M.Came here on a Friday evening. The place was buzzing with people and it was extremely lively. There is a tremendous amount of food on offer and a huge variety of dishes at multiple different stands. There's a slightly more lively area downstairs, but if you just want to chill out the upstairs they have nice benches with heaters for when it's cooler

Went here for quiet cocktails on Friday night and got drinks from YOLO upstairs. Staff were so friendly and polite! Look how perfectly made my cocktails were, even my partner got one. S. E.Newest coolest concept in town. Yes it’s £5 a pint but you’re not there to get tanked up. The only problem i have is the ‘enchanted garden ‘ is more plastic than Michael Jacksons face (rip). It will be better when they allow drinking upstairs as at the minute you have to buy food to be able to get a drink so most people are congregating downstairs. Still, as good as it is, I can’t believe they knocked the old Odeon down and left the monstrosity hanging over the road next door. Still, worth a visit.

M.If your in Newcastle city center find this place, who ever thought about putting a load of container around massive tables with heater and food areas with live bands singing away should be knighted. My son and I went to have a look and it was fantastic, better than fantastic. Cardiff needs one of these, the bands playing were great, there is a cover so you don't get wet and you can smoke. Loads of security looking after you....... Big big must.
N.Great atmosphere, amazing food with wide variety. The Texas smoker was great, Shame there's no wet wipes for the sticky fingers after.
N. A.We only stayed for one drink as we had dinner plans, but it's a great spot with loads of food and drink choices. We arrived just after a downpour, but I could see myself hanging out there enjoying the live music on a beautiful day. Once that happens, I'll update my review.

M.Awesome place, live music, lots of different food and drink outlets - which works really well, I might want a burger and someone else might want noodles, no problem, you get a device (it vibrates) that tells you when your food is ready to pick up. Really nice and friendly staff. Overall we had a great time, highly recommend.

B. M.Stack is THE best late afternoon and early evening party in Newcastle on a Saturday. Yes the drinks are a bit more expensive than Wetherspoon's but it's worth it for the entertainment they lay on and a party atmosphere without it being 2am. Security is excellent but not excessive.
S. R.If you are a crazy dog person then this is the retail shop for you, located at Stack. Unusual, quirky treats and also gifts for the crazy dog person too.
i. K.Live music, various food and drinks. All good. Prices are reasonable. Tryvthe ice bar. It is something unique. Parking will be a problem in town. Better take a taxi. It is so cosy and make you feel comfortable. Try the nutella pizza as well. It is on the left when you enter.

A. G.I was here for the first time tonight with a group of about 15. The rugby was on so it was obviously very busy, still the service at the bar was pretty quick! The weather was not ideal (thanks storm Ciara) but there's plenty of heat lamps to keep warm. The staff were also very quick to replace our gas when it ran out. Seating areas were plentiful, toilet facilities were surprisingly clean and although I didn't eat myself the various little eateries smelled very nice! As for price.. It's mid - high range depending on what you're drinking. Expect to pay about £4.50 for a bottle of beer and a fiver for a single mixer. There were plenty of security to weed out the idiots and a great atmosphere all around. I would definitely go again.

They have many bars with a variety of drinks, different vendors selling all sorts of food and little stands and shops outside selling all sorts. With big sporting events shown on a big screen and live music playing most nights it's a great place to stop off for a look.

S. L.Love the atmosphere and music. Food is great but the security are ridiculous. My friends were kicked out for walking up stairs too quick and then they tried to kick us all out. Completely ruined our night but apart from that its a great place to relax with friends.
R. W.It's a great atmosphere with decent entertainment. If it's a sunny day, no better place to be. I really enjoyed it there. Food was ok, but I've been in similar places that did better. Obviously it would be unfair to mark it down considerably for this as I only personally sampled one type, with such a variety on offer. Would be a strong 5 stars otherwise.
P. H.Literally stumbled into this paradise of bars and food outlets, absolutely brilliant. There was a live band and the atmosphere was electric.
The place was buzzing even though it was absolutely peeing down.
Fortunately all the benches were under cover with a gigantic tarpaulin and so was the stage set, so the band played on regardless.
There were toilets on site, overseen by security staff so nice and safe.
Get yourself down on a Saturday afternoon for a real treat of live free entertainment, totally recommend this little city of corrugated stacks in the heart of the toon
S. D.Loved walking around here. We went to lost and found social for dumplings and they tasted amazing. Great to have a place for independent businesses who I feel good supporting, instead of the same old chain shops that linger in every town. The toilets here are also really clean and the whole place looks lush and has a brilliant ambience.

V. C.Really helpful staff and friendly bouncers. Called in for drinks with the girls after our afternoon out. First time in and didn't really understand how it worked but after chatting with the girls behind the bar we got the hang of it. You need to order food and get your vouchers to be able to sit upstairs otherwise you need to sit downstairs. This isn't a problem as there's lots of seats and plenty of heaters. The heaters chuck out a lot of heat and everyone is friendly as they all share benches and standing space. A warm and welcoming venue perfect for day to night drinking. Will definitely be back

L. H.Since this place opened I've loved visiting here. Good selection of beers and the open-feel to the place makes it really fit in with the city centre environment. Good to sit down at times, but the popularity means standing os required at peak times, though that's not a complaint as you can move spots freely. Like how they do a different themed bar every season as well, from the garden to the Hadrian's Tee Pee, then onto the current Ice Bar. Well worth a visit whether you're local or visiting.

Loads of choices of bars and little food huts. We didnt eat there but wish we had kf done. Every bodies food looked delicious. Drinks and food all seemed fairly reasonably priced

Had a wrap at the bake and only a fiver but was superb. I have had heard the beer is pricey but isn't it everywhere??. I think its a good addition to the toon!

K. T.Not quite sure this place knows what it wants to be...feels quite cramped in the central communal area, with outlets surrounding on all sides. Reasonable range of eateries which I'm sure will grow over time. May just need a while to bed in; the hawker market on Gateshead quayside currently has a more relaxed atmosphere and feels more welcome on the whole.

P. S.Best burgers in town ! Patties are awesome, buns are great and the burgers range from simple classics to complicated creations that never disappoint. Chips are fried in beef fat and are worth indulging ! If you are craving a burger during Grainger market opening hours , it's definitely recommended !

V. A.This place is great bars and food court all under one roof . We went to gills fish and chips , the food is gorgeous had to wait 10 minutes but worth the wait lovely fresh cod a proper chip shop chips the curry sauce is delicious 😋 . Definitely worth a visit highly recommend.
C.Take away the perfectly manicured, cloned "men" in tight jeans and long t-shirts, the fake tans and small dogs. Its actually a decent place to go for live music and a pint.

a. f.If blade runner and Kevin costner's waterworld had a baby then you could dress it in a tux at the stack. A place that looks like the first 10 minutes of ready player one. And somehow sells clothes made from recycled plastic. The best thing about this venue is the enchanted garden where visitors can meet all manner of mystical creatures such as pigeons and orcs sprinkled with a few drunks. Live life like the teenage mutant ninja turtles by ordering some freshly made pizza and then blankly looking into the mid distance and contemplating your life choices. Visit the nail bar ( if you have a screw loose ) and partake in some Yoga. Learn to fear death once again with the coffee shop entitled YOLO. And finally appreciate LIVE music on the weekends , Blasting out of someone's car as they sit at a red light for four minutes arguing with their partner. Or if you want a real treat come back during the week to see some family-focused entertainment with the last show entitled '' Johnny you are getting shoes for your birthday whether you like it or not''
