T.Reasonably priced and abdolultely spotless. What a change to find such a clean tidy friend cafe. Food was perfect had fish chips peas and cup tea. Who could want anything else. Loved it

D. D.Really friendly staff which makes a massive difference. Stopped off here after getting our shopping at Tesco. Portions weren't huge (which I guess I've become accustomed to at chippys nowadays where one portion can fill 2 people), but still a fair size.

Quite a bold statement I hear you say but they were hot, not greasy with a crispy outside and fluffy inside. If I had the room I would have eaten more. Nice work there!

J. B.I was pleasantly surprised by how good this place is. Food is cooked while you wait so don't expect to pop in and out when you're buying to eat now - I don't like chips that have been wrapped up and driven home.
I did eat in before the pandemic which is a great improvement over sitting in the car. Would have liked a few more chips...
Plenty of parking as it's in the Weston Favell Centre, although it can be tricky to park underneath if you've got anything bigger than a mini.

T. M. A.The food was reasonably priced. Chips were lovely and crispy but sadly the doner meat was cold. Staff were very polite and helpful and met needs as suit. Dining area was kept very clean and tidy. Toilet area was well kept and looked as though it was checked regularly. I am only giving a 3 star rating due to the cold doner meat otherwise it would be a 5* rating all round!

Some of the lads are lazy and don't care about the quality of the food there serving. I.E Cold reheated chips etc.
P. P.I always use this good place as the food isn't just fish n chips. You can get other things like kebabs, chicken, pissa and much more and if you don't feel like doing the washing up you can always eat in. Hot or cold drinks can be had when eating in. Also you don't have to go back into the centre for a toilet as the an adequate one in the shop that is always clean. The place is also good if you are disabled in any way as both the shop and toilet have good level access. What else can I say but give it a try the menu is varied priced well and as yet I have never had to complain about the food or the service.

A. W.Great place for good, basic food. Special deal for senior citizens any time...fish, chips, mushy peas or beans, tea or coffee and bread and butter for just under twelve pounds for two! Served at your table by the friendliest of staff. Very clean.

A. F.We quite often visit this fish and chip shop which also has seating. It's convenient for a meal before/after shopping and they ddo not seem to mind bags/shopping trolleys being taken in. The food is always well cooked and quickly prepared although the plaice fillets are often wafer thin. The cod is far more substantial and my partner assures me the mushy peas are good!!

On this occasision we ate in. I ordered a kebab with salad and a portion of onion rings. When the order came kebab was missing salad and no onions rings. When I queried this I was told bluntly and rudely that I did not order salad on the kebab and onion rings, which I did. Instead of resolving this small issue immediately a staff member proceeded to argue with me in front of other customers which I found demeanning and embarassing. If i hadn't of already paid, I would have walked out. the staff then grudgingly gave me some salad and my onion rings which I had to pay for.
This is a shame because the food really is spot on.
On a side note I had a takeaway kebab last night and on getting home found that there was no pitta bread.
