My partner and I ordered from Mirchi for the first time tonight and we think we've found our new favourite Indian food place. Portions: 5/5 big Quality: 5/5 subtle, delicious, flavours and spicy means a good level of spice. Service: 5/5 ordered online but it arrived quickly and it was still very hot. Overall: will order again.

Ordered the Shobji Chilli Masala (Vegetable) yesterday evening with chips, vegetable rice and garlic & cheese naan. Came to £16 with my £2 student discount, the kind of price expected for a one person meal however I shared with my partner. Took about an hour to deliver on a Monday night, delivered by a very happy and friendly guy worthy of a tip. I have to say I didn’t have the highest expectations because of the low price and the fact I had never ordered a curry in Newport before. What I then went on to experience on my kitchen countertop can only be described as the best Indian I have ever had in my 21 years of life. I have never shed a tear over curry before but last night I came very close. The curry was rich & creamy with just the right amount of spice for me (medium), packed with beautiful flavours and very high quality, I could tell this curry was made with love and experience. The rice was vibrant and fresh with a good vegetable balance, contributing to a heavenly combination with the curry. Chips were standard chips, lovely curry dipping material - same goes for the naan. My order was packaged very well, keeping the food nice and hot from restaurant to my mouth. First time eating from here but can’t recommend enough. I will definitely be ordering again!!

fantastic food 1st time I've ordered from mirchi and was not disappointed, the chicken dhansak was beautiful and plentiful, rice was delicious bread and dips were stunning, cant recommend this place highly enough , also very smart and polite delivery driver was early, she even had gloves and a mask on , keep up the great standards guys 👌🙂
