M. U.
What an amazing food and staff enjoyed every bit of it. Not very over crowded where staff was very professional as soon as we are finished they took the plates off and cleaned the table so we can have our next munch. Would love to visit it again one day.
S. B.
Food is amazing, lots of choice! Can watch the chefs cooking pizza, kebab, stir fry, staff are very welcoming & friendly. Doesn’t take long for them to take your finished plate. Good variation of dessert!
A. R.
Lots of varieties, good food.
S.
Clean and smart venue with friendly and efficient staff. We enjoyed the all you can eat buffet which offered a good variety of choses including traditional English pub grub as well as Chinese cuisine. Never going to be Michelin star food but at the price you pay this represents great value for money. The desert section was also really good.
A. A.
Very tasty freshly cooked food. There are so many options to choose from, you will leave satisfied to the fullest. There is a happy hour till 6pm but even after the price is reasonable. The service was excellent friendly and helpful. I'm definately going there again.
A. Y.
Love love love it, foods great and the staff are too
A. K.
A good place for someone who is hungry and loves Indian food. It has a small section for Chinese and some pizza. The best thing about this expansive buffet is it is fairly cheap but tasty and the starters themselves will fill your stomach. £14 for adult and £8 for child. The menu is the same throughout the year with only changes now and again the Biriyani variety and Lamb curry.
a. a.
Best Indian buffet place I've been to. I have not been to the quayside one in a while as I usually go to the one in South Shields which is equally great. Food tastes lovely as always and I'd definitely go back again. I personally preferred when they had the noodle bar as you could get noodles made the way you want them to but the dessert bar was a nice touch. First time I've seen Aneesa's serve waffles which was good, could do with some nuttela being available with it though.
P. B.
Food was ok , all the starters we tried were dry and did not pleasant our palette. Mains were ok too curry’s were average but haleem , paya and nihari were awesome . Rice course was a bit dry too was hoping for a hyderbadi biriyani but it had a dry fried rice .Deserts were decent too. I would come again but not with excitement though as starters and main course did not give me that craving feel. But worth for what you pay 💰
D.
Alot of the starters were luke warm and not hot enough to enjoy. Dessert section is nothing special either.
C. L.
Aneesa’s Newcastle is superb. There’s a vast selection of Indian & Chinese fare.
It’s very child-friendly, the prices are reasonable, the quality of food is very good and the dessert bar is so attractive. The staff here are friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Ideal for solo travellers (bring a big hunger!) and families, too.
Lastly, it’s very easy to find as it’s quayside.
Wish they’d open one of these in London. Thoroughly recommend.
R. M. A.
Service, staff are great and friendly. If you're a fan of spicy foods, you can try it here. Most of the foods they have is spicy, not that spicy though but really good. I really love all of the foods served in the restaurant esp the desserts.
S. S. P. (.
My Goodness ! They undoubtedly have the best Buffet spread in New Castle. Prices are very reasonable. You have so much to choose from starting from Starter to Dessert. I have been there with family including Kids and they loved it too. Very close to Famous Millennium Park. Must go if you are in New Castle.
C. H.
Lots of choice I enjoyed tikka masala curry, they had roast beef dinner on and the beef was lovely and tender the hot desserts were nice as well I tried a few others things that I have never tried before. Nice friendly staff lovely clean restaurant. First time there would definitely return.
S. L.
Was very good food. So many choices
M. K.
It's my first time having dinner at Aneesa and I must say I am very delighted to have authentic Indian food. The range of dishes are quite good and delicious as well. I am with my friends for farewell this would be perfect gift. Will keep visiting
V. K.
Great food! Loads to try. Its freshly made and delicious
M. L.
This was our first time at Aneesa's and it was really impressive. When we walked in a very kind man called Stephen showed us around the buffet so we knew where everything was before getting started. The food was all very high quality (and hot, which is rare at a buffet!). The desserts were also really nice. We will definitely be returning soon and trying all the things we didn't have room for.
s. n.
Kunal bro service is very very good ❤️💯💯💯💯
I recommend everyone to come and have a service with kunal bro
A. Y.
One of the best Indian buffet restaurants out there.
Delicious lamb dishes
J. T.
I only made it to the starters section of which there are alot of, tandoori wings, lamb kebab.
Brilliant atmosphere and food.
T. N.
Really nice food here, good service, and clean restaurant. The Indian dishes are delicious and you can eat as much as you like. The skewed chicken tikka pieces are my favourite! Will definitely be back. ✌️
S.
Not many main course options for vegans. Thy should definitely bring in more variety for snacks - vegetarian ones. The pizza , fries, pakodas are tasty but a change in menu will be pleasant delight for frequent visitors.
A. W.
Excellent. Food is exsquisit. Indian food is very fine, and even for picky eaters who don't like the food Aneesa's are there to showcase, they do full roast dinners on a Sunday, and other options such as pizzas, Chinese food, chicken nuggets and typical kids food. Unlimited soft drinks in with the price is a great move! Desserts are a total delight aswell. Bar also caters well with draughts, bottles, cocktails and more. Definately worth a try. Staff friendly and attentive.
T. H.
If you are are looking for authentic Pakistani food ,this is the place for you.amazing food .great variety of dishes, spoiled for choise.highly recommen.staff very friendly,
t. a.
Very nice tasty food. It is open buffet with fixed reasonable price. All food is Halal also vegetarians options available.
Good place for families with kids as well good for groups. Helpfull staff.
Suitable price. You will forget it you will come back again when visiting Newcastle and it will be you first choice
A. M.
Lovely as always. Excellent & attentive staff. Great choice of good food at a great price. Soft drinks or water are available in with the buffet price now. Brilliant if you have children
D. C.
I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Top class on food, service, and choice. Most helpfull staff always friendly, the place is as clean as a whistle, food is constantly checked by the manager on duty. And as a bonus if you go on Sunday there is a Sunday lunch on which beats any other in Newcastle.
Well done Aneesa
S. B.
Decent quality food and friendly staff, but as always, ate far too much
J. G.
I love this place, the food is excellent but now spoiled by latest Covid restrictions. Wednesday night, 8pm 4 people dining including me. I feel so sad for this place, its had the life ripped out of it. I sincerely wish you well in the future.
N. P.
Brilliant buffet restaurant. My husband and I visited this restaurant whilst in Newcastle for a few nights and were not disappointed. There was lots of choice and the food was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We visited on a week night at 4pm so the meal was very reasonably priced as well. We will visit here again when we are next in Newcastle.
J. D.
Really good variety of food, nice environment and friendly staff. Great value!
G. W.
Very nice place and helpful staff, wonderful selection of food. 👍
B. P.
There is a huge range of food to choose from including pizza and pasta as well as all of the Indian dishes. The staff are really accommodating and lovely. You really get your money's worth and there's a good atmosphere to the place.
M. T.
All you can eat Indian buffet. Need a will of iron to control the impulse grab. I'm inclined to just hit the wide range of starters from the Indian range. There is a big range of main courses and plenty of potato and pizza choices with salads. Horrible huge range of deserts, which stress the boundaries of how much a body can take. I did overdo it and paid the price! I shall return!
J. P. B.
Bang on really. Love an Indian and my first time to Newcastle people raved about the place and it's lived up to expectation. 2 all you can eat and 2 refillable soft drinks for less than £35. I'd gladly travel the 200+ miles just for another meal from here.
J. L.
Food's good for the price and for it being a buffet, not amazing, but good. Don't be fooled by the "it's really hot"claim from the bloke on the wok, it's not even remotely hot, nice though (ask him for less oil). Staff are really nice, good choice, good pint of Kingfisher, the rice flour pudding is a good desert, honestly though, don't eat too much (of everything), you'll suffer badly, if you're off out afterwards, you'll struggle walking for a good hour or 2, the Baltic's a good, relaxing way of lightly walking the food off. Well worth a visit.
S. K.
My friend took me here for a meal. Loved the atmosphere. Kids loved it too. Good variety of food. Great service and staff were very friendly. Would definitely go again.
T.
Great variety of options and lovely atmosphere
I. D.
Absolutely loved this place. 1st time here its clean, the smells coming from here are just divine. Your food is always hot not like some buffets where your food is luke warm. The food is lovely and the service is good.
A. L.
Fantastic quality and price with a large selection of dishes and friendly staff. It is located near the quayside and I was a multi-storey car park near by which only costs £1 per hour. a very large restaurant with plenty of seating so booking should not normally be required.
E. K. C. S.
Nice Indian cuisine buffet. I ate till I drop. Worth for sometime for craving for Indian food.
J. D.
Ate here while on a tour in July. I've had Indian buffets in the U.S., none of which come close to this place. I was very impressed by the fact that there was so much to choose from that the waiter felt obliged to give me a tour when I came in. Everything I had was delicious. The chicken tikka masala was easily the best I've had. My only complaint is that I ate too much, but I suppose that's my fault.
R. K. R. K.
After the lockdown, one of my friends has taken me to this restaurant. Due to the Covid-19 regulations, the buffet was served to the table. Nice service and a lot of Indian food.
J. H.
Absolutely beautiful food nd sweets were devine will be returning again 😋
G. W.
Good range of OK food with something for everyone, even if you don't like Indian cooking. I had a nice vegetable curry, some Bombay Potatoes that felt rather underdone and some chicken and masala fish pieces that tasted a little dried out. It was all good and the price fair, but I've had and made better, fresh. That said range is excellent: it took me a good few minutes to explore and just decide what to eat. It's especially good if some in your party just want pasta or ice cream or even fish fingers and chips. And they had a good birthday offer with cake, candles and happy birthday played over the loudspeakers, so ask them about that.
Most nights I'd rather just order what I want from somewhere brilliant, but for a group or family, Aneesas is good
D. M.
Most of the food here was a good quality and there was a wide range but it's not so good if you're a fussy eater or don't like spicy food. There were also next to no desserts except a fruit salad and some jellies. Apart from that it was a nice place with friendly staff.
M. E.
Great food, very busy to make sure to reserve. Service could be a little better.
Been going to annesa since their first branch. This one is another level of success and greatness extending their empire. Wish them best of luck and hope they maintain their food quality.
W. R.
Superb range of meat/ vegetables dishes, excellent starters
D. H.
Great food and wide selection but new methods make ordering desert aekward
J. C.
Located in a quiet part of the town. Not to impressed with the early menu not many actual curries to choose from! The kebab/grill foods they have are really good and a decent range. Drinks are at a really good price. Plenty parking around. Decor is fabulous. Even the ice cream machine is top of the range (Carpigiani made!). Biryiani was worse I have ever eaten though, it was as if the buffet warmer was not working as the rice had adsorbed literally all moisture and the food was clay cold, just biryiani though. Room for improvement but will be back.
Z. Q.
If you are visiting Newcastle and looking for Pakistani food than Aneesa is the best choice. Lot of variety of food. Efficient staff and friendly atmosphere is on top of good food.
Variety of food is not even available in Pakistani restaurants which are offering buffet lunch or dinner.
Must visit Restaurant. Highly recommended.
S. B.
Food was amazing. Good choice and fullof flavour. Great choice of delicious dessert too. Would highly recommend. Staff all very pleasant and helpful.
S. A.
Loved the whole experience, outstanding service from staff and beautiful food.
F. A.
Beautiful food, plenty of choice including dessert. Extremely clean restaurant and staff so welcoming and friendly. We even got a little tour of where everything was, starters, mains etc. And the price was amazing value. Can't wait to go back 😊
A. B.
I like Aneesa over any other Indian / Asian buffet restaurant because of the variety and taste (quality ~ closest to actual Indian taste). I always prefer curries on the bone which I rarely find in any of the restaurants. Overall it's very good - this time I liked the Desi Lamb Curry on the bone.
S. A.
For a buffet this place was alot better than what I expected. Food was great, it was what you would expect as having home cooked meal.
Service was great, alot of staff at hand always keeping the place clean, dishes topped up and just generally helpful in answering any questions.
Well worth the trip to aneesa's (no matter where you are in the country).
a. a.
Good food with good variety.
N. H.
My favourite buffet in Newcastle. Took my family over there when they came to visit me on my birthday from my back home. They all loved it, everyone enjoyed food. Friendly stuff as well.
K. M.
Fresh, extremely clean and convenient location. Staff are great and prices are reasonable!
I've been here 5 minutes and seen every hot plate checked twice already by a member of staff which I like
r.
Best all you can eat curry. Not had a bad dish ever. Caters for all people.
J. H.
Good Indian buffet food. The other offerings (pizza, Chinese, chicken nuggets..) look pretty poor tbh but it is funny watching people eat Indian curry with a slice of pizza on top.. it's cheap, plentiful and good service so can't complain. Bit aggressive with the plate collection but considering the set up here it's to be expected.
M.
Average food. Nice to have the open buffet option though as a change
R. S.
i love food here because of varieties of food selection .i stopped going here since few weeks because of this one gal anisha everytime i come across her very rude n unprofessional behaviour ,bullying and laugh on back with other member of staff at reception area .
there are many number of accident happened with this gal.
i feel akward going to annesha anymore i used to go with family member and friends all the time on various ocassion birthdays to anniversiries xmas
they have good chef who r helpful n provide good service .but once u treated badly sorry to say once actually twice or thrice with same girl whose a staff there n not welcoming n rude
definitely big no to this place
. we all stopped going there 🙁
J. G.
Phenomenal Indian style buffet! This place counter's any misguided poor opinions about buffet food and proves that the variety that comes with all-you-can-eat doesn't have to compromise in quality or taste! They even do some non-indian dishes so everyone can have a good time! Originally from South Shields, I can be a bit of a curry snob myself, but Aneesa's is a great experience a one I would (and have) recommend to anyone!
R. D.
Good value, plenty of choice. It is a buffet and mass produced so if its fine dining your after look elsewhere. Be prepared for the staff circling your table and removing plates the instant they think you are done 😐
M. H.
Went to try this restaurant as I haven't really experienced Indian food so never know what to order when getting a take away. My goodness it was like willy wonkers factory of indian food all you can eat buffet the chicken tikka was amazing also a choice of pizza, Chinese and chips, nuggets ect so something for even the picky eaters or children cant wait to go back again.
N. R.
Food was amazing although a little spicy for the kids. Dessert were nice alot of choices. Not much service though but it was extremely busy on good Friday.
R. H.
Excellent selection of starters and puddings. Not so many mains but certainly enough. Every item tasted was up to scratch and staff were attentive and numerous. All foods well presented even though this is a buffet. Not sure the corn chips (nachos) and prawn crackers/pizza are necessary but certainly more choice is simply a bonus. Worth the 11 quid a head. Note certain foods will be prepared on request such as vindaloo and phaal curries.
I. F.
Don't normally do all-you-can-eat buffets as the quality of food is normally just average to bad. Two of my mates recommended this place and you won't be disappointed. There is a large selection of starters and desserts along with an ice cream vending machine but the piece de resistance is the sheer selection of rice dishes and curries that you can try. There is a vast selection and the quality of the food is very high. I'm normally quite good at curbing overeating but on this occasion I couldn't help it. This place has a great reputation and the staff are really friendly. It's also a decent size place so can cater for large parties. Take some rennie antacid tablets with you because you definitely will want to try everything
U. B.
Best Pakistani Halal food in the city. Excellent location and decor. Great service too. The only downside is that food should be hotter and desserts need to be improved at lot. They should get their desserts from Fazal sweet centre which has the best Pakistani mithai (asian sweets and desserts) in the North East.
d. l.
Have eaten here twice this weekend and on each visit to Newcastle since the sumner time till recently. Food was terrific lots n lots to choose from, nice helpfull friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back on my next visit. See you all very soon .
V. R.
We went on Thursady 02 October 2014. Not being one for buffets I was persuaded to go by my daughter. I must say I was blown away with the experience. The service was excellent, the food was great, the surroundings thoroughly modern and the atmosphere fantastic. The place was full with people from different backgrounds such as works parties, groups of lads, couples, families with kids and Indians (not those from the wild west - sioux). The food was of the highest standard from a great range of starters to a multiple choice gorgeous curries to a mouth watering choice of gateaux and sweets. I was pleasently surprised when I received the bill for £60 for three, this included 3 glasses of wine, 1 bottle of cider, 1 gin and tonic, 1 pint of lager and all you could eat. Absolutely fantastic value. I have to mention our waiter 'Love' he was very entertaining and very enthusiastic. I took my wife there for her birthday with my daughter, we had a fantastic time. If you are looking for something different, excellent food and relatively cheap then get yourself there with your mates.
C. H.
Great service, amazing food, all time favourite place to eat
D. L.
Before Annesa's was at the Quayside, we used to travel to the one in South shields. This Quayside is much easier for us to get to, and I must say it is absolutely delicious!
There is an amazing choice of food here, and a lovely looking stir fry bar too (which I haven't tried yet). The starters are amazing, and I should say most times I don't actually get past the starters and Pizza!!
You definitely get your moneys worth in this place. Stunning food, beautiful restaurant and friendly staff.
A. C.
Fantastic Food and lovely staff
K. K.
My favourite indian buffet, variety of food like kebabs, tikka, rice, curries, pizza, chips, veg, somosa's, biriyani, chinese made once you choose ingredients and so many bite size desserts. Cheesecake, fudgecake, ice cream, kheer, custard and cake. I can never manage to eat mains after the starter because im so full. So never mind desert. Its a great place for families.
V. H.
Loved it! Delicious food, great variety and even the desert options were nice. My boys thoroughly enjoyed trying different foods too.
S. R.
Slightly hidden away near the quayside but very glad we discovered it. Great meal all very well presented and cooked, dishes are hot and regularly replenished absolutely loads of choice just make sure you are hungry. £14.95 per head, 2 hours to eat as much as you want. Will visit again.
d. w.
My daughter took me here for my birthday and I can only describe the food as outstanding, the choices on offer are unbelievable. The different choice of fayre is astounding and children are well catered for. A huge five from me.
T. A.
Great value for money. The BBQ was tasty and nan breads were fresh and hot. The desert spread was really good and lychee jelly was the highlight of the lunch
C. H.
First time and i was surprised jow clean and open spaced it is where most places are cramed together here there is lots of space and the curries i dont normally like korma but the meat was that tender it wad coming aprt in your mouth. Friendly staff
M. E.
A big space the food was good but maybe it is me that got the feeling of disorganised place
A oid sitting next to the kitchen as the smell is too strong and cloths catches it. Staff are polite, food is good prices are decent but they should stop serving coca cola in the jug
B. C.
Love the selection of foods on offer, Indian, Chinese and plenty of vegan options too. And soft drinks included in the price. What more could you ask for.
K. T.
Very clean and tidy, very airy. Good range of Indian buffet food, and lovely selection of little desserts. Reasonable priced. Worth a visit.
D. V.
We stayed, as a large family group, in the Travelodge above this restaurant and not for the first time! One of our party, my sister, has Coeliac Disease. We went out looking for somewhere to eat along the Quayside. We knew she could eat in Wetherspoons (curry), but there were no seats. Walked back and decided to see if we could eat here. The staff were very accommodating and showed her an extensive allergens menu. Such delicious food and so nice that she had so much choice! Thank you!
e. d.
Always a pleasure to eat there
P. P.
Food was excellent, however it's not a sofisticated dining experience and the noise echo's throughout the expansive building.
The staff are really pleasant tho and on reflection the place was busy with happy customers.
a. g.
Love Indian food?? You will love this place!! Not great for other types of buffet but more than make up for it with its quality of Indian foods. A must to check out. ^_^
M. L. A.
Good place to eat out with family and friends
M. C. S.
My first Indian buffet experience. Pleasantly surprised, normally with buffet you don't expect good quality food that tastes great but this was completely the opposite. Great food in a different atmosphere made this a great dining out experience
J.
I usually thought it's only Chinese restaurants that offer buffet. But here's one run by different people, (not sure where they're from but NOT British or Chinese or African). I loved their meals & setting during a wedding reception. Outstanding buffet, keep it up.
M. N.
Very good buffet, reasonable price, variety of food dishes, their staff is trolly amazing and helpful.
In my opinion the best buffet in town.
All the chicken and beef are Halal which makes it.

Huge selection. Must be 30 starter dishes, 15 mains and 20 deserts to choose from. Shame the curries are the lowest quality of the lot but still tasty but could be better.

Really nice

After the lockdown, one of my friends has taken me to this restaurant. Due to the Covid-19 regulations, the buffet was served to the table. Nice service and a lot of Indian food.
K. T.
Very clean and tidy, very airy. Good range of Indian buffet food, and lovely selection of little desserts. Reasonable priced. Worth a visit.
R. A. S.
Delicious food with a great range. I would say it's the best Desi buffet restaurant in Newcastle.
N. H.
My favourite buffet in Newcastle. Took my family over there when they came to visit me on my birthday from my back home. They all loved it, everyone enjoyed food. Friendly stuff as well.
R. E.
Best halal buffet restaurant in Newcastle!
You find most kind of food you want not only Indian food.
Me n my family always enjoy going there

Service, staff are great and friendly. If you're a fan of spicy foods, you can try it here. Most of the foods they have is spicy, not that spicy though but really good. I really love all of the foods served in the restaurant esp the desserts.
K. C.
Really great variety of food, authentic Pakistani tasting dishes as well as British curries. Good selection of starters, grill, salads, sides, mains and desserts from Indian / Pakistani menu. They also have a few good alternatives from rest of world with pizza choices, mexican food & chinese stir fry.
Great value for money and parking is free after 5 in Quay Side multi story until midnight.
R. B.
Excellent food, everything was fresh and tasted Devine. I totally recommend Aneesa's we will defiantly be going back. The service was perfect due to highly motivated staff especially Stephen. He took the time to chat and tell us more about the place 😀
K. G.
Is it just me or others noticed that the one in South Shields years ago food used to be better. Noticed russian salad and it's no way near the taste should be. And lack of variety of food. I mean meats. Keep coming back but getting disappointed.
C. H.
The best buffet restaurant that I've been to in the country! Great to have such a wide range of dishes including some amazing vegetarian curries and side dishes. Great staff too.
S. C.
5 for the service and environment. However seems I don’t like Indian food...
G. P.
Largest Indian buffet in the north east. Never let us down. Plenty of veggie options and pizzas and chips to go by as well. Happy to recommend.
J. S.
Great service and great choice of food. There is something for everyone here, not just Indian food. I'm not sure why I never knew about this place before, I will defiantly be visiting again.
J. T.
Went for the lunchtime special all you can eat buffet. £7.95 for an adult and so much choice. Tremendous quality too. Only disappointment was that the ice cream machine was off.
M. M.
Food here is amazing and the staff are lovely, my only critique is that the air conditioning could be turned up a bit more, I ate next to nothing as I was so hot and bothered which was really disappointing considering we paid around £15 per person.
a. a.
No1 buffet in Newcastle, love this place. The food and service is always great.
J. R.
The food is very good for a buffet kind of service. It can be very noisy since it is often frequented by large groups and families with children. Staff is nice.

By far the best buffet restaurant I've ever been to. A huge selection and the food is of a very high quality. Comfortable atmosphere that feels like a traditional restaurant unlike most buffets and very friendly, helpful staff.

Loads of selection from Western, Asian and Indian food. Located near the Quay. Parking is a bit of a nightmare in the multi storey nearby, would recommend parking at Dean Street and walking down. Staff were really friendly and helpful, massively busy so might be worth booking ahead if there’s a lot of you going..
G. W.
Delicious food, loads to choose from. Good service and very friendly staff.
A. G.
If you variety and too many options..Aneesa is the must visit place for you..

You will find good Indian food and price is quite less for 100 options with unlimited serving..

It's a alright place to eat. Mixture of self-service Indian, Chinese foods on offer. All you can eat buffet type setup. Food quality seems good.
F. S.
One of the few places I love to eat at while in town. I actually avoid eating Indian most of the year as I don't have any decent places where I live. The lamb shish kabob and tika masala are my favorite items.
C. S.
The selection of food is quite varied with some very tasty curry dishes, lots of different naans, and very tasty laasi drinks!
There is also a selection of pizzas, chips, chicken nuggets, and other fried foods available for kids who don't like spicy food.
a. w.
Great food and excellent service

Good choice of food. If you like Indian food then it's a good place to go.
Now drinks are included in the buffet so you can drink as much pop as you want.
D. B.
The best buffet in town, specialist in authentic Indian cuisine. Sunday dinners are really nice too, followed by tikka masala, rice, nann, then a Chinese followed by five or six desserts.
K. G.
Booked up for 28 people with no problem. Had 30 people turn up and seated with no problem. 50th party went perfect and food is fab. Staff awesome. Defo 5 star

Aneesa'a is the best Indian eateries that I have been to, in Newcastle. Great quality food in a light and spacious food-hall. No rush and a first-class dining experience.

Excellent buffet restaurant. Normally buffets I find compromise on quality but aneesas food is beautiful. Nice decor and brilliant location next to the millennium bridge and river Tyne. Deffo recommend.

Excellent food. Better than every other all-you-can-eat I've been to for the same, if not less, money. The masala fish is GORGEOUS, as are the salads.
