Excellent service has actually blown me away today! I walked in to a hello quickly followed by someone showing me to my seat, cleaned an already clean table & gave me helpful ordering advice 👍 didn’t expect this service in a mc Donald’s

Unfortunately whilst we were waiting for our food, in a packed out McDonald's, a fracas started between two woman which scared the living daylights out of my three granddaughters who were with me at the time. This happened within a couple of feet where we were waiting. The language was not only disgusting but it was also frightening as these two females both kept trying to get at each other. Thankfully staff handled it immediately, not only sorting these two out but standing in front of my grandchildren making sure they were protected. We received apologies from the staff and also the Manager, who came and checked we were OK personally. I give the staff at this McDonald's ten out of ten for getting things under control so quickly.

It's a McDonald's, gets very busy at lunch time. Needs more space for buggies and children. For nappy changing you have to ask for the radar key behind the counter as it's located in the disabled toilet. Otherwise, does what it says on the tin.

Misleading info about the monopoly game. Advertising 2 stickers with the mozzarella sharebox however none are actually given when ordered. I went up & asked about the game piece stickers but was just told 'maybe it's just certain items that do it' (even tho it is clearly stated on the board when ordering) staff did not seem to know exactly what items should or shouldn't have the monopoly game pieces on. This has happened a few times when I've received my medium or large fries & have had to go back up & ask for the stickers. Not sure if they are just being tight with them thinking people won't care but if you've been collecting them from the start then it can be frustrating.

I don't usually go to Mcdonald's - not really my thing. My wife and kids wanted to go and I set my expectations low. There are two McDonald's on the Isle of Wight and the other one (Ryde) was a hard pass from the reviews I'd read! However, I was pleasantly surprised at the Newport McDonald's. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The seating area and toilets were clean and hygienic. Tables were smooth to the touch - not sticky! We were given table service and the order was both 100% accurate and piping hot, arriving fairly quickly after ordering. If McDonald's is your thing, this restaurant was of a decent standard. Well done team!

Visited in December on a Saturday as we had arrived early by ferry and had not eaten. You can't go wrong with a mccies breakfast. The team there have adapted well to table service due to the current pandemic. Great staff at this location, very friendly and attentive!

A lady called Shirley from Nottingham, and another elderly chap from Bradford. I think all your other franchises could learn a thing or two about friendly bubbly customer service towards some soggy tourists dodging the rain

To start of with the place is always full what's a good thing because your food is always freshly cooked, the down side to that tho is that is always loud, sometimes they can get your meal wrong and other time you're forced to walk round the block to the park because you can get a seat. The food is want you expect nice but poorly made up. Overall I recommend long as your not expecting fine dining.

I have been to McDonald's in Newport IOW, many times but today was such a change in every way. The staff were helpfull, polite the eating area was clean. In fact everything was very good. Classical music? In a McDonald's? I loved it. The staff were very friendly and polite, actually proactively approaching people to ask how they could help. Someone was fastidiously cleaning the whole time we were there, and the staff seemed to be working as a team, rather than in benign isolation as is normally the case in other McDonald's I've visited in the past.

The staff are amazing, I've become a regular. The food is 95% of the time correct and nice. It has wireles charging or bring a charger and plug it in. The tablets they supply arent connected to the internet but they have games for the children. Disabled parking is here but only 2 spaces and a small area for M/C

Went for McDonalds brekkie with the family on Isle of Wight. Have to say, very impressed with the Covid distancing set up. Especially impressed with staff member Stella (I think that was her name. She has a tattoo on her forearm). She asked if our meal was Ok. I've never been asked if my Maccie D's is Ok in any restautant. Thought it was a really nice touch. I also watched her interact with other customers and was really impressed with her level of service and attentiveness. A real credit to the company. Keep it up Stella. 10 out of 10.

Very advanced Mc Donalds. It's always busy there which means the food is always fresh and hot. You can order yourself thanks to technology and just wait till they call your number or deliver it to your table! The food here is also extremely cheap and delicious! Due to it being right in the center of Newport next to the bus station you can't miss it either.

Conveniently placed in the centre of Newport, McDonald's is the typical franchise establishment. It does not have the self-service stations which are becoming popular, which can cause long queues at busy periods. Clean and tidy.

I feel sorry for the staff who work extremely hard cleaning the place, but also sent to clean the streets of Newport of whatever came from their shop. Beyond being hard-working, most are friendly and play a genuine social role in this specific McDonalds located near the Bus Station in the heart of Newport with dozens of youths who have nowhere to go but there or to loiter by the library. Therefore yes, we wait, the food isn't always as hot as we wish, ithe place can be noisy,the wait long, but the staff really go the extra mile dealing with a young generation abandoned by the local authorities, I seldom saw people being so serious in their task and they deserve to be commanded on their efforts to deal with all these youths.

However, I long for the day when all day breakfasts are served. Liking those ever changing burger specials too. Coffee still tastes like day old dish water and I don't think a chicken has been anywhere near a McNugget. McMuggets more like. Still, who doesn't like Macky D's. And a perfect location too.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give worker JACKIE TONGE a BIG praise.!!! she Deserves it As i am epileptic and today about 12ish lunchtime i had small siezure/absance and lost controll of my blader. Although seat wet she did everything she could to reasure me and stop me from being upset and even offered to take me somewhere quieter. When felt bit better she even offered to help me and my husband when we left !!!!!!! Manager please please give her the praise she deserves. I want everyone to know how grateful i am and i hope she does get the praise she deserves.If she doesnt it wont be fair or right
