Halal fried chicken in China town just outside st James park. Quick and friendly service, very reasonably priced and large portion sizes. Would but the the quality of chicken up there with KFC

Great price for easy delivery. Or, quick pickup while im in town. Love this place!!! Beware that they tend to confuse spicy and nonspicy chicken strips, so wraps and chicken strip boxes can be a mixed spicy&nonspicy experience regardless of what u ordered. Not a problem for me personally, I honestly don't notice since I also get peri peri fries, but I have a friend who doesnt like spicy food who it's a problem for. But this isnt their review!! it's 5 stars from me

This place is like a cross between Nandos and KFC. The food is excellent and reasonably priced! I had half a chicken with excellent seasoning and sauce, fries and a cup of vimto for just over 6 quid. Would definitely recommend and return when next in the area.

Food was fresh and tasty , price was great. Customer service was good as well , my only comment would be to have someone cleaning the tables.. .this was constantly an issue with ppl entering the shop, requesting their table be cleaned.

Simply THE best grilled chicken! I have tried many other establishments in other towns/cities in the hope that they can match the food here, and none have come close. Everything about it is fantastic. The chicken is charred, slightly spicy, but incredibly succulent. the chips are perfectly crispy, and the lemon wedges and chilli sauce you receive with the grilled chicken are the perfect accompaniments. All this (half chicken) with a drink (they even do Irn-Bru!) for under £5. Forget Nandos, go here! I currently live in Blackpool and miss this place massively, I have to visit at least twice when in Newcastle.

Absolutely fantastic, best grilled chicken by far. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our team have made it a weekly lunch spot. Twelve years on and just visited again, great customer service and food.

Food was absolutely good and fresh, friendly staff was able to save me few quid on selecting appropriately from menu. Only down side, no hand washing facility which is a must when handling grill, barbecue chicken.

Really really nice.... Defo finger lickin good. Service was great...really fast now that and time exact. Food was freshly cooked as per order. Only issue the food is pricey comparing to other chickens shops! But don't let that hold you back! Mmmmmm 🍗🍗🍗🍗

Miles better than KFC, Dixy Chicken and the rest. Their Mega Bonanza meal is delicious and the amount of stealth fries you get is phenomenal. I don't know why they're called 'stealth fries'. My colleagues and I regularly go there for lunch and the guy there is very friendly and always waves to my friend Lee.

Great BBQ meals, I love the wings they do, always great to come here around lunch times on weekdays and reasonably priced meals. Gets quite busy on Friday and Saturday evenings, from my experience.

Whilst the chicken can be greasy at times it is not as greasy as places like KFC and dixy chicken and I prefer the chips to here, it is also quite cheap and fulfilling meal can only be £5. The reason for 4 stars however is that it is quite small and the toilets are extremely small.

CHICKEN COTTAGE IS AN INDIAN RESTAURANT IN THE GALLOWGATE AREA OF NEWCASTLE. THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT, I HAVE BEEN THERE MANY TIMES. IT IS VERY ECONOMIC AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE BECAUSE IT HAS PLENTY OF CUSTOMERS ALL DAY LONG.

Best takeaway in Newcastle upon Tyne. Top quality service all fresh produce made to perfection. The finest ingredients and marinades, this is why they won the award for best chicken cottage franchise in the UK 2015.

In the past they did not fill the drinks fully but they have improved recently and are giving full sized drink potions. Big portions of tasty fries!!!
