Staff are superb, chips are amazing, good range of sides - rissoles pies,sausages,etc, fish is freshly cooked every time, kebabs are also very fresh and filling. Little wonder its an award winning chippy!

Family run fish & chip shop serving hot drinks and kebabs. The young brothers create quite the team with mum working in the background creating the sauces and add ons. Be prepared to queue as mist lunchtimes and evenings this place is packed. Good quality and reasonable prices and a queue full of locals make for a fantastic take away.

Great food but always a long wait . Except to be waiting at least 15 mins. The lady is lovely but the two younger kids are very rude and chavy . They think they are funny but put some customers off and make you feel uncomfortable. But if you can get past all that the food is nice .

Frying is 1st class, staff are friendly and helpful, portions are ample. Fish coiled to order and you place orders by telephone and collect 20 minutes later with no queuing

Best chippy in the surrounding area! I live in Risca and travel here because the other 3 chippies in area are not a patch on this fish bar! They queue out the door, but it's worth the wait. They are organised and will cook your fish fresh to order, the staff are fun and friendly, enjoy a laugh. Also do pizza's and doner kebabs, both of which I've yet to taste, as the fish and chips are too good to miss. Parking can be difficult close by, but just down the road by Waunfawr Park, there's plenty of spaces and just a two minute walk. Better still, if the weather is fine eat your food at one of the sheltered picnic tables in the park.

The only place to go for fish and chips .... cooked freshly to order.White fish, crispy batter, best chips around and not skimped, sometimes can't eat them all. A little wait but well worth it.

Best Kebab shop for miles. I drive from Ebbw Vale to Crosskeys just for this Kebab. No fatty bits, large tray full of proper chicken and delish doner. Worth the time and effort every time 😁

Probably the best fish and chip shop I've ever used (and I'm a truck driver who's travelled all over the UK and Europe) everything is fresh and place is spotlessly clean. Prices are so low you wonder how they do it, one of the things everyone needs to try is the tandoori chicken kebab meat and chips. All i will say is the only reason I give it 5 star's is because you can't give more.,can say with hand on heart this is a must visit little gem.

Fab food. Best fish and chips around and the mild curry sauce is amazing. There is often a queue. But it's well worth the wait as the food is amazing. The staff are always happy to help.
