A. H.Good portions and reasonably priced.
The piece of fish was huge and the batter was lovely and crispy.
Couldn't finish the chips so will get a normal portion next time.
Didn't have to wait too long either and before I knew it, was falling asleep on the sofa

Portion sizes are embarrassingly small. Smallest I've seen of any chippy around the UK.
E. W.The chips are nice from here but waiting 15 minutes every time I go isn’t great. The staff didn’t seem to be helping each other in order to deal with long queues which makes it frustrating to watch. I also understand waiting outside is preferred due to covid (and I prefer this too) but standing out in the rain for this length of time isn’t ideal.

B.personally I think the Fish and chips here are great and I have used many times, the only thing that lets them down is the painfully slow service, there is zero multi tasking going on, it really is painful to watch, the sign at the counter says training new staff please be patient, I am all for that but this sign has been up months, how long can it take to train someone ?
Please get some kind of system going and help each other out.....
A. O.Good chips. Proper chip shop gravy. Overall really good but 1 star dropped for portion sizes. A large chips should be a large chips, not a poorly filled polystyrene tray.
C. L.I use another fish and chip shop i only walk past this one they do serve up nice fish pies chicken and chips pleasant behind the counter
D. R.First time we have bought chips from this establishment, normally use the other branch in the village but due to CoVid that one is closed. Anyway the chips were beautifully cooked and tasty well worth a treat back home with cold chicken and eggs.

A.Nice tasty chunky fish, batter nice & crispy but..... those chips, although a little tasty were under cooked, soggy & stuck to each other! I know potatoes are not very clever this time of year for chips but nice chippy ones are about, just need research! Will try the other fish n chip shop when next in Caldicot just to compare before trying Weeks again!
S. W.Old Pat behind the counter served me up a tremendous Quiche that I devoured within seconds.
After the large meal I realised I needed to release the food from my body out the other end, yet I could not leave the shop as something was dripping down my leg. Let's just say the deep fat fryer was put out of use for the rest of the day
