Wow wow wow! This place lives up to the best curry in Wales and I can see why people rave about it. The food was impeccable, affordable and unbelievably tasty and the service was perfection. We loved the meal and the atmosphere. Only thing.. please put garlic and cheese naan on the menu 😉! Thank you - we can't wait to return!!

Friendly staff and food was delicious and cooked to order. Great flavours and everyone chose different dishes and each was great. Spices well balanced and as described on menus. Generous portions and good beer selection. Only thing would be to have waiters collecting empty glasses a bit more promptly but they were really courteous and friendly. Would go again

Sadly, as with everything else these days the prices have increased, around 50p to £1 per item. Unfortunately this means I won’t be getting a takeaway from here as often as I used to. A shame because the food here is very good.

It’s busy on a Saturday night esp for takeaways. We have been coming here for more than 20 years. The standards have always been high. The management treat regulars like family. It’s a great restaurant and a lovely location. Chicken tikka monipuri is our standout choice on the menu.

My husband and I came back here for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. It was the first place that we ever went for a meal together 16 years ago, so it was lovely to go back to celebrate a special occasion there. We are now living in West Wales and as always it was well worth the visit. The food was absolutely beautiful!

Had a family meal for my hubby 60th. 13 different orders given for food all came out at the same time fresh and hot. Staff are so friendly nothing is to much trouble they even decorated our table with 60 confetti. Very good value for money I think you may need to book your table though as we went on a Monday night and it was full as we left 3/4 hours later. Staff even had a lovely gift for hubby from them. 😍😍

Our new favourite spot Arrived with no reservation on a Wednesday evening at around 6.30. Party of three with one disabled were parked and seated with ease. Ordered 2 starters to share, three mains, sides and desserts with naan bread also and drinks. We found the menu well laid out, reasonably priced and food (most importantly) was gorgeous. The staff were lovely and friendly and had the perfect balance of touch points. Delighted with our meal of three courses plus drinks and sundries for around £75. You will not go home hungry. Good wholesome portions, simple but plentiful menu. Not cheap, bill came to £62 for three including drinks. Try the takeaway menu too its cheaper but they dont deliver. I'm a regular here but haven't been for several years, so great to see the the refurb, really classy inside. I can't see anyone being disappointed with their meal here, they're all delicious. Above average food with plenty of choice! Though I haven't eaten in there, I've been in many times collecting a take away. Very friendly and polite staff. Warm and open decore... Light and looks very comfortable! Always a great deal to choose from and a selection of drinks on tap it in bottle. Would recommend!

Could not fault the food. It was very good, however the service was very poor. It was slow and a smile would be nice from the older staff members. Having to pass drinks around the table and plates of food is not the way to serve customers. Leaning over customers without an excuse me is rude and also not acceptable.

Very slow/too busy. Phoned and ordered a takeaway meal, told to collect in over an hour because they were busy (fair enough), turned up to collect, waited for another 40 mins before order ready. The food was very good though.

We arrived at 7:50 a little late for our reservation, but a table was laid up for us quite quickly. The restaurant was very busy. We ordered the usual beers and popadoms. Later we ordered the mains. The food arrived later in two parts with the biriani and my Hari... Sizzling chicken dish last. All was good except for my dish - it wasn't sizzling, in fact it had dried out. All of the lovely flavours had been cooked out and the lime green pieces of chicken were dried out and hidden under huge onion skins! I think I'd give them a second chance but next time expect it to be sizzling!

I went to the monthly indian banquet and usually the restaurant is a favourite of mine. However I was extremely disappointed with the lack of vegetarian curries available, in fact there was not even 1 vegetable curry compared to 5 meat curries. I felt that it was unfair that I had to pay the same as non vegetarian eaters for this buffet. Also the poppadums were not included and had to pay extra for these. I would usually rate the restaurant at 4 to 5 star but due to this experience I feel utterly disappointed and won't be returning to the buffet night again.

I just think.maybe they are getting a bit too full of themselves. The Tandoori chicken was not cooked enough, still pink by the bone. Empty dishes meant I had to have alternative food to what I wanted which was not satisfactory. Meat dishes full of bone , lots of people waiting. Now next month they will introduce £3 extra if you stay over one and a half hours? Its not worth the £13 they charge now never mind £16! I've been looking for an excuse not to travel the 30 miles to this place to meet up with my friends once a month maybe this is it?

I needed to organise a huge take away order for a birthday celebration whilst we were staying in an area I didn't know well. We also needed to accommodate some dietary requirements as we had guests who are vegan and dairy free. A friend of a friend recommended Indian Empire and I emailed them to ask if they would be able to assist. Mr Uddin was extremely gracious and helpful and when we finally came to placing the order and he organised everything from putting the names on each box to correspond with which guest had ordered the dish to carrying the food to our car. The service from other staff whilst we were waiting to collect was fantastic, the menu was good value for money and when we finally got home to eat the food was delicious. The restaurant itsself has a car park which makes dining or food pick up easy.
