Went with friends on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is beautiful and welcoming. The food is absolutely fantastic. Really lovely menu both food and drinks. From wine to cocktails...Steak served on rocks to fish and pasta. Lovely comfortable chairs and a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

What a lovely place to go and have a meal, especially for an anniversary. If you like fish and/or pasta meals, this is the place for you. I had lamb shoulder in a wine sauce with seasoned vegetables. Delicious. Just a shame my potatoes were boiled and not sauteed. I don't like and can't eat boiled potatoes, even though well cooked, and others are sure to enjoy. My wife had a crab, smoked salmon and prawn spaghetti. Delicious. A little surprised that we were not offered a reduction in the bill because of only being given 2/3 of my expected meal (it's the imposter boiled potatoes that were not sauteed bright out and plus I cannot eat them this way), even though I thoroughly enjoyed what I ate. Would definitely return. Staff lovely and friendly. Would definitely come back again.

One of the few restaurant who was kind enough to cater to 14.5 filipinas (0.5 is the lovely little girl with us). They sat us together in one long table. The owner made our colleagues birthday memorable as he asked one of his staff members to sing. They played the happy birthday song inside the restaurant and everyone was surprised. Everyone (including other restaurant diners that night) sang along, clapped and wished our colleague Happy Birthday. Along with the merriment we also had delicious food and drinks served to our table. I had the seafood platter. The scallops were massive and succulent. The fish selection was amazin. All seemed very fresh. With all the seafood in the plate, drippings accumulated and there I was wishing they served it with a toast to mop up the juicy seafood goodness it gave away. 🤣

Wow! What a gem this place is. Me and my husband are holidaying and just stumbled apon this restaurant. The food was so delicious we ended up back there the next night. Best risotto I have ever had. My husband really enjoyed the cook at the table fillet steak! The meant so really soft and tender! Very formerly staff and the decor inside is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Wow, what great food and service here. The food was freshly made and perfectly cooked, there's nothing like perfectly cooked pasta! The desserts were 10/10 too. The servers were all friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience so will 100% be returning and would recommend this restaurant to all.

We had the chicken and ham pizza and the monkfish prawn stew. Both are absolutely divine. Service is impeccable. The fish stew came with monkfish, prawn mussels in a gorgeous tomato sauce. Truly delicious!

Excellent portion sizes and great quality food! We were just visiting the island for a night and glad we came across this gem. The staff were lovely and as soon as they were aware that we were there for a special birthday, they made sure that they went above and beyond to make it extra special. Thank you to the team ❤️

The Chef's special seafood platter was the most awesome meal I have ever eaten. I thought it couldn't be beaten, but I went back to try the stack cooked on volcanic rocks, but it was absolutely amazing. Nothing will be good enough now until I return to Da Vinci in Newport. Just to add to the experience, the service was freindly and attentive.

Stumbled upon this restaurant after a mistake with another restaurant over bank holiday scooter weekend and was able to cater for about 20 people at the drop of a hat. Superb service, delicious food. Would highly recommend if in Newport. We'll definitely be going for a meal there next year when we're there for the scooter rally, next time we'll phone and book here. A great friendly venue we have been here 3 times now the chefs food choices are superb especially the starters anti pasta/fresh fish dishes. Service is friendly and efficient and the wine/cocktails are good too. Best to book in advance for Saturday evenings.

This gem tucked away in Newport provides excellent food. A natty little device on the table makes it easy to call a server. Portions are generous and some might struggle with a main course after the starters so plan accordingly. The menu is good and that includes choices of dessert.

Dined here on Monday 8th August with two children and their grandparents. The service from Sara was excellent and the food quality including the homemade pasta was genuinely wonderful. Best meal out in a long time and I'd really recommend and revisit again.

Cannot rate the food here enough, every dish we ate was acceptional, fresh and mouth watering. The restaurant was extremely busy and service was lacking consitency. Over all it was a good experience by all.

It's Sunday night, staying at #oneholyrood hotel, it's dark, freezing and we didn't want to go far .... Da Vinci's was perfect. A delightful waitress, Wine at the perfect temperature, delicious Kleftico and tagliatelle de mare. Can't recommend more highly.

Visited for lunch. It is a lovely restaurant, sad that it was so quiet. Quiet being that we were the only ones in there! I had the pepperoni Pizza and, you can't go far wrong. Good pizza for a fair price. Service was good, lacked a little atmosphere due to it being completely empty.

A very nicely decorated restaurant with plenty of tables. We did think it was quite expensive in Isle of Wight terms and felt it lacked the niceties of some restaurants. For example it wasn't pointed out to us that there was a call bell on the table when we were ready to order - I know we should have spotted it but we were busy enjoying meeting up with each other. Our wine bottle was simply placed on the table without being opened or being given the opportunity to taste it. Usually in a fine dining restaurant a few mints or sweets come along with the bill - not really necessary I know but generally a nice touch.

Pro: Food good, service friendly, atmosphere good and cleanliness good. Con: Service charge added to all bills. I'd like a choice. This shouldn't be automatic. You've actually done yourself out of a bigger tip as a result. Summary: I would go again knowing I only need to leave less of a tip than I normally would. I think they need to rethink the service charge policy, my review would have been a solid 5 out of 5 otherwise.

Great food in a beautifully designed restaurant. Nice atmosphere and the waiter was spot on, helpful but not intrusive. Food was excellent. Newport has needed a decent restaurant of late as it has lost so many over the covid pandemic. This may become quite a habit.

We visited this place on 17th November for the first time and I'm so pleased we chose to eat there. The staff were all friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was very pleasant and the food was absolutely superb. There were 5 of us and all were super pleased with our dishes. The seafood was the best I've had and the puddings were just as good. We will definitely be back.

Garlic chicken pollo pasta wasn't good. Very bland. Duck was OK... £18.95 and sides are extra. Worth no more than £12.95 with sides IMO. Best taste we're cherry tomatoes. Service was good although no comment at all given back when mentioned the above to them when asked if everything was OK.

Isle of Wight is one of the most beautiful places to visit, but the best place in the UK to eat tasty is daVinci! friendly staff, great chef, everything thought out down to the smallest detail. a special place, where you will be treated beautifully, when you go to the island, you do not need food prepared in advance. here you can take food takeaway for excursions. great respect for those who put their soul into this wonderful place

Dined here last night ..party of 7...excellent food, excellent ambiance, excellent staff.. Only thing I would flag is that staff doo NOT get the 12.5% service charge added to your bill... so deduct it before you pay..it's optional...and leave cash tip on the table. Will definitely be back.

(Translated) A good restaurant with meat and scenography in the presentation of this very good dish. The only small flaw (if we can call it that) is not having a saucer near to deposit the meat that I didn't want to leave on the grill. Other than that everything was perfect (Original) Un buon ristorante con carne e scenografia nella presentazione di questo piatto molto buona. Unico, piccolo difetto (se così lo possiamo chiamare) è non aver avuto vicino un piattino dove depositare la carne che non volevo lasciare sulla griglia. A parte questo tutto perfetto
