This is a wonderfully designed place, really open and inviting. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We had a couple of burgers which were very tasty. Unfortunately I didn't like the vanilla milkshake very much but the ice coffee and sherbert lemonade were great. Will definitely visit again to try out the tapas menu.

Came here for dinner with my partner and we had an amazing experience. Super friendly service and incredible food (we both got the 3 for £11.50 tapas and some churros). Food was brought out swiftly and payment through QR code was super handy

I had the katsu burger and an iced coffee. The food was brilliant as well as the decor and fact you can take dogs in. The only downfalls are there is no parking and that servers do take a while to come around and to take orders or check you have everything so if you need sauces once you have your food you have to find it yourself. Overall though I very much am glad to have the longes on the island and will be back. Love that you get all day brunch and main meals and the tapas deals are great!

We took Dad here for his birthday. Great food & atmosphere. Service was good, one item was missing from what we ordered but they fixed it for us. Would like to go here again and work my way through the menu.

Very easy access ground floor. External seating at back. Menu good for vegetarians alcohol free cocktails as well as choice of alcohol drinks. Good decor, friendly staff and good food. Good for disability access.

Food is a little expensive for what it is (maybe portion size could be better), and dessert was a bit lackluster. However a very nice venue, friendly staff and a great vibe for a place in Newport. I suspect it will get better and will certainly be coming back in the future.

Came for my daughters 21st Birthday, so ten of us for dinner. The place is all nice and new , fab décor and atmosphere. Staff are new and still learning drinks and food menu, but the service and welcome was lovely. Our food was well presented and tasted fabulous. A little confusion on our drinks order but nothing that I would moan about. All in all it's a really well priced place to eat and drink . Correo Lounge is definitely a big bonus for Newport. They have a lovely outside area at the rear of the building. We shall definitely be returning.

Lovely venue. Cosy and relaxed atmosphere inside. Mediterranean feels outside in the garden. App service is average wait time when busy but easy to use. Cocktails are nice but pricey, need some sort of deal like other venues. Will definitely be back though. Facilities are clean and looked after .

Food was tasty, drinks not so much. Tasted like cheap cola. Atmosphere was nice, warm and welcoming. Liked that I could order from my table using the app. Staff were lovely. Improvement feedback:. couldn't place a 2nd order for a side we forgot as it said I have already recently ordered (had to go up to the till). Do not like being asked if and how much I want to tip prior to receiving any service. Automatically selected no as I prefer to tip at the end depending on the service provided.

We had our first 2022 Xmas meal out at Correo Lounge last night and absolutely loved it. The venue is cool and very beautiful decorated. Food perfect and staff brilliant. Great place to go for Xmas parties or just a meal out. It has plenty of room, the Xmas menu is good and very reasonable offering 2 or 3 courses. I had the roast belly of pork which I couldn't fault. Give this place a try, you'll not be disappointed 😉

Great lounge eggs, one with salmon and the other with mushrooms. Shame about the coffees. My cappuccino was extremely weak and the iced coffee was iced milk! Nice friendly service.

Lovely place for a birthday meal. Even though it’s not table service, as we were a big party they kindly offered to take our food order at the table. Food arrived in good time and the tapas was lovely! Would recommend visiting for Tapas Tuesday! Dropped a star as lots of the menu was unavailable, but probably due to Christmas/New Year week. Pretty good for a chain restaurant, nice to have these places on the Island!

Food and drinks delivered quickly, ordered using online service. Good choices on menu and reasonable prices. Like the industrial feel of the decor. Noise level a bit high when busy as open ceiling from old post office sorting office days.

Quite a spacious one and the ambience is just great. There are several tables. There are all kinds of tables like sofa chairs with small tables, mix of normal chairs and sofa chairs with tables along with conventional dining tables and chairs at this place. They also have a beautiful outdoor seating. We went around the Christmas and loved the decor, lighting in here. We can just select any table we like and order from the QR code which is very convenient. The food tastes great. There are some Christmas specials as well during Christmas. The only inconvenience is the lack of heating in toilets. But all in all this is a recommended place to have a good time and eat good food.

I've been here multiple times and the food is delicious. The cocktails are really well made and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The reason for the 3 stars is because time and time again the music is just way too loud. We always find ourselves almost shouting at each other. Pleaseeeeeee turn the music down!!

"Correo Lounge " in Newport ( Isle of Wight ) is a wonderful clash of decorative styles. Reminiscent of the 60's and 70's in its choice of patterned wallpaper , framed vibrant portraits sit alongside a vignette of clustered landscape prints . Globe lamps casting soft glow in one part of the building, give way to bold industrial lighting in the other. The mismatch of furniture is pulled together with a palette of sea turquoise , rusty orange and coral pink . That would be enough to pull me in ....but what made me stay was the wide ranging , flavoursome food ! ...Catering for the taste buds is definitely their speciality and creating a eclectic environment in which to eat it seals the deal . Find a "Lounge" in your part of the country if you can - well worth going ! 💛💛💛

Interesting to me as I worked there when it was a Post office and Mail sorting office. Now much more relaxed. Good selection of food available. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. Not low prices but good value given the quality on offer.

Overall would recommend, was not busy so limited on atmosphere but presentation and layout I was really impressed with, .ost meals on menu had their own twist to them, staff polite. Some tables were messy on arrival but soon as staff had run food, they were cleared and cleaned. Will definitely visit again

First time here and first time in Newport, us and our 6 year old. Very open and welcoming, a great mix of customers and everyone enjoying. Staff were great, quick, happy and engaging. Not a bad word to say, if we were here longer, we’d be happy to go back. Recommend for an easy going visit with food and service that is well worth what you pay.

Love the decor. Love the menu. Modern Mediterranean/fusion. Food let's it down - both items I ordered were poorly cooked. Mushroom tagliatelle really tasty but the pasta was stuck together and therefore uncooked, and a small portion, which makes it poor value for money. Based on the price/value/quality I don't think I will eat there again.

Had a lovely meal staff were brilliant despite being run off their feet! The only thing that spoiled it for us was the smokers were stood in the open doors to the lovely courtyard, the smoke was drifting into the restaurant. We were sat in the middle of the room and it was quite strong.
