Cute place… great ambience I’d say… we ordered the spicy chicken burger and the combo meal for the fried chicken! Totally would recommend! Great flavours and the spice level was perfect! To be honest better than the other fried chicken places I have tried out in Newcastle! Totally would recommend to try them out. You can have the normal ones as well as the spicy ones!

I was excited to try Jollibee as I follow some mukbangers who eat it a lot but I didn’t realise you could even get Jollibee in this country! I ordered a hotdog, chicken tenders (with gravy) & a spaghetti. The guy taking my order was amazing and when he realised it was my first time ever trying Jollibee he added a selection of complimentary items to my order so I could really get to know the menu! He added a chicken burger, more chicken tenders, a portion of chicken joy (coated drumsticks), a mango ice cream and a coke!! 😱😰 So generous! If you’ve never been before it’s deffo worth a try! If you like kfc then I would recommend the tenders as they have a lightly spiced coating similar to kfc - but the gravy is more flavourful at Jollibee. The hotdogs here are halal too - a good treat if you don’t eat pork and you miss hotdogs! The hotdogs have a yummy sauce on and are really nice! My favourite was the spaghetti - the sauce is so flavourful and the pasta is cooked nicely - firm bite, not soggy or under salted which you might worry about if you’ve never considered having spaghetti from a fast food restaurant! They gave me so much free food I haven’t even managed to try the burger yet so I’m looking forward to that later. Really loved how invested the staff were in me having a nice experience and can’t recommend the restaurant enough. The other great thing here is they have a little sink for you to wash your hands after eating your fried chicken which is such a great idea and really welcome! It’s right where you throw away your rubbish and return your tray - it’s really well thought out! Truly a 5 star experience :) EDIT: seeing some reviews saying service is slow, staff uninterested, place dirty etc. I think management must have made some serious changes because when I went there service was very fast, staff were friendly and engaged, restaurant was clean and tidy and the atmosphere was great! 🥰💕

Visited here for the first time this week and loved it! Got the chicken burger which was one of the nicest I’ve had in a long time. Restaurant was quiet which was nice and staff were very friendly. Our server Dylan (if I’ve remembered right!) was so helpful. Will be visiting again soon.

Have been eating Jollibee on a regular basis both delivery and Takeaways. Mixed feelings. The flavours are really good and spice level is awesome, which is hard to find in the city somewhere else (correct me if m wrong).. Negatives: A bit overpriced I think (they increased the price recently). Definitely Slow Service (when u have multiple items), once waited for 50 mins for items that should be common and fast. In short, could be better and yes worth the hype.. 4 star justifies according to me.

Finally visited and unfortunately the reviews are correct. The food is not bad, I liked the spagetti (little too sweet for some people I think) and the chicken was indeed crispy, the spicy chicken sandwich was really nice too. However...management really really needs to start reading the reviews and do something about the problems this place has! Staff seem super untrained, very slow and confused. I felt so bad for the lady on the till, alone (!!!) while none of the kiosks were working and there was a massive queue. (MANY people left because of how slow sevice was). The lady on the till tried to take the situation with a laugh, bless her. The kitchen staff in the back looked extremely bored and uninterested in finishing the food on time. Everyone looked confused and so so slow! For the management: I would come back here for the food but won't for a while because of the poor service and the problem with the kiosks. You will loose customers and can shut down if you don't fix things asap.

Really great chicken and kind service. The aesthetic of the store is very beautiful. The chicken is super tasty and crispy, the spaghetti was nice and had a lovely flavour. Personally would reccomend to others looking for great fried chicken. I personally enjoyed it more than KFC. The other reviews don't reflect what I have experienced myself, I'd say to give this a go as I don't think you'll be dissatisfied!

Its not a fast food! Beware❗️if you go there starving then you will definitely blame yourself of being there since service is really sloooow🐌🐌. In contrast foods really taste good🍝🍗🍔. Spicy chicken is not that spicy though and the sizes became small as well comparing it few months back✌🏽

On Tuesdays there is music for the students. It’s loud , so if this is not your thing then choose another day. The food was good and the service was quick. So the opening teething problems have been resolved. Brad the manager is a really nice guy who did everything to make up for the loud music. Yes we went on a Tuesday 🙄

They had some problem in the beginning when they first opened, but they've mostly sorted them out now. The staff are friendly and the spicy chicken burger is so good! much better than KFC. The spaghetti is just edible nothing more.

I went to jolibees after first trying it in London and can honestly say it did not disappoint, I was worried that like most franchises the food would not be as impressive as it was In London but was pleasantly surprised. The food was piping hot, the staff were so friendly and easy to approach and don’t get me started on the Siracha Mayo. It’s a breath of fresh air to have a different form of fast food from the OGs and would highly recommend trying it.

The food is good; chicken is crunchy and fries are crisp with the right amount of salt. Very nice indoor seating area and waiting area for food collection. However, food comes out quite slow and the music is so loud that you can barely hear the order number being called out. Gravy is also very watery. Apart from that, the food is quite tasty.

Service and Prices are great for this new Chicken eatery. The Filipino take on chicken, for me, wasn't as tasty as KFC, but it was less salty. There's a sweet taste in their batter, which I didn't like so much. The fries though are nice and being able to have a pineapple juice instead of the usual soft drinks was a big plus. I'd go back, to try the burgers and the mango and coconut sundae, so because of the sweet batter I had to deduct a star.

We visited Jolibee this evening. The food was delicious, the fried chicken meal was perfect - the chicken was nicely marinated and the crisp of the batter was perfect. Joanne who was cleaning the tables was very helpful and polite - nothing is too much trouble for her when she helped us swap over our cold fries, and cleaned our table when we sat down. Thank you Jolibee for a great family meal, we will be back.

The food was delicious, beats KFC hands down. The only reason it gets 3 stars is because it's a chaotic mess, there were far too many staff and the service was that off a snail, a employee was on the door im assuming to guide people in but he stood there with his blue gloves on quietly not guiding people which in itself was unnecessary. Then the staff at the to had a singular job, one to take order, one to collect order from heat rack, one to shout order and then someone else to hand the tray over. Overall a single mean took near 15 minutes to order, we had to ask a member of staff to clean a table.

It was ok. I had the 3pc chickenjoy meal and the chicken was fine. The flavour and seasoning of the chicken was okay, not as seasoned as KFC but still nice. I agree with their statement that the chicken is extra crispy however this should not mean the actual meat is dry 2/3 of my chicken pieces were dry and nowhere near as fresh as I'd have liked. No french fries?? Seriously!? Appreciate this place has only been open a week or two but no fries is criminal in any fast food joint. Only side alternative was plain boiled rice. On my way out I ordered a large coke for the road, waited nearly 10 mins to place my order despite there being only two people ahead of me. Then waited another 5/10 mins for my drink I asked the young lad serving if he could grab my drink as it's all I ordered was told he wasn't able too as he was just taking orders not preparing. He didn't then ask his colleague to grab it so was just forced to wait 10 minutes for a drink.

We went for lunch today and then later in the day got take away before heading home. During our dine in, there was a piece of blue plastic in one of our rice meals which, after further inspection was found out to be a cut piece of food prep gloves. We were almost finnished with the meal so didnt ask for a replacement but informed staff to be more careful next time. It wasnt until we got home we found out we were misisng the chicken from the 1pc chicken with spag that we ordered (we were only given spaghetti). Quite a let down considering we had to drive for 1 hr just to get to the place but still okay as these are flavors that remind us of home .

Spaghetti was disappointing: soggy, overcooked pasta with 2 slices of hotdogs and 2 little squares of ham. It was confusing as well cause my friend got 2tubs of gravy for 2pc.chicken joy while i didn't get any gravy with my 2pc.chickenjoy. I gave 3 stars because the Chickenjoy tasted exactly as i remembered it from my childhood in the Philippines. The prices are too expensive considering it is a fastfood place and it makes me wonder if Jollibee will be able to survive just capitalizing on Filipino expats' nostalgia.
