P. S.We were given a warm welcome on arrival. The restaurant is simply decorated, with good atmosphere and upbeat music. The staff are friendly and attentive. It's great to have an easy to navigate menu because as a vegan, I could choose anything from pasta, pizza, doners and burgers. It's not the healthiest menu, but probably a good place for meat eaters to try vegan substitutes and it's great for a treat. We tried some of their cocktails. The portion sizes are generous - check out the photos.
M. H.We’ve had a lot of well nice vegan food over the years, but this is place was the best! You know when you take a bite and a burst of joy hits you, even closed our eyes a few times with happiness.
Really friendly, genuine service as well. Already can’t wait to come back to Newcastle for round 2 - highly recommend.

b.I love coming here, it's now one of my favourite places to eat. The servers are always incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food is always incredibly tasty (I specifically recommend their pizzas and burgers!) The atmosphere is also always very relaxed which is something that I value when choosing somewhere to go. Would highly recommend to anyone, whether vegan or not :)
P. M.AMAZING vegan comfort food with Italian options which are usually so rare in vegan places. Creamy pasta, mac and cheese, proper burgers that aren't overwhelmingly massive. Lovely staff. Not much ambience and right by a busy road is the only negative.
T. C.Wow! What a great little restaurant fantastic food that would be good enough to turn the world vegan! Friendly welcoming staff and a lovely atmosphere. My only improvement that I can suggest is that the toilet could do with a revamp. Will be back next time we are in toon!
I. M.Quite possibly the tastiest and most indulgent vegan eatery I've ever been to. The kebab was sensational, fresh, crispy leafs, delicate "meat". I'm salivating just as I recall it's awesomeness.
S. H.Absolutely fantastic restaurant. My partner and I had the baked camembert, mac and cheese, deep fried ravioli, pizza, milkshake, cheesecake and tiramisu, and all of them were delicious.
The camembert and the 'ham' on the pizza were particularly good.
Great to see that the true meaning of veganism was embedded at the venue, with a wonderful art piece of traditionally harmed animals on the wall.
If ever in Newcastle in the future, I will definitely be returning.

D.Went to Vegano on Saturday the food is nice but not amazing .l ordered the kebab which was nice but the chikn was on the top with sauces so as you ate down the kebab it was just salad which is a bit naughty. The pots of sauces are 50p each whitch l think is a bit cheeky considering the kebab is £15 !! Ordered a milk shake which is £4.50 and they are not that big . The staff are really lovely and chatty but always ask do you want to upgrade the fries which as you read the menu you can see the option to do that. I just felt you are guided by the staff to add things to your order which they do to all customers which we heard them do . I have been vegan for 25 years so before it came popular and a buzz word to be vegan l have tried just about everything vegan . Vegano is a lovely place with lovely staff but l think it is massively overpriced for what you get .As you can see from my review l still gave 4 stars . So l'm not trying to put Vegano down but l wouldn't go again it's not for me .

H. H.Best vegan food I’ve ever had! At here for breakfast and dinner and everything we had was stellar. My husband is an omnivore and he loved it too. Highly recommend. The Doner Kebab and pancakes were particularly good.

A. R.We called with not much notice and they were able to squeeze us in. We turned up to wonderful smiling servers, our server was so helpful and kind. The food was incredible, and came out quickly despite getting so busy shortly after we arrived. The fact it got so busy so quick is testament to how amazing this place is. Definitely come check them out, for sure make make reservations, we saw a few parties have to be turned away at the door due to no more space!

We (one vegetarian, one vegan and one omnivore) had the doner with cheesy garlic fries, mixed kebab with garlic fries, cheesy garlic bread, carbonara, vanilla milkshake and lychee martini and all were delicious and completely perfect! We will be returning as soon as we can!

Make me feel like family everytime I visit. Without a doubt my favourite place to eat at any opportunity. Always make an effort to find out about how we're all doing and what's been on our agenda.
I've made my way through the menu and still unable to pick a favourite. However the Carbonara is slowly taking over with the garlic flatbread combined.
Couldn't recommended this restaurant enough. Never been dissapointed from these guys and having the option to see them at the Newcastle Quayside on a Sunday for some grub is the icing on the cake.
This place should always be your top place to eat in Newcastle. Nothing compares.
A. T.I practically live here! Vegan comfort food at its best. My favourites are the carbonara, the mac and cheese, the pickled garlicky veg on toast and the kebabs are (according to carnivore friends) better than they've ever had.
The desserts and cocktails are banging 👌

m.Delicious street style food with a warm welcome. We had the chilli dog with garlic fries and the dirty diner with fries and a side of Mac n cheese. The whole meal was amazing. The only thing that let them down is I didn't get my 10% off as it was a collection, but can't knock a star off as the food was so good
