In Newcastle for work and boy did I hit the jackpot finding Nudo on Google maps! Fast service with a smile (I assume, masks!) and impecable food. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Reasonably priced and take a look at their "Welcome" sign, fantastic and true to my experience. Thank you Nudo staff!

Great choice of Asian dishes, from 'small plates' to larger main course dishes and sushi. We find the sushi here better than anywhere else in Newcastle. Ingredients are fresh and sushi is well made. There's a good range of very tasty Futomaki rolls, which are particularly good value for how many you get, whilst the Nigiri are lovely and fresh. Service is fine, and unfussy. It's a good idea to order a few dishes and add more as you go along. Restaurant itself is maybe a little tired but clean.

Ordered beef ramen, came promptly. The stock was one of the best that I've tasted - complex and rich, absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately in comparison the noodles are only "good", not firm enough for my tastes. My friend ordered roast chicken ramen, which also had an excellent broth. Overall I'd definitely recommend this place if you enjoy ramen.

Reasonably priced Asian food in Newcastle! Came to Newcastle for a concert at the O2, this restaurant was a short walk from the venue and had a very big menu with a huge range of choices! Great food here!

A hidden gem in Newcastle, friendly waiters and quick service, ordered the grilled eel temaki, the tobiko gunkan and pan fried pork dumplings, very well presented and were amazing, would definitely recommend coming here at night for the added cozy intimate atmosphere, if you're planning on visiting newcastle then this is the place to go!

Me and my husband visited this restaurant during a weekend break in Newcastle. I can not recommend it enough! The food was incredible and the service also top notch. We went as a group of four and made use of the eat out scheme at the time but the prices are very reasonable even without the offer. Staff were very efficient and it's a great place if you're very hungry as the food comes out super quick as and when it's ready. Very much recommend getting a selection to share as there is a lot to choose from with a good mix of hot and cold options. Good for a mix of appetites as there are curry dishes as well as sushi.

The good was really nice and is very affordable. Staff is competent and friendly. The table for two is very small so it barely holds to main dishes drinks and two small dishes and I did keep bumping into my drink. They could have seated us at a table for four which would have been more convenient and we were the only two people in there. So off you order a couple of dishes all to be seated at a larger table. Or table was also up against the wall so that dude not help. Still enjoyed the meal.

The food was amazing, but the service could use some improvement. We booked a table for 5, but rearranged it over email to 7 yesterday night. Both bookings didn’t went through even tho we had a confirmation email. It was busy, so there were no tables available they told us, so that was a disappointment but can’t be helped. Later we could sit at a table that was already empty, but we didn’t mind. It was hard to get contact with a waiter to order or ask something. Next time I’ll order at home again since the food is really good, but the restaurant wasn’t the best experience

I have recently visited Nudo noodle house and hands down I received an excellent service. I was warm welcomed by the restaurant’s supervisor Leo, he was very friendly, super kind and he showed an honest behaviour in order to please us and have a memorable experience. I told him I am vegetarian and he immediately made me fell very comfortable while he gave me a lot of suggestions about suitable dishes that I could enjoy! He also asked me a couple of questions about my eating habits which make me fell very welcome and I quite appreciated his effort to personalise my experience at the restaurant whilst being a busy night and he had to serve the remaining customers. Eventually I ordered Pan fried noodles with tofu and I am admit that the dish was excellent, a very good vegetarian choice very fulfilling !!. I was very happy with my dish and I will defiantly be visiting the restaurant again.

Pan Asian restaurant with a huge menu of primarily Chinese and Japanese dishes. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. I had the unagi eel for main and ice cream selection for dessert, both of which I'd recommend. We came on a quiet night and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed, but I have seen it a lot busier when walking by. Staff were polite and attentive and I look forward to coming back.

Been a regular at Nudo for over a decade and it has rarely, if ever really failed to deliver. Today was no exception. Singapore flat rice noodles, beef tendon noodle soup, deep fried chicken dumplings and crispy squid were all spot on.

Been here quite a few times now and the food is always delicious and the staff are really lovely. Most recently went here in restaurant weeks and had a mixture of sushi and a rice dish. The rice dish (crispy chicken in a sticky chili sauce, although the name escapes me) was very tasty and fresh. The sushi I ordered, unfortunately, wasn't as nice as usual! I was quite dissapointed as the salmon seemed to have been frozen, but not too upset as it was only £10 for my whole meal! This was definitely not something I had experienced here before either. Overall would definitely recommend for affordable and tasty food.

Low ceilings and ‘mood lighting’ make the dining experience a little oppressive. As with pretty much every Oriental eatery the menu is very expansive, but lacks details in descriptions meaning those without knowledge of the general makeup of the meals won’t know what they’re going to get. Both meat dishes ordered contained at least three times more vegetables than meat, which was annoying as I’ve had similar meals in noodle places in many different places where the ratio was much closer! Prices were keen though. Meal for two with starters and a drink each came to £28, so that was pleasant.

Popped in on a Thursday evening before going to see a show and was very impressed. We chose two small plates each and every thing was delicious. The other thing is - the portions were really generous. Although they were billed as small plates the dishes were really generous and each was £6 or less. I ate shredded deep fried beef in chilli sauce and spring onion pancakes and they were fabulous. My friend had fried dumplings and stir fried prawns. We both had two drinks each and the bill was under £40. The service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back!

I've waited a long time to try some decent noodles and was not disappointed! My husband and I enjoyed the Chicken Dumplings and Spicy Calamari small dishes. Then the Shanghai Pork w/ thick Wok Noodles and Shredded Pork in Jasmine Rice. Probably THE best calamari we've had. The food was so delicious. The staff were friendly and quick to serve. Price was decent, got our Dim Sum to takeaway - cannot wait to come back again!

Busy and comfortable tucked down a back street this is really a treasure. Food arrived extremely fast and every single dish was perfect. Some of the items were a bit overpriced and sure I've had tastier food but only in really expensive places so I highly rate this place. Who can ignore fast service and tasty home cooked style food. Also glad to see they don't shy from the non run of the Mill oriental dishes so they do tripe and beef tendons etc. Well done to the chefs and staff.

One of my favourite restaurants, I have been bringing people to this place for years. I'd highly recommend the crispy chilli beef & fried chicken gyoza! One tiny recommendation is that the staff sometimes come across as disinterested, but of the 40+ times I've been it happens very rarely so wouldn't nearly affect the well due 5/5 rating. Props to the business and I'll most definitely be back!

Our servers weren't willing to engage past the formalities of the job, barely smiled, and to top it off entered their own tip into the card payment machine when it came time to settle the bill which I found rude.

A great selection of good food including noodle and rice dishes, along with sushi. Staff are polite and friendly. There is indoor seating for around 40 people with an extra room for large groups or for when it gets busy. There is on-street parking available nearby but not directly on the street outside. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.

Amazing. I've been twice since my first visit two weeks ago, got myself full and drunk for £20. That's with a main, starter and two types of sushi. They have a couple of original cocktails too which compliment to food very well. Honestly cannot fault it, the staff are brilliant too. Only problem is that now everything else I eat tastes like socks and grit Should also mention that the menus have pictures of all the dishes as they are served so you know what to expect from each portion. Overall really tasty! I actually ordered a Katsu Curry and there was plenty to eat. Very nice~ my only concern was that the chicken has a lot of joints and cartilage so it can be very chewy and strange, but that's just the specific part. Prices aren't too bad, just order tap water if you are cheap.

One of the best asian restaurants I have been to! Was visiting from London and suggested by google. Nudo noodles is easy to find, staff are friendly, food is reasonably priced and they have huge servings. A bowl of their delicious soup is good for two and their rice meals are good for sharing as well. Their dumplings are like little, warm hugs. I suggest ordering a starter in advance because they have a vast selection in their menu.

Spicy beef tendons and udon noodles, i've eaten almost everything on the menu now but this meal is my fave. is so tender perfectly spiced i've eaten it atleast 20 times in a row now and just swap out the side dishes, and the Chinese sweet mantou buns and milk dip, drop the diet and just try them people! anyways now i've stopped drooling, the prices are fair the customer service is high calibre the food is exquisite the decor is nice and inviting! if i could give this place a Michelin it would have it!
