Visiting from Leicester, nice clean venue, excellent seating, clean washrooms. Good selection of food including starters and burgers. The chicken was perfect in flavour, very tasty. The burgers were amazing too, would highly recommend this place and will be back. Keep up the good work.

Excellent quality food and really friendly staff. The restaurant itself is lovely, bright and welcoming. I went with a party of 7 for lunch and we were all amazed with the food. We all ordered different things and absolutely no one was disappointed. You can tell that the food is really fresh and cooked so well. The peri peri chicken is by far the best in town! The lamb chops were delicious and the people who ate the burgers and wraps were raving about them as well. We shared a platter of grilled wings and strips and they were absolutely excellent as well. We have all just found our new favourite restaurant. Well Done Five Lads!!!

Brilliant eating out experience. Staff polite and prompt, even though it was very busy. Food was amazing. Tried the platter between 4 of us. More than enough. One of my sons changed his mind on his food order and staff were more than happy to accommodate. Would definitely recommend.

Came here with a friend as it had just recently opened in town. We decided to share a platter rather than buy 2 seperate meals as it would workout cheaper plus you get more food in the deal. The food took a while to come but this was ok as we built up an appetite. When it arrived I thought the first plate was all we were eating, but we got 2 of the same which was too much for 2 people to eat. We also ordered 3 sides which was 2 peri peri chips & coleslaw. The chicken was tasty and was coated in thick sauce, we asked for the spice on one chicken to be cooked medium and the other to be hot but both were served hot. Neither tasted hot, rather medium spice. There was a chilli sauce bottle on the table which wasn't hot in taste and seemed watered down but it was ok. I couldn't finish the large chicken pieces, I just managed the wings, chicken strips and one quarter chicken. Would I go back again? Yes I would as there is plenty of choice for chicken lovers like me. The food price isn't that cheap but then it is located in town so I suppose it is priced accordingly. The location is perfect after a night out in town.

This place is halal hmc certified although doesn't advertise it in the window. No alcohol served. There are milkshakes and mocktails and iced water on tap. Proper ketchup in a bottle on the table with chilli sauce and mayonnaise. The chicken was extremely tender, burgers are served in brioche buns. The chicken strips were smothered in lovely sauce. Staff were very accommodating to an allergy in our party and allowed a swap on the children's menu. Beef burger was flavoured like a kebab so probably recommend the chicken over the beef. Low on vegetarian options, but we weren't looking for that so it was fine for us. Toilets spacious and clean. Reasonably priced as well. Would highly recommend and we'll be back.

Very nice ambience, clean and tidy. Better than nando's taste. Drinks are very expensive compare to nando's £1.50 for a can of soft drink 330ml . Food is tasty so i don't mind paying extra. Owner and staff is very friendly.

Been coming here with my family since it opened in Northampton. Food is always on point and their platters are really tasty and spicy. The owner always looks after us and we went yesterday (17th May) when the lockdown restrictions were eased to be able to dine in. Recommend this if you’re looking for tasty food in a relaxed family friendly environment.

Other then accidentally overcharging me, was a great experience, training staff were friendly and apologetic for struggling to understand the till, food was quick and fresh. Honestly an all round great experience. Some of the best customer service I've experienced in the food industry.

Wish they had one in Southampton. Food was delicious, staff are great and accommodating, lovely manager who was out front getting involved which I always like to see. Would definitely recommend and look forward to our next stop there when we are in Northampton again! (Side note if you decide to add halloumi, like we did, you will not be disappointed! Really decent amount of halloumi left us very happy :))

Travelled all the way from coventry to try this place out as hubby has been going on about it for a while. Must say customer service was brilliant, very helpful staff and succulent food. Highly recommended!

Leather seats were wet and one of us sat on it and got our clothes soaked. We were also allocated to sit there. Couldn't explain why the seat was wet. Food was decent but nothing you can't find at Nandoes apart from the lamb burgers. Owner was slightly rude.

We ate here yesterday. There was 16 of us celebrating my birthday which wasn't a problem for them as we had the VIP area to ourselves. As upon entering the restaurant what a warm welcome by the manager and staff . Ordered our food which came out in good time. The food was piping hot and was so fresh. Cant fault at all. Nice food, the peri peri isn't quite as good as Nando's in my taste but it is reasonably priced and seems like a nice place to eat inside. I would recommend them to others. The portions are good and the chips are good quality. Good quality all around in my opinion.

I went to Five Lads and had a take out tonight this is probably one the first fast food place where they actually listen to your customised order and actually get everything right I can’t believe it I have no complaints all the staff was ever so friendly very nice and polite and it’s nice and clean inside they never forgot my sauces or my napkins I had salt and pepper nothing was missing from my order and the prices are reasonable there peronaise is amazing and I never even had to wait very long at all for my food and on top of that the food had a lot of flavours I had chicken in pitta the pitta bread was toasted just the way I like it ,it wasn’t to hard and wasn’t too soft either ,the chicken was delicious definitely finger licking flavours coming from everywhere it’s definitely a must go too again from me !
