Wish I'd found this place ages ago. The staff/owners are lovely people, really canny and chatty. I opted for a breakfast burrito, something I've not had before - and it was spot on. I'll definitely be back. Looks well run and clean inside and has a large menu of food which they make up fresh. 👌🏻👍🏻

Pop in here quite often for my chicken club wrap, it's lovely and very reasonable priced. The breakfast grub is really nice as well, especially their Full English. Owners are spot on as well, highly recommended.

The type of small business that makes you proud to be northern. Tremendous food for spectacularly reasonable prices, from two of the friendliest hosts in the city - these guys really go the extra mile to make sure your happy. Ordered a breakfast sandwich for myself (bacon, sausage, B.P. and fried egg), the thing was bigger than my head and all the ingredients seemed top quality, especially the bacon which was cooked perfectly with zero flabby unrendered fat, my dad had a ‘big breakfast’ (again ‘big’ being the optimal word), we both had a drink too and the bill was LESS THAN 12 QUID. As someone who’s lived here for 5 years and is very picky with where he eats, I can say with confidence that there is nothing better for the same money in the area. Just top marks all around.

I dont know how I've only just discovered this place but I'm glad I did. Lady behind the counter was a absolute gem, happy as Larry and boy can she make a sandwich 👌🏽 as for the sandwich goes it was top drawer, I got the chicken romana and it was delightful will 100000% be back.

Owned and ran by a lovely couple. The food was great! Only let down was that they didn’t have a proper coffee machine & only instant coffee. If they did then it would of been perfect 👌

Michelle is lovely she always has a smile and my daughter Sumer who has been going in for 4 years loves to see her when she calls in for bacon sandwiches. Lovely food and tasty jacket potatoes. 🙂🙂

Lovely staff, always welcoming and have a little chit chat while the foods cooking! Amazing range of food and ingredients. Not just your box standard basic sandwiches but noodle boxes, variety of different salads, paninis, burritos, jacket potato and choice of fillings, few choices of little biscuit cake things. You have many options of drinks and flavours can't beat Sketches.

Sketches is an institution. Amazing food with very generous portions and great value. The staff are excellent, always friendly and will go the extra mile. I can't recommend this place enough, if you're in the area and need some lunch Sketches should be your first choice

Only decent sarnie shop in Heaton. Keep going back even after 15 years. Love the choice and some of the sarnies can be huge as well if you need a good filling! Noodle boxes are canny as well.
