Lovely fish and chips, the batter is light and crisp, the chips are perfectly cooked and not greasy. One of the best things about my first visit was that the staff were friendly, having a chat with me and new I had not been before which to me shows that they care for their customers. I'll be going back, great service!

Saw this chip shop by chance, for a very late lunch. The homemade fish cakes are the best fish cakes we have ever tasted ! Chips were great, freshly cooked and great prices. 5 stars all round and we will absolutely be back now we have found such great food here! Can recommend.

Lovely clean chunky chips 🍟 Good quality potatoes - NOT swimming in grease - cooked in Chip and Fish's immaculately clean deep fat fryers (trust me, you can always tell). I heard some excellent reviews about it so decided to try it myself, best fish and chips I’ve had. The fish was perfect, lovely and crispy and the chips were bang on. Another thing was the curry sauce; I haven’t tried a sauce like it yet but throughly enjoyed it. It’s now my local chippy. 👍🏻

Firstly the service this chip shop provides is amazing everything was prepared freshly food was piping hot. Can’t say a bad word about anything I Bought from here. The pricing of there food is spot on in my opinion compared to other shops that charge a rip off. Highly recommended one of the best chippys going

Great chippy, often get my lunch here. Kebab or chicken wrap with chilli and chips is fantastic. Nice people working in there.

Tried Chip and Fish for the first time and was not disappointed. Ordered online in advance which was straight forward. Food was ready in time. Once back home we enjoyed the best Haddock and Chips in a long time. Well drained fish with crispy batter and a generous portion of chips. Served with a wedge of lemon, homemade Tartare sauce and a sample of their own curry sauce. Both sauces were very good.

Verrrrry good chips. You can always tell the quality of a place by the chips. Staff are lovely and friendly too. They very kindly gave me a free tester pot of their delicious new curry sauce as a sorry for a slow card machine, something totally out of their control but speaks volumes for the calibre of their customer service and food. Very happy bunny!

Visited after hearing good things, had fish & chips twice with cod bites & chips with peas & curry sauce on the side. It was delicious, fresh & well drained not greasy, chips were fab fish was large & really well cooked not dry at all, the home made curry sauce was delicious- def getting that again! Best-cooked chips I've ever tasted. Neither greasy nor soggy like many other chippies, but dry and separate. The shop is clean, bright and open and it's clear the management and staff care about quality and presentation - this makes a world of difference. Recyclable containers are a bonus. Puzzling name, though!

Ordered a tray of kebab and fish and chips the first time we came and they were the best we have ever tasted! Curry sauce was amazingly good. Staff were friendly and the owner was generous enough to give us free sauces. Will definitely go back again.

OK you were right. My first visit and the guy said we would love the food, but to let him know either way. Well it was a hit in or house. We all loved the food. Fish and chips with the most delicious tartar sauce. The curry sauce was different but lovely. Had a bit of a wait so would recommend ordering to collect and a bit more expensive than our usual but lovely fresh fish.

Literally the best fish and chips and Kebab meat I’ve had so far! Food are always cooked fresh. Even the sauces! Love the curry, garlic and chili sauces! Thanks to the staff for always giving us extra too. They’re all very nice and friendly! Would definitely recommend! 👍

Fish and Chips and Fish and Sausage with some cod bites were all freshly cooked on order. The food was all nice and we had a good laugh with the staff, talking about TV shows to watch on Netflix. The place was also very clean, which was lovely to see!

Lovely fish and chips really friendly staff probably the cleanest chip shop I've been in and the freebie taster of curry sauce was a good trick you are right it is amazing I'll definitely be back for a full portion. Bye bye waist line. Only down side was cash only not a big issue as cash machine just along the street but card option is handy.

First time in this new establishment and must say staff were very friendly . Getting back to my order which was Cod and chips and Fish bites and chips. Must said my fish was very fresh and chunky chips were lovely too . The Cod bites were also excellent with a tarta sauce. The owner offered a sample of his curry sauce which was hot fruity and delicious. Really enjoyed this takeaway 👍

This chippy opened locally so thought I would give it a try. The chippy is nicely designed, clean and staff really friendly. We had fish and chips plus a side of onion rings. I thought the meal overall was tasty and portion size good for the price. Only negative was fish wasn't that crispy and was abit dry under, maybe a little overdone but otherwise fine.

My first visit here, very clean and varied menu. I ordered the scampi, the young girl looked like she was just learning but nobody was supporting her. The gentleman seemed distracted by a customer who wanted to leave a review and was taking photos of everything and getting in the way! eventually another lady joined her to help and was very professional. She sorted our orders and kept her right. the food took a little too long because of all this. As for the food.... there was so much crammed in my box that the scampi was flattened by the time I got home and the promised "home made tartar sauce " was not there however the scampi was delicious, juicy and fresh and the batter nice and crispy, chips a bit pale for me. They also do not take card payments which meant a trip in the rain to a cash machine!!

The food, when it came, was good but had to wait 20 minutes from paying to being served. This was 7pm on a Friday and including myself there were about 7 customers, and 7 staff. To be fair the 2 ladies serving were very apologetic. Obviously had some sort of kitchen meltdown!

Exceptional Customer service with plenty of generosity and kind hearted attitude. I literally called the lady "brave heart ". I really believe the lady staff with a cheerful face and great heart deserves the best prize or reward from her employer. Had sausage and chips.very clean place no bun intended .as its new helps.really lovely friendly staff.my chips where great .but the sausages dont taste of any thing.really bland not the best. Twice had them almost hotdog like in texture .i know chippy sausages arent known for flavour but it should be looked into.cheers must try the fish next time they looked smashing.cheers
