Wasn't great. The food was fine, but getting the food kinda sucked. To start with, one of my friends had one of the kiosk machines fail to print their receipt, meaning they had to ask at the counter. When me and my friends were finally all waiting with our receipts, it took about 10 minutes for the first of our orders to come out, and an additional 20 minutes afterwards, where our orders progressively came out. At one point my order was showing on the screen as ready to connect, and then disappeared. It took another 5 minutes after it disappearing for my food to come out. In short, the food was fine, but it took a long time to come out.

Does as a normal McDonald's does but doesn't feel inviting or friendly. Packed out most days and always busy, and the seating areas are usually always closed off. I would go there for a quick meal but never my first choice.

Super busy, food is made fresh but by the time you receive it, it's cold. They are always short of takeaway bags. One of the Managers was quite rude when I asked for a handle takeaway bag. She didn't even care to pack it nicely. Would not recommend dining in with family, as the crowd is full of young youngsters which is at times quite disturbing.

Basically a standard McDonalds, so the value for money is good and the food quality is decent. They do have the touch pad order system so that helps the queue time. Plenty of seating as they have a downstairs seating area as well as some seating upstairs. In the middle of town so can get quite busy.

I went in to this town centre takeaway today, at a similar time to the McDonalds that I visited last week, and they could not have been more different. It was a lot busier, and they were preparing the food at a decent pace. It just goes to show, that with good management, you can make your business run properly.

I have worked for McDonald’s for over 3 years, since I was a kid I used to love their authentic food taste and the smell, I ate there 3 years everyday, I have never gained any weight..still size 8. I can tell you from my working experience that all food health and safety regulations are meet.

Quite fast service. Not much seating but managed to get a table for me and my 3 year old to sit down and eat to rest her little legs. Food was ok but maybe a little over cooked or precooked as it was a bit hard but what can you expect for the cheap pricing. Need more staff cleaning up as tables where dirty and full of litter. Judging by the recent reviews the place has gone downhill but I ordered from this place a few months back and I must say I was pleased with my purchases. The quality of the food ofcourse isn’t spectacular but it fills the belly for a cheaper price than a fancy place. This McDonald's is situated along the Drapery, and it's super convenient if you're visiting town. Obviously, because it's in the centre of town there is no drive through. The closest McDonald's with a drive through is the St. James retail park McDonald's. You no longer have to travel all the way to Sixfields! It's clean, modern and spacious. The staff here are always quick on their feet and queues never last long, even when it is very busy.

I love going to McDonald's. It's truly the best. I loved my food. As a person who loves chicken nuggets, I order 6 MCNuggets, a medium Oasis drink, medium fries, and some ketchup to go with the nuggets. You should try it! There's no picture taken, but it was amazing. If McDonald's UK is reading this, thank you for your effort.

Awesome place. Open till late and quite amicable staff. Right in the middle of town center and fast processing. You will have your order ready in no time. It helps to grab a parcel and run to bus station or train station as it is in walking distance from both places.

I really like the system for placing the orders with the screens that tell you when your order is ready. The only downside is the longer than usual wait for my food because I ordered a Vegetarian burger which always seems to take longer to prepare than other items. Which is invariably the case no matter which branch of McDonald's I've been to.

Staff vary in their friendliness. Despite opening 24 hours no seating available at 6.30 am when I finish work. Suffers from being sited next door to one and close to two other nightclubs, so not a pleasant place to be early on a Saturday or Sunday morning!

McDonalds is McDonalds, if you have been in one then you have been in them all, but thats ok you also know what your going to get, how much is going to cost, what it's going to taste like and pretty much how you will be treated which in a majority of cases is fine, my only gripe is that they label themselves as a restaurant which is a bit of a stretch! I did not give it for stars because at the end of the day if they want to be classed as a restaurant then they have to be judged against a restaurant and their seating is uncomfortable and the atmosphere is noisy.

Pretty average McDogfoods. Actually, it's a bit better than average. They were an early adopter of the new ordering system and seem to be getting the hang of it now. The service is still slower than it used to be but is improving!

Apple pie was cold when I got it, there was also no hot drinks being served, small drinks for the happy meals were also "unavailable". Come one maccies! You're one of the richest franchises can you not stock well enough?

Always use the self service screens, and never had to wait long for food. Even when busy. Floor plan is a bit weird, but if it's too busy, it's not much of an issue. Though I don't go regularly, never had any off putting issues, and will continue going when it takes my fancy.

Can't understand the bad reviews here as with any McDonald's you know what your going to get so if you don't like it stay away. Food here is okay and cheap and staff are the usual student types and they have plenty of healthy options now like salad, carrot sticks and orange juice so no complaints from me.

In Northampton close to bus station is located McDonald's in prime location. It's always crowded as they serve lots of varieties and yummy food. And order can be placed either using the e-board touch screen in entrance which can be customised and can make payment that gives paid coupon which displays token number on call of it can collect your food. Can dine in there or take away as well. The staffs are too cool. Food is amazing love it. Kids are welcomed. They provide high chair for kids. Wheel chair entry is allowed. All genre can enjoy food here.

Prices are quite affordable. Even though I'm not a big fan, the children enjoyed their meal. Northampton McDonald's is quite easy to find in the town centre, one inside the Grove nor shopping mall, and the other at the end of the pedestrian street near the main banks and the Market Square.
