K. H.Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. First time here and won’t be the last. We had an amazing meal from starter to main course. Rasika is one of the best Indian restaurants in Newcastle and we have tried many of them! Smart decor, amazing staff but most of all tasty food full of flavour. These guys are so hospitable we really couldn’t fault our time here. We will be back and you truly deserve your 5* rating.
s. d.Very nice ambience and delicious Indian food, probably the best in Newcastle. Ali, the manager is a gentleman and also the other person who serves the food. Best place for authentic Indian food for Asian people searching for food similar to the original taste. Also for new people, who want to have a taste of actual Indian food, this place is perfect. This was my friends and my second visit in the same week. Would love to keep on going.

Started well with the poppadoms and starter menu but unfortunately the main was completely disappointing 😞. Fodder menu to be avoided. Hoping the regular menu is not the same.
R. K.The Restaurant is perfectly located and close to the Brewdog Beer. Good and tasty Indian food at an affordable price and decent quantity. I ordered Veg and Chicken biryani as the main course along with Cheese roti and vegetable korma. For starters ordered Panner tikka. They were tasty and good. The ambience was pleasing and the staff was well behaved, friendly and provided good service. Overall had a good experience at Rasika and would highly recommend those who looking out to have some north Indian delicacies in Newcastle.

I have visited Rasika for over three years now and it is the best curry house in Newcastle.
The food is exceptional. I am always cautious ordering lamb at an Indian restaurant incase it is fatty but the lamb here is always lean and melts in your mouth.
The staff are fantastic - very attentive and great to chat with.

The food was amazing, from the starters to the mains and the sides. I booked for a group of four people, we all thoroughly enjoyed Rasika. I don't usually manage to eat the whole meal, but I managed on this occasion. Staff were courteous and allowed the meal to flow well, no interruptions or pestering for drinks, but always to hand if anything required. Food service was quick, interior modern and relaxed, music faint so did not spoil conversation. Will be returning. Thanks Rasika.

Plenty of tasty food, so much so that we couldn't eat it all so we had the leftover bagged up. That was enjoyed cold for breakfast in our hotel room.

The restaurant itself isn't particularly large, meaning it's more intimate and the staff are able to take care of everything you need.
Overall the staff were helpful, cheerful and very knowledgable when it comes to Indian style food.
The food was a delight, everything you'd expect from a genuine Indian restaurant (none of the shortcuts adopted by most take-aways). In particular I recommend the dansak. 10/10

S.(Translated) This Indian restaurant is located a few meters from Tyne Bridge, with an extensive menu with many options, including vegetarian dishes, and with special menus for two and four people and special menus from Sunday to Thursday, from 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. hours, in which we can choose two courses for 10 pounds or 3 courses for 14 pounds. I went for dinner and decided on a prawn cocktail, lamb tandoori and simple naan. To drink, a bottle of Kingfisher and a pint of Cobra, both Indian beers. The bill, 27 pounds (€ 32). I was very satisfied, both for the abundance of the food and for its quality. The prawn cocktail was very good and the lamb dish was very tasty and abundant, including a salad on a separate plate as well as an exquisite mint sauce. The attention, very correct.

Este restaurante hindú se encuentra situado a escasos metros de Tyne Bridge, contando con una amplia carta con muchas opciones, entre ellas platos vegetarianos, y con menús especiales para dos y cuatro personas y unos menús de oferta de domingo a jueves, de 17.30 a 19.00 horas, en los que podemos elegir dos platos por 10 libras o 3 platos por 14 libras. Acudí para cenar y me decidí por cocktail de gambas, tandoori de cordero y naan simple. Para beber, una botella de Kingfisher y una pinta de Cobra, cervezas hindúes ambas. La cuenta, 27 libras (32 €). Salí muy satisfecho, tanto por la abundancia de la comida como por su calidad. El cocktail de gambas estaba muy bueno y el plato de cordero, muy sabroso y abundante, incluyendo una ensalada en plato aparte así como una exquisita salsa de menta. La atención, muy correcta.
