A. K.We eat at Merlin's at least once a month and have the occasional takeaway.
The food is exceptional and well presented, however, the manager and staff hardly interact with their customers.
We never get greeted and only speak to the staff when ordering and asking for the bill.
Perhaps a little more customer interaction would improve our rating.

We are always made to feel welcome, the guys here are always brilliant, we always have a good laugh and make us feel welcome every time.
The food is always 100%, by far one of my favourite restaurants in Northampton.
My personal favourite dishes here are the chicken tikka malai massala, the tandoori mixed grill and the lamb Balti. The keema naan bread is always great too.
m. c.Highly recommend!!! I’ve tried a lot of the tandooris/curry houses in the area but in my opinion Merlins is probably the most authentic Indian restaurants in Northampton. Every dish tasted unique. The staff we’re very patient with me and super friendly. The owner came to our table and checked up on us too; nice chap.

Food was excellent, the flavour and spices in the Chicken Tandoori Rogan were delicious. The meat was about the most tender I have ever had and the sauce flavoursome and balanced.
Freshly made nan bread was the perfect accompaniment.
Not a single member of the group had a bad word to say about the variety of food they selected, which considering the varierty of dishes is testament to the quality of the food
The bill was extremely reasonable and the service was really good. The staff were the right balance of attentive whilst leaving us alone to get on with enjoying the meal.
Will definitely be going back and would 100% recommend.
j. f.Delicious Food, warm welcoming staff. We sometimes even drive all the way into town just to get take-away from this place. Access a bit tricky, they would benefit from sorting out a deal for their customers with one of the many local parking facilities. Other than that I highly recommend.
