First time Visiting Paros, Easily some of the best green food in Newcastle. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Good value for money with nice filling portion sizes. The main and desert was very tasty. Will definitely visit again and recommend to anyone.

Had fabulous authentic Greek food here in a local restaurant on 4th December. They also do gluten free. The staff were very friendly and the price was very reasonable. Would recommend, but you will probably need to book as its quite small. They do takeaway as well in case you can't get a table. We will be going back for more.

The service at Paros was brilliant. Our waitress was friendly and there was a quick waiting time to be seated. She also had a good dish product knowledge and gave recommendations when we asked. There was a nice atmosphere (not too quiet/too busy) with good music and not too loud. Our waitress was a great multitasker who was managing 6 tables on her own (it unexpectedly became busy with several walk-ins during the lunch time rush) but she managed to not show stress. Our starters was served nice and hot but a little too hot for my husband (but it's better than it being cold) and it was a good portion size for Keftedakia (meatballs). They taste amazing although such a simple dish: like gourmet comfort food, great in winter (or anytime of year). Then the main meal came: mine was the chicken chops and my husband had the chicken souvlaki (kebab). The chips were hot and not greasy and the chicken was moist and the right amount of marinade with good flavour. There was a few bits of bone but the waitress told us in advance. It was cooked on the bone for better flavour. The Tzatziki dip was lovely, the only fault being that there was not enough. The flatbread was delicious too. My belly was so full. I was starting to wonder how I'd fit my dessert in. The Icecream was yum and Baklava too. Traditionally Turkish but still tasted great with the Greek cuisine. A good day out.

Absolutely beautiful !!! I wanted a healthy, wholesome, tasty meal cooked to order from lovely fresh produce (delivered straight to my door) and that's exactly what I received. I had trouble ordering my meal online so called the restaurant for help. Even though the restaurant was busy the gentleman on the telephone was remarkably patient and friendly and found a solution to my dilemma. Outstanding - what a perfect first impression. Since my first home delivery I have eaten in the restaurant three times to date. The quality of the food and the service were both outstanding. Thank you 'Paros - Greek Restaurant'. What a fabulous food experience with first class customer service. Truly remarkable ..... A 'magnificent' 5***** without a doubt. A truly lovely experience. Myself and my family came here for a meal for my grandparents anniversary. The food was one of the most authentic Greek meals I have had outside of Greece. The staff were exceptional and the service was quick. The atmosphere of this place was beautiful. We really recommend anyone to try the homemade jam too, it’s delicious and I’ll definitely be back to buy some when they have more! I really highly recommend this restaurant, 10/10 experience.☺️

A marvellous meal in wonderful surroundings, with the authentic ambiance of Greek hospitality from the staff. We celebrated a Father’s Day meal here and all experienced a flavoursome, filling and extremely satisfying meal. My partner said the lamb shank with Greek veg was a very generous portion and cooked to perfection. My chicken souvlaki and accompaniments were delicious and tasty. First time at Paros last night and…WOW! We haven’t been able to visit Greece through the pandemic and this place just took us back minus the flight. The ambiance and decor is just perfect and we instantly felt like we were back on holiday, cocktails (2 for £10) are fabulous! Star of the show for us though was the food, lamb chops & pork steaks cooked over charcoal and tasted so authentic. We will definitely return very soon & have already recommended to friends. If I had one negative all it would be is that we had a toddler with us and asked for squash with water for him (2) and on receipt of the bill we noticed that these were charged at £3.80 each!! Not sure why a simple drink would be priced so high and maybe Paros could look into this for future but everything else was perfect. Thank you Paros

Table for 4. We ordered main courses which took 45 mins to arrive. Table water, we had to ask twice before it arrived. No complimentary bread or olives, charged £2:50 for a bit of toasted bread. Had to request condiments. £6 for a glass of wine is rather expensive. On a positive note the food was nice. Overall a very expensive evening with poor service. Will not hurry back !

Great food, lovely selection of imported Greek wines or liqueurs, and brilliant service from Aldo and his team! Paros has quickly become a family favourite for a nice meal out or if we want a quality takeout as they do deliveries as well. We first visited a couple of days after they opened, being fans of Greek food we wanted to try the 'new kid on the block'. We weren't disappointed, the food is fantastic, and Aldo and his team create an amiable atmosphere which isn't found in many restaurants nowadays. We have returned a number of times: to celebrate our wedding anniversary, my birthday and just to enjoy a meal out. We have sampled most of the menu and never been disappointed, I particularly like the Chicken Chops and Greek Sausage, whilst my wife absolutely loves the Kleftiko and Lamb Chops. I persuaded my 2 sisters and brothers in law to come with us to the recent 'Greek Night', and we had a fantastic time. Paros has 4 new fans now. I can't recommend them more highly, pay a visit, you will not be disappointed!

We had to wait 30 minutes for our food and the restaurant was a bit cold. We ordered bread with olive oil as a starter that was a bit dry and tasteless. The chicken souvlaki was delicious and the rice and chips were good but the pitta was disappointing. Very dry and crunchy and difficult to tell if it was stale or over cooked.

This is a new, but extremely welcome, addition to Chillingham Road's diversity. We ordered a selection of starters including humous and pitta bread, beetroot salad, a veg skewer and a Greek salad. All the food was very fresh and delicious - and excellent value for the generous sized portions. It would be good to hear more about why the owners wanted to start the restaurant - it's a big risk to take in the middle of the Covid crisis - but the great food we enjoyed and the many other positive reviews suggest it is a risk that will definitely work out for them. We'll certainly make this a regular place and definitely recommend it.

We may not have went to the restaurant, due to alot of disabilities and agoraphobic we can't leave house .. we stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and its the best thing that could have happened .. the staff communication is absolutely amazing it was my granddaughters 16th birthday and her favourite wasn't showing on their website they went above and beyond to help us .. and that's not the only time .. their food is fresh tasty and hot , well presented and in my opinion the best in Newcastle.. its consistent which is a godsend when you have autistic children .. it brings back so many amazing memories of crete / Greece 🇬🇷 💙 The souvlaki and gyros is exceptional 👌 Along with the moussaka and stifado.. their tzatziki and pitta breads are so fresh the taste of their salads especially the paros salad is beautiful 😍 and when we expressed how much we love their Greek jam they gifted us with a jar from their restaurant.. we absolutely love paros food 😋 thank you so very much for everything you do you don't know how much it means to us xx
