Lovely venue. Incredible food. 100% you should go here for a pizza. The venue is cosy, with some really incredible artwork on the walls. The kitchen is open but the noise didn't disturb the atmosphere. Service was really good, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the food and drinks came fast. The food itself was brilliant, all the pizzas on the menu sound delicious so it was a challenge choosing one, so I'll definitely have to come back to try some more.

This has become our favourite pizza place in Newcastle, what a find! Lovely crust with a perfect Neapolitan chewiness and flavour and fresh toppings. Both the pepperoni and fennel sausage are fantastic!

Went here for my sons birthday as his favourite food is pizza and a lot of people recommended it. Booked online, this is a must as it gets incredibly busy. We were waited on in decent time by lovely staff and the kids really loved to see the pizza’s getting made in front of us. The prices were reasonable for being close to the city centre and the quality of the food was outstanding, really good pizzas. We had a side of carbonara gyozas which were also nice but the sauce they came with was a bit overpowering. Parking was a bit of a nightmare so if you could get dropped off it would be ideal. Definitely a place I’d recommend and definitely a place I’d visit again.

The best pizza I have had in Newcastle for sure. Such a nice variety of falvours and options, plus vegan options as well! The food is so good that I always forget to take pictures but I guarantee everything looks amazing. (Also really nice frozen margaritas!) Staff is always super sweet and considerate, I’ve had almost everything on the menu at this point but I still keep going back!

Easily the best pizza I've tasted in the UK. Staff were lovely, enjoyed the atmosphere and everything we tried was out of this world! We were already booking our next table before we'd even left the place. The only downside is they weren't serving cocktails but this definitely didn't ruin the visit and I'm sure we'll be able to try a few next time!

I happen to be in Newcastle for a couple of days and discovered this place by chance - I am staying just down the road. The staff are great - helpful, patient, and polite. The pizza is delicious - the 48-hour proofing time makes the crust delicious and the two vegan pizzas I got were both so yummy, full of flavour. The crust was cooked perfectly. If I lived in this neighbourhood I think that I would be in a lot of trouble.

Wow. Amazing place! A real hidden gem - tucked away in Sandyford. Such a welcoming vibe - you can watch the pizzas being made. The pizza base, light and fluffy topped with the special tomato sauce. Mmm. Absolutely delicious and made with fresh ingredients too, complemented by very friendly staff. Well worth a visit to support a local business!

A wonderful spot not too far from the centre of Newcastle. Lovely aesthetic whether you sit inside or out. Outstanding food and service. Could not fault the attentiveness of the staff! Food and drinks arrived very quickly and was everything we had hoped for. The Carbonara Gyoza were a fusion revelation and the (to our palate, at least) homemade sriracha sauce with the fries was excellent. Each of our pizzas was cooked to perfection and balanced their respective flavours to a tee. Preparation of both vegan and non-vegan options to this standard is hard to find, so I would highly recommend a visit. We will definitely be coming back!

Such a cool place, great vibe, great decor, with neon signs and a view of the massive pizza oven in action. The pizzas are seriously tasty, and the side of truffle and parmesan fries was indulgent and delicious. If you want to try one of their starters the mac 'n' cheese gyozas were unreal. A great restaurant that also does takeaway and has a mobile pizza van that can be hired for events. Get yourself down to Sandford and have a gander.

To be honest, all pizza is good. But here it really is brilliant, proper Neapolitan pizza. Came for the lunch time special, which was great value with a soft drink included from a smaller choice of pizzas from the main menu. Don't remember the names of the soft drinks that were included, I'd never heard of them before but they were delicious! There's also a specials board and we saw what sounded like too good a dish to ignore for a starter to share - meatballs, tomato sauce, mozzarella and toasted sourdough... So we ordered that too. It actually came after the pizzas but we didn't mind that, the service here is super friendly and relaxed and this just adds to it. You don't have to have things in a particular order. And the sauce from the meatballs was ideal for dipping crusts in. The pizzas were spot on, puffed up crusts superb. Right balance of soft and chewy. The kind you'll keep on eating even when you're full. Parking nearby is a bit of a pain with not too many places to park up if you're driving. But it won't put us off from coming back again.

Disappointed. We used to visit "Goldie" in Ayton a few years back and the pizzas were fantastic. My wife and myself decided to take a weekend away in Newcastle so booked in here for an evening meal. Arrived on time, given the smallest corner table possible in a already over crowded venue, rushed to take our order within a minute of being seated. Ordered two pizzas which arrived quickly but just didn't match the expectation. Poorly cut/sliced and base tasted/felt soggy and raw....a far cry from the days of delicious wood fired pizza...rather disappointed in the whole experience. Sorry guys.

Some friends and I had a reservation here two weeks ago and we were amazed by the great food and even better service! We initially had a booking for 5:30pm on a Saturday night but had car issues and called to cancel as we didn't think they'd have any other spaces on a busy Saturday and they managed to change our booking to 8:30pm. Then once we got to the restaurant, the server named Ellen made us feel right at home as we ordered 4 of their frozen cocktails (they were I believe Rum and Cherry Cola flavour- amazing!) and our food and she even brought us over a free appetizer as one was miss-made in the kitchen which was a portion of the chicken bites- which was incredible! We each had a different pizza that we all fought over which was the best and a bottle of red and Ellen even came over to say goodbye to us as her shift was ending- which we all thought was such sweet gesture! All in all, we had a great evening and we've all been raving about Scream for Pizza to all of our friends since! We'll definitely be back!

Honestly the best pizza I've ever had. Had countless pizzas from here over the last twelve months and only one was not at an exceptional standard, yet still better than most. The consistency is really something. The Brooklyn Bee and Shuffle Truffle pizzas are exceptional, their scream fries are sublime and the roasted garlic dip is stunning. These two ladies and their incredible staff deserve all the credit and respect, delivering an unbelievable standard under very difficult circumstances. I tell everyone about this place and with good reason. Thank you for the work, passion and care you have put into everything. You deserve every success.

We hired Scream for Pizza to cater for the evening of our wedding, as our all time favourite pizza pushers we wouldn't have settled for anyone else for our big day. Despite multiple date changes for our wedding and constant changes to our party size we were always at ease knowing they had it all under control. The food on the night was perfect, they went above and beyond to make sure no one on site including the staff went pizza-less! Best Pizza in the North of England. Full stop, period, the end. Their service is rapid, they helped during lockdown for sure. I finished chemotherapy and when my sense of taste came back it was the first thing I wanted. After hearing nothing but good opinions about Scream for Pizza I decided I would give them a try myself. On two occasions I was left downhearted as all collection slots had been booked for the whole weekend, which I guess added to the fact they are highly regarded! Yesterday I managed to order two Shuffle Truffle and two Meaty Crab pizzas. The dough, the ingredients and the taste of both pizzas was amazing. It lived up to the hype that everyone has around these pizzas. The only thing that let us down was the amount of oil they used for the pizzas, in particular for both of the Meaty Crab ones. You could see the oil floating on top of the pizza. As soon as you picked up a slice, there was such an excessive amount that oil would drip everywhere. It seemed as if the finishing touch had been to add a copious amount of oil to the pizza once it was in the box ready for collection. I'm not sure if this was intentional or if it simply was a one-off mistake. Either way, I will not order again for collection. I might give them a second chance once the restaurant opens again for dine-in (to ensure I can verbally ask for a non oil-bathed pizza).

Really excellent pizza. The only room for improvement I'd say was with the parmesan fries - it was if they were trying to preserve the fries! However this doesn't take away from the fact that the pizzas were excellent - the best I've had in Newcastle in a while.

A little disappointed. Had really high hopes for this place but pizza was average. Small and overpriced. Ok I didnt have the Margarita. I thought the base I had was uneven with crust too wide and therefore less pizza. Not good value. Crust was also burnt on both occasions. No major criticism. Hard to go wrong with pizza. Just not outstanding hence the 3 star review. Personally I think that Dat Bar and Pizza Punks do best pizza in Newcastle. I worked as a pizza chef for several years and learnt from Italians so I do feel qualified to give my opinion.

I can't fault the food here - it's delicious. My only issue is with the seating. We visited on a wet evening and were sat in the middle aisle of tables. These have stools and basically there is nowhere to hang your coat and no offer to have it taken. We had to sit on wet coats. I also found the stool idea ridiculous and seriously uncomfortable for eating. It would put me off revisiting.
