Lovely food, great service, and reasonably priced. The menu offers a great selection of popular Asian dishes and some sharing plates. We opted for Salt & Chilli Squid, Korean Fried Chicken, Asian Salad, Beef Rendang and a Chicken Stir-fry.

Our 1st experience dining at Sohe. The ambience was amazing, the music was upbeat and lively. We were sat down immediately as we had a reservation. The staff were very warm, efficient and accomodating as we had 2 kids as well. The menus are not extensive which is a good thing if you are unsure of what to get. I have to commend the servers knowledge of the dishes. We ordered some cocktails and juices for the kids. For starters, we ordered the sharing platter as well as the prawn crackers for the kids. If you love a bit of spice, then the sauce that comes along with the crackers is a definite win. The chicken satay, squid and spring rolls were delicious and cooked really well although we were a little disappointed with the kale as we felt it was too oily and lacked taste. For the main course, we ordered the roasted monkfish and prawn curry along with the Chicken Katsu curry. The quantities were really good, although I expected two or more pieces of the monkfish. However there were lots of prawns but just 1 piece of the fish which I felt should have been the star of the dish for the amount you pay for it. The desserts were outstanding and cannot be faulted. And although we ordered just the 3 scoops of sorbet, the presentation made it worthwhile. The flavors were delicious. It was my daughters birthday and the servers made is extra special for her by singing Happy Birthday to her. Overall, it was quite a good experience, the food was delicious, value for money, the staff were amazing and we will definitely be back to try out a few more dishes.

Loved the food choices - really could have had at 3 or 4 mains. I had the monkfish and King prawns curry 👌 absolute perfection. The decor was lovely and service impeccable. Highly recommended ******* (my dish is on the left)

One of the fanciest places I have been in Newcastle. Definitely worth a visit, you do need to book in advance on weekends to guarantee a table. I absolutely loved everything I ordered especially the curry 🍛 the service and staff were absolutely fantastic too! A must visit ⭐️

Four of us visited whilst working away. The restaurant is really nice inside and we were seated quickly though it wasn't busy. Immediately offered table water while we perused the menu. Starters and mains came out in decent time and the food was fantastic. Asahi was a little pricey on draught. Seven pints came to about £38 which was practically half the food cost. Furthermore, £7.50 for a Ameretto Sour which was mostly ice, was quite disappointing. With that said, it's just scraped a 4* purely based on service, venue and food quality.

After coming from London to spend the weekend in Newcastle, my friends recommended this restaurant as one of the best and they booked a table for us to enjoy a lovely Saturday night dinner and cocktails. We arrived slightly late to our booking but the front of house staff were very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. The lady showed us to our table and we were placed on the best table in the house (right next to the beautiful forest style wall feature, excellent for photos!). We ordered cocktails, starters and mains. The service we received was quick, efficient, helpful and friendly. Everything arrived in really good timing so we were not waiting a long time for our orders to arrive and the staff were clearing the table promptly after as well. The food was absolutely exquisite, I had the chilli squid for starters and the Salmon Teriyaki for mains with a side of greens. The Salmon was possibly one of the best salmon dishes I’ve ever ordered and I would highly recommend it. The cocktails were mixed to perfection and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish & drink that we received. The bill arrived, I couldn’t believe how cheap it was in comparison to similar restaurants/settings in London! Absolute value for money and would highly highly recommend this restaurant. It will certainly be my new go-to restaurant when I am in Newcastle.

This restaurant on the trendy Osborne Road packs a punch with its vibe, gorgeous food and prompt service. It has indoor/outdoor seating and decorated tastefully to create a relaxed but upscale ambience. The cuisine can be best described as Asian fusion and we have had consistently good food here, which makes you want to come back for more! If they expand their vegetarian menu, it will be a great addition to a near perfect restaurant.

Absolutely amazing service. I have a severe allergy and they were extremely accommodating, making me my own food despite it being a set menu. The bottomless brunch is a bargain they keep you topped up with drinks and the food is delicious. Everyone was welcoming and very helpful. Will be coming again soon.

Service & staff were exceptional but food was very average. Instead of SoHe I’d say it was SoSo. Ambience was nice, decor nice & relaxing. Little bit cold sitting in the window seats for my daughter, I found it ok, spacious & uncluttered. Not crowded like some places. I’d go again & maybe try a different dish. Although my husband said it was the worst dessert he’d ever had. Chocolate tart was rock hard & inedible ( his words) my dessert was ok. Staff redeemed the night, our female server was professional, while still remaining friendly. She is a credit to the restaurant, I wish I’d asked her name so I could mention her.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Newcastle because of the head chef, Pla, who is a friend. A little pricey but that's probably because it's in Jesmond. You know how some restaurants soak everything in coconut milk and call it Thai food? Well, this isn't one of them. You can actually taste the difference in each dish, even the curries.
