The chips were cooked to perfection , fluffy on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside.

S. D.I was parked up in Newport for the night in my truck and fancied something different from the normal micro meals so me and my mate who was parked in the same place popped in here for food. Without doubt the best fish and chips I have ever had, the fish was freshly cooked and the chips were cooked in beef dripping. Definitely worth the 5* rating and I will definitely be going back here when parked in Newport in the future 👍👍
D. R.Decent portion sizes, fish was freshly cooked but the chips were not overly hot and not the best either. Service has been good on the times we've used them. Not the best fish and chips I've ever eaten but by no means the worst either. Certainly will go again.
C. R.This is our first visit and we were in the area ( we live quite a distance) and our usual chip shop is so poor in comparison.
I wouldn't of bought chips if I realised that they are made using beef dripping but I'm glad that I didn't realise as the chips took me back to a time when chips from your local chip shop has a taste that was better than anything you could make at home and these are those chips.
Easily the best chips I have ever had and the owners and staff are really nice people, I just wish they were nearer and had a wider range as it's pretty much a basic chip shop but what a chip shop, incredibly good chips.

r. h.Tried their chips today on recommendation from a friend, lovely polite staff , loved the dog on his box btw . Have to say the chips were lovely , if I had to rate them out of ten I'd be inclined to give a 12 . Takes me back to my childhood eating at Arthur neils on church Road. You've gained a new customer .
