Reviews of Maguires Fish & Chips
L. R.Can't fault the food or the portions sizes - it was huge and really nice. However the place needs a deep clean, the resturant was rather mucky and it was very off putting. The restaurant door was propped open too with all takeway customers adjacent to our table, we wouldn't return to the restaurant but would order from the takeaway again.
Prices are canny too, especially with the large portion sizes.

But still good food

H.Called in for fish and chips decided to eat them on site, the attached cafe next to the takeaway was clean but a bit dated needs bringing out of the eighties, we were served very quickly with regular cod and chips and I must say they were excellent, fish white and flaky, chips cooked to perfection, the staff were very pleasant and the bill was good value, I would definitely eat there again

H. C.Brilliant food and service! We ordered through UberEats and two items were not sent. Rang Maguires and explained and the guy was so nice and asked if I wanted a refund (we actually needed the items as they were someone’s tea) and when I said no he was more than happy to drop them off himself and did so swiftly and was so apologetic.
