Got a Just Eat delivery from here, arrived on time still hot and well packaged! I got the mussels seafood starter which which was really nice, loved the lentils and aauce it came with. The main event was the Namaste Delicacy which was chunks of lamb shank meat and lamb chops, the lamb pieces were nice and tender and the chops were a bit tough.. the sauce they came in was delicious and the garlic nan was beautiful 😁👌👍

Went on Friday for the first time and we were certainly not disappointed, the food was the most authentic and tasty Indians we have had in a long time! Mam even said that was the best dansak she has had in over 16 years! Everything from the starter to the main course and even the sides were all spectacular in their own right but once eaten together there was this amazing flavour combination that couldn't be beaten. High praises to the chefs. Also must mention the staff team, everyone was so friendly, polite and professional, even stopping to have chats with you on their rounds, felt like they really cared and worked extremely hard to make our night one to remember! We will definitely be recommending yous to our friends and family and cannot wait to return again in the near future!

Amazing food, there's always a lovely atmosphere and the staff are great. Last time we were there for a double celebration and the staff noticed (clearly just taking note of toasts etc as there was nothing obvious, like a banner or something) and they took the time to congratulate our friends and were very kind to us all. Totally unexpected but massively appreciated. Now to the food, it is delicious! Meats all cooked beautifully, flavours are outstanding, I've never had an everage meal there. Their happy hour deal is excellent too so look out for that. Highly recommend.

W went here for the lad's Christmas meal out and what a good idea it was to choose here. We arrived just after 8 pm but they allowed us to still select from the evening meal deal. The service was prompt and friendly and after taking our drinks order and asking if we wanted poppadoms for the table we were seated. Everyone in our group loved their meal and I would highly recommend here to anyone. I'll be back in the new year with my family that's for sure.

Opted for the Sunday lunch yesterday. Ordered the beef dinner and it was spectacular!!!!! Beef was succulent and plentiful , a good selection of vegetables , 3 Yorkshire's and a very good gravy. It was a wonderful tasty dinner and I would thoroughly recommend it! Definitely value for money !! The service from the waiter was excellent, very attentive and impeccable.

Visited with my husband for a date night. We were not disappointed. The food was one of the best we’ve had. I have awkward dietary requirements (gluten free vegan), and it was easy to eat here without any issues. We’ve also had takeaways which were equally as tasty and accommodating for my dietary requirements.

We booked here last minuite for a quick bite to eat, called at 5pm for a 5.30pm table. Staff were very accommodating and attentive. Greeted on arival and seated instantly, drinks came quick. We ordered chicken madras and vindaloo chicken curry with rice, spicy chips and a naan bread. Food arrived piping hot and was delicious! Could not find fault what so ever. Atpmosphere very welcoming and relaxed, tastefully decorated with chilled out music. Price fantastic for the qualiry of food and sercice you recieve. Lovely, lovely meal! We will be back, no doubt about that.

Good food and the older waiters are great. However, when I left my car was blocked in by another car. I went back and told one of the waiters who replied "well it must be one of the customers, theres nothing I can do"! I said yes so you're going to have to go and ask them to move it please. I went to wait in my car and 10 minutes later still know one. I went back in and he said its know ones here. I knew he hadnt even asked. So I asked to speak to the manager, the waiter went back inside and didn't return. After another 5 minutes I explained the situation to another waiter who was very cocky. He asked what I wanted him to do?! I told him to ask the customers who's car it was so I could leave. This waiter was so rude and cheeky! After 25 minutes a customer who was sitting outside on the terrace finally moved her car after she overheard me talking to the waiter, not because the staff had asked if it was her car. The rude waiter then said "there you go, found. Are you happy?!" I told him he was rude and his reply was "I'm just joking"! The older staff members who served me my food were great. But these two were immature and rude.

Pathia far too hot. Best prawn cocktail I have ever tasted. Just been for evening meal group booking of seven the food was out of this world! Amazing service amazing food and just what Sunniside needs! Myself and my partner go to south shields to Ocean road for a curry quite often and love all the restaurants there but now we have one that is on our doorstep, we will 100% be coming back. They have the added bonus of having entertainment from 20:00 onwards which is a great way to sit back and digest your meal with a few more drinks. The singer who was on tonight was brilliant a one man band who even sang his own take on Happy birthday for a guest. He was amazing! The staff were so friendly and I could tell they liked working there the waiting staff were very friendly and polite which you find anyway from any Indian/Punjab/Bengali restaurant, but your staff seemed to even more friendly and a credit to your business! For their service alone I would come back. Servers- 10/10 Food- 10/10 Bar staff- 10/10 Entertainment- 10/10 A good review just isn't enough for this place, you simply have to go there and see it for yourself, also the decor is beautiful. My only downside would be the colourful disco ball thing in the ceiling it doesn't seem to fit the overall atmosphere of the restaurant/bar area/lounge. Who ever the owner or manager is you should be very proud of this establishment. Well done for reviving this building and making it into something vibrant and beautiful. My god the food though! If you can go here please so so, and I imagine the one they have in South Shields is just as awesome!

Ordered a takeaway from here this week after hearing all of the hype about it and I didn't think it was particularly great. After waiting 1 hour 40 minutes for it to arrive, I was pretty disappointed with the food, especially for the price. The Tandoori king prawns were cold and the Malaysian sauce was sickly sweet with overbearing banana flavour. Nothing like how the Malaysian restaurant's serve it. The Chicken Tikka Masala was OK, but everything tasted like it had loads of sugar in it. I always like to give new places a go, but from now on I'll be sticking with the Jamdani or if I go into town it's got to be Simla.

Came the other day and never received such wonderful service. The mix grill tasted beautiful with the perfect spice and on top of that the service was one to remember! I got the lads name before completely forgot his name, it reminded me of the scooby doo character shagi. His personality was amazing, he always sought to help and make our time more eventful. Always put care in his work and even showed a few of his dance moves. My daughter Aleena says next time she comes, she wants shagi to be there!
