Enjoyed the food. Prices are high but the quality of the food is amazing so I think the prices are reasonable for what you get. Not just your usual Chinese restaurant options (including lots of seafood options) which is nice. Service was good but I dont like the 10% service charge being added to the bill. I want to have the option to tip as and when I want and dont like restuarants who automatically add a service charge. I think lots of people probably just pay it as they feel awkward asking for it to be removed but this would make me think twice about coming here again which is a shame as the food is really good

First time in a Chinese restaurant in a few years ... and The New Rendezvous made it worth the wait. The set meal banquet we had (between four people) was excellent, the wine selection was good and the friendly, attentive staff made this a great evening out with friends. My friend and I shared a delicious meal last night at this restaurant. We had the Rendezvous Banquet for two and the food was superb. The service was excellent too and I was relieved to find the tables at a good distance and a request to wear a mask when entering the restaurant. A very enjoyable experience.

We went tonight for first time with our family to celebrate our sons 24th birthday. The service from Anna and Michael was excellent. The food is amazing best yet. The restaurant is beautiful inside very clean very cosy atmosphere. I would highly recommend going here and we will be going back there again soon. Thank you. Carl Dunn.

Called on a Friday night to make an order for collection and told it would be ready for us in 15 minutes... pretty good start. My fiancée went to collect and was met with fantastic, curious customer service from their team. The food was well packaged and still warm when we plated it up at home. The food we ate was HANDS DOWN the best Chinese we've ever had from anywhere... and a completely reasonable price. Will absolutely order from here every time we want a Chinese takeaway.

Well I think we caught them on a bad night. I don't know whether a chef left them in the lurch or they were just too busy due to mothers day being tomorrow, but while the service was pleasant and apologetic and I do feel for them, the service was very slow. All Chinese restaurants are held to my yardstick of Artisam in Corbridge and the food was just as amazing, but there was less and the prawn crackers at artisam in my book are the best in the world and I've eaten a lot of them I can tell you. Anyway food amazing without being generous and on this occasion service was very slow and I left feeling like I hadn't really eaten.

Have been going to this Chinese restaurant for many many years with my family on birthdays and special occasions. Every time we get soo excited for days before going because of the exceptional food on the set menus, including duck and pancakes, salted prawn starters, sizzling beef and more! This familiy run restaurant is one of the best in the North East and customer service is excellent.
