C.Go here all the time! Lol jeans is absolutely delicious. Really good burgers but the first time I went I opted for there famous steak platter. Everything I have ate and Drank from here has been delicious. The cocktails are beautiful just very expensive and no 241 deals otherwise I'd drink here all the time. Staff are great atmosphere is great too. Can I just say I've had louosianna fries and the prawn loaded fries and both are absolutely amazing! Prawn is deffo better but I will always upgrade my fries here. The home cut chips are phenomenal aswell. On the photos pictured is the Asain or korean chicken burger which I can't remember the name of sorry. Steak platter and that cocktails was beautiful.
S. C.Honestly, it was fine. I'm sure most people will really like it, but it's nothing special; better than places like Banyan and Las Iguanas. The cocktails are generally good, if a bit muddled with too many ingredients, and the burgers are underwhelming (based on the very plain salt beef one and the bland buffalo soldier), although they're probably above average. The music is also WAY too loud for a restaurant. That said, the menu has variety, it all tastes generally pretty good and the portions are very filling. The staff were also absolutely excellent and a highlight.

Though it was quite loud and cramped, it definitely deserves 5 stars for the menu and fold quality.
Firstly, this was the first time I'd seen Baja fish tacos on a menu in years (my favourite) and they were incredible. Everything was so fresh and the salsa on top was amazing.
Secondly, the variety on the burger menu made it so hard to choose! But that we did was delicious.
Furthermore, the sauces available were incredible, which always makes a meal even better!
The appetisers looked amazing, and if we lived here we would have gone again and again to try out everything.

C. S.Great food, good cocktails and friendly staff. Booking on a weekend is recommended. I had the baby got back burger with loaded tots, both were amazing bit I struggled to finish it off, go lighter of you want a starter or dessert.
c. i.I didn't really have any expectations of this place as it doesn't look much from the outside so I was pleasantly surprised when I finally went in. The bar is cosy and nicely decorated giving it a great atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and attentive, which is something many places seem to lack nowadays but always makes me want to return. They have a great selection of cocktails and the food is great, we had the Korean chicken tacos and they were delicious - lovely crispy chicken with a fiery kick to them. Definitely worth a visit.

A.Gone gradually downhill since we started going 5 years ago. Food now distinctly average for the price, in particular the steak platters which used to come with delicious vast salads topped with crispy onions and packed with veg, but now come with a sad looking bit of limp foliage and generic mayo dressing. Would happily pay a supplement for something better. The burgers too have failed to keep up with the increased competition in Newcastle, as such it won’t be somewhere we’re returning to in a hurry.

Food wasn't as good, still alright. The waitress asked if I'd like the burger a little pink in the middle or well done and I asked for pink. The burger I got was really well done and dry. Although I'm sure they would have replaced it, I was too hungry to complain and wait for another.

L.Extremely booked place however the food is spectacular and definitely worth the money. Only concern was the £1.50 for a small pot of BBQ sauce... bit of a stupid rule whem you're paying a high price for drinks and food but you gotta pay for abit of sauce too. Wonderful atmosphere and lovely sitting area.

Can't recommend Lola's highly enough, our last visit was probably the best so far, our server took special care to ensure our dietary needs were catered for. Everything was up to the typical high standards set by the multiple battle-of-the-burger winners.
The California is still the best burger available on any burger menu we've sampled so far, but the newer concoctions are vastly superior than any burger available elsewhere.
I'd gladly have a Lola's burger tattooed on me.

They need to source better... or sack the sommelier 🤭

The cocktail we ordered was different to that which came, foam replaced with squirty cream, 1st world problems I know, but no mention of the changes. And issue with the bill which was sorted. Nice meal, pleasant surroundings and staff.

After a bad experience with deliveroo at the weekend, we decided to try a collection from Lola Jeans and o have to say, I was impressed!
I don't think I can use the word amazing too many times. The burgers, chips, sauces, the chicken, the cocktails and not forgetting the service were all absolutely amazing!
I would highly recommend Lola Jeans and we will definitely be ordering again.

The inside decor is very unique and furnishings are different in style making it feel very niche and it has a extremely intimate atmosphere. The music playing reflects the type of food they serve, we both had burgers and triple cooked chips, the taste was amazing and the ingredients used were of a high standard. And very reasonably priced, would highly recommend to anyone who loves burgers to take a trip here Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, servers were very friendly and approachable, only draw back was the tables outside were slightly dirty with used ashtrays on them. The food came out quickly and was great quality.

They won and promoted my visit, once there I found the had won 3 years in a row. We had a fantastic meal and brilliant burgers. There was a mistake with our meal and it was rectified and the staff were helpful and refreshingly honest in their opinions. Great artwork on the wall and have craft beers and ales.

Food was absolutely delicious and the portion size was great too. Well priced and the service was top notch.

A. E.Group of around 12 of us pre ordered and booked a table. We got there and they asked if we would like them to start cooking the starters? Well we pre ordered so they should have already started but hey ho. Then 1 hour 10 minutes later they decided to give us our main course. Pre-ordering seemed a pointless excersice and they got some of it wrong. They gave us 10% off the bill for the trouble. The food isn't bad, it's pretty nice but nothing spectacular. The double patties in the burgers are about the same thickness as s normal burger in other places. I've been. Not bothered if I don't go back. Most beers are IPA's with a couple of lathers. No guiness or beers that are not IPA.

P. D.Located in Newcastle City centre next to the Theatre Royal is a great place to meet for drinks and a snack or for a meal at any time of day. Two floors which are completely different. 1st floor open and spacious with a long bar and open tables and chairs, down stairs smaller rooms with easy chairs and a more intermit feel. Good service from nice staff. Try the Korean crispy chicken wraps with a spicy salad. Very nice and prices reasonable. Also a vast choice of Gins.

G.Drinks are lush and food is ok. We had BBQ sauce that was so sweet it spoiled all of the dishes for us. Everything well priced for town, staff are ok - no real personality from them, but they do their job!

Y. E.Went tonight as part of restaurant week. The place looks good, the staff look good but the service and food were not up to my standard. Lots of identical salad on both the side and main. My calamari was under seasoned and my main (chicken platter) was boring with a lack of seasoning and bitesized pieces. My husband's starter (Philly cheese steak spring rolls) had meagre ingredients and his main (Buffalo Soldier) had so much hot sauce as to make it difficult to eat. He sat with an empty beer all meal and the waitress asked if I was finished my desert when I had food on my plate and my spoon in my hand.
Maybe I'm being unfair in three stars but after a beautiful meal the night before at Côte for the same price where the service was great I am hated to give more.
I wish them well but this type of restaurant is not for me.

M. R.Lovely place. Staff and service lovely. However, a bit of a health and safety issue regarding toilets. Very dark staircase leading to them and downstairs. Maybe help if a sign was put up to show where they are and some lighting for safety reasons.
