Five stars doesn't do Novo justice. The restaurant has such a friendly and inviting atmosphere and all the staff are so nice and welcoming, Aly in particular made the night with the way she accommodated my mum's disabilities. The food is high quality, decently priced and incredibly generous in portions. Definitely need to come again

We were lucky enough to be invited in after turning up on opening night. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Novo has a great family run atmosphere. The food is all home made and very good indeed. We will definitely return and recommend to our friends.

Ordered 7 roasts from Novo a couple of weeks ago. A mix of veggie, gammon and 3 meat. All were steaming hot, well cooked and full of flavour. We all said it tasted like Christmas in October!

What an amazing restaurant!! Ordered a chicken thigh burger with avocado, chilli jam and vegan cheese, chunky chips, an Oreo vegan milkshake and a Long Island iced tea. WOW. Amazing value, tasted incredible and the next time I’m over on the IOW I will be coming here. 10/10!! Thank you! Photos don’t really do much justice!!

I really liked this place on my first visit. It is a great place for groups as the menu caters for varied tastes ranging from vegan, gluten- free to carnivore, all at a reasonable price. Nice selection of cocktails and mocktails too. Warm, casual ambience with very friendly, efficient staff. Conveniently located in central Newport I ordered the beetroot hummus (which was excellent) and the vegetarian burger (also good). I will definitely be back!

Exceptional restaurant in the heart of Newport. Service was excellent throughout, food is really tasty and prices are reasonable. Good atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff are really friendly. Good choice on the menu. Well worth a visit if you are in town!

Ordered via Ubereats - cool menu choices meat and vegan choices all modifiable YabadabAduki bean burger, mayo, chilli jam and cheese with chunky chips and salad Delivered quickly, food was still hot and really well made enjoyed everything especially honey mustard salad dressing Toasted bun would better to hold contents but professionally prepared and presented - well worth the price

Food is lovely, but a little bit expensive for what you get. For example if you order crumble etc anywhere else you would get the option to have it with custard or ice cream, neither of which come with desserts, you have to buy it separately, and the same with the main meals, I brought the macaroni cheese, and usually would come with salad or crusty bread if not both, from anywhere else, but again you have to buy it separately here. Food and cocktails are amazing though!

Absolutely amazing food! We ordered the beef roast dinner for me and my wife had the gluten free 1/4 roast chicken dinner. They were lovely, all good cooked exactly how we like it. Not one thing about it we didn’t enjoy! Also my wife had the gluten free white chocolate cheesecake and I had the Ferrero rocher waffles would recommend highly. We are stuffed. We definitely order again through Uber Eats. Arrived quicker than estimated too!

Ordered for delivery...lady on the phone seemed really lovely and cheerful. The food was still piping hot on delivery and its quite a distance from the restaurant! Chicken ..delicious..desserts...so glad we ordered these..anyone thinking of having the cheesecake..the biscoff was something else! We had our first meal from Novo last night as a delivery via UberEats. I cannot put into words just how amazing the food was! Totally blown away that a takeaway could taste so good! We had a three course meal each, all of it was simply perfect. Novo will certainly be our new takeaway treat from now on 👌 Also, the little images drawn on the packaging amused us 😁 👑

Ordering from the website is slightly confusing and requires a careful read, but once you've got to grips with the system it's fine. The food itself is lovely. The garlic bread is particularly nice and huge - one portion has three slices but they're each slice is so big that you could definitely share one portion amongst three people. I would also recommend the peri peri salted chips. Customer service is fantastic - I had accidentally messed up ordering on the website but received a phone call within two minutes to clarify everything. Delivery was in a very reasonable time.

Loved it ! Very good quality home cooked food. At very reasonable prices. Cheap even. Location - situated on a quiet part of the high street a short walk from numerous shops and bars. Staff - terrific waitress whom became a positive part of our evening (as a good waitress can). It turns out our waitress is mum to our chef. And the delivery driver was dad. This gave the whole experience a lovely homely feel. Overall - I look forward to my next visit. Just the kind of independent business that I like to support. 5 stars !!
