My only gripe is that it seems like since COVID has hit, there's been some obsession with getting everything done through a QR Code.
Joining a virtual queue for a table by scanning a QR Code takes much longer than just taking a name and a mobile number. That and ordering is so much more of a hassle, part of the charm is going and ordering at the front desk (Especially if you've been countless times like myself). This location isn't great for this either due to the previously mentioned limited mobile service and unreliable WiFi connection in that part of The Gate.
Genuinely hope this is a temporary measure as it somewhat kills part of the experience and not everybody is willing/able to do everything through QR Codes.
Nevertheless, delicious as always and cannot fault the food and yes, I got a stash of Nandos goodies before heading back to Sweden!

I went to this Nando's with a group of friends on a wednesday night and we were seated very quickly despite it being quite busy. We asked if this particular branch was halal and it was which is always a plus!
The food we ordered ranged from half chickens, to wraps and sharing platters. Although the line to the till was a bit long we did not mind as we appreciated the fact that nandos is a very popular place, especially with younger people. The food we ordered came in about 15 mins and the order was correct.
There is the option to box up any remaining food and the waiter we had also gave us a tub for the sauce as he seen we had enjoyed it. Overall we had a good time, food was delicious as usual, and the atmosphere was pleasant with a low hubbub of chatter which was nice, creating a calm and casual atmosphere - 8/10 would go again and would recommend if you haven't tried it before.

B. S.Food is always good, with a good range of options and heats!! This particular restaurant in the Gate in Newcastle was nice inside. Only gripe is that 2 friends of ours were only wanting to have a drink while others ate, this didn't go down well with one of the server chaps. Other than that, a nice experience was had!

M.The chicken from this restaurant franchise is truly delicious, always so tender and juicy. The place is very clean and tables and chairs are absolutely comfortable. Price is definitely correct, I would hazard calling it ‘cheap’ accounting for size and quality. Highly recommended, particularly if one wants to enjoy a movie at the cinema upstairs and then have a nice meal.

A. A.First time experiencing Nandos was at this branch. Taste is excellent ans portion is a nice too. Definitely will come back. The only draw back is at night it is surrounded by bars a bit weird for families with small children to get their way in. Still worth it

One person in particular who I was meant to write a review on almost 2 months ago was Ibadullah. Now this guy is amazing! He was so kind and more than happy to help. I came during Ramadan time and this member of staff catered to all my needs and even allowed me to go perform my religious deeds in a separate room which was closed off. He kept coming over and asked if everything was okay and if I needed any more time and even told me to take my time with anything I needed to do. It is actually amazing to see this type of service. All of the staff at this branch are very kind, helpful and attentive so I would deffo say 10/10 because the food is delicious as always but the way the staff present themselves is what makes people like me and everyone else happy!

R. S.I regularly frequent Nandos. I have Coeliac disease so finding allergen free food is often difficult but they always make sure their kitchen is clean and food prep is free of cross contamination for me. Amazing service. Yummy food too.
A. C.Nandos being a chain means that the food is the same where ever you try it. This restaurant although quiet were fairly slow to serve. The hot wings were spot on though the chicken breast was slightly overcooked and so a bit dry. Staff were really friendly. Finally, they have a new hot sauce which is hot a f. Vusa has a good heat and nice vibrant flavour.

A while after sitting in the waiting area (after paying), someone asked again what it was we were waiting for and it turned out it had been sat getting cold for a while. The portion sizes seem to be shrinking (chips/fries) too.

Also featured in this branch are the quality of the heart of Newcastle in The Gate. In addition to the large restaurant space, which often will not find a table to sit on it only after waiting may arrive for more than an hour due to congestion, especially on weekends.
The price is reasonable and the taste of chicken and chicken wings is superb, not all side dishes are good. For example, the coleslaw salad tasted strange and not good.
Visiting the restaurant is a unique experience and the atmosphere of the restaurant is family friendly.

السعر معقول وطعم الدجاج وجوانح الدجاج رائعة، الأطباق الجانبية ليس جميعها جيدة. مثلا سلطة الكول سلو طعمها كان غريب وغير جيد.
زيارة المطعم تجربة فريدة وأجواء المطعم مناسبة للعائلات.

Ceny jsou vyšší, jídlo je výborné. Příbory, ubrousky, dochucovadla a nápoje si musíte přnést od hlavního pultu. Můžete si vybrat a vzít kolik chcete.
