Huge variety on the menu with each dish as tempting as the other, you could immediately tell the chef had carefully selected each ingredient that made up every dish. We ordered the meat platter, fillet mignon, wagyu sliders and tempura prawns. The food was cooked to perfection, meat was tender and full of flavour couldn't fault anything. The service provided throughout was also of an upmost standard. Would definitely recommend to all, a hidden gem.

I don’t usually write reviews but for this one I just had to! It was our first experience for a little birthday evening and I could not fault it. From the amazing food to the welcoming service! They had our table ready for us when we came in and they even helped us pick our drinks by giving us a sip of the ones we were interested in & to top it off, we were given dessert on the house at the end too which was unexpected and lovely of them! Although each and every one of the employees who were there made us feel equally welcoming, I’d like to applaud Shafeul (I think that’s how you spell it) especially who’s efforts did not go unnoticed and the hard work he put in to serving us as well as making our food behind the scenes- a man of many talents haha but thank you to everyone who made us feel welcome, will definitely visit again!

The food is always fantastic, the presentation is amazing and no matter what we order we are always delighted with the dishes! Staff are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in. The restaurant itself looks beautiful and always clean and well set up, the atmosphere is great. The food is mouth watering, my steak was cooked to perfection. The strawberry mojito tasted great. I would say this restaurant is the best in Northampton without a doubt.

So unfortunate but didn't have the best experience here. Came as a party of 3 by the recommendation of a friend who's heard excellent things about this place. Overall atmosphere and decor is lovely considering the very small space it's in. In terms of the food, there was a bit of a wait but I'll excuse it because it was a very busy Saturday night with larger parties. Just a shame that a lot of other people's food came out before ours but maybe there were some issues in the kitchen that we weren't aware of. The food itself I would say was the most disappointing of the night. My Portuguese salmon was barely seasoned with salt and pepper and the salad and peppers barely did anything to add to the flavour. My friend ordered coconut chicken curry and it was just about warm but cooled very quickly. Our loaded chips had no jalapeños, just some cheese and paprika but again, cooled very quickly and became too tough to chew. The mashed potato was just bad, I think even nando's is better. I will say, the younger waiter serving us was really lovely and did his absolute best to make us feel comfortable which is why I'm giving this place three stars for his service alone. He did a very good job of informing us what was available, and when we explained that we weren't happy with the food he immediately got his manager to sort us out. If you want pretty food "for the gram" like their drink menu states, then sure come down but personally I won't be visiting this place again.... A bit of a mistake (or moosteak) on our part

One of the best restaurants in Northampton, lovely décor and very cosy restaurant. The menu had a variety of options and a good selection of drinks. Really enjoyed the food and the steak was to perfection as we all are fussy eaters. The staff were really friendly and warming, we also were given a complementary drink which was lovely, will be returning soon.

WOW!! What a gem we have discovered ☺️ Visited this evening to celebrate a big Birthday. Moosteak went out of their way to make the evening special;from putting up decorations to creating & presenting us with a drink that was created just for us to serving dessert with a candle to the birthday boy. As for the food- dynamite prawns were so tasty, as were mixed meats. Steaks were cooked to perfection & the Brazilian coconut curry was amazing 😋😋 Service was personal & professional-this place surpassed all expectations & we will definitely be going back to taste the burgers :-) Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone - best place in Northampton

First time here tonight restaurant we were booked in at couldn’t fit two more in so at the last minute I looked on line and this restaurant popped up luckily they could fit us in at short notice. Well what can I say the service and food are outstanding we will definitely becoming here again. I had fillet and normally have mine medium to well done but they recommended medium and I can only say it melted in my mouth just perfect. Oh and the others said the same about their rib eye and sirloin ones (nephew said that’s the best tasting steak I’ve ever had) 😋There’s no rushing us very relaxed atmosphere has made for lovely family night out thank you to all the staff. . Best thing it’s only down the road from us now there’s a find😁

Best steak I've had in a long time. Unfortunately for us their ribeye had run out, but their sirloin and fillet mignon were lovely - great flavour and cooked perfectly. Really excited to go back to this place and try out more stuff - especially their burgers and non-alcoholic wine selection.

We booked for 8 people on a Saturday evening. We arrived on time and were promptly shown to our table by the friendly staff. We ordered some starters to share and it arrived not long after ordering,it was absolutely delicious and well presented. We took our own drinks but could not resist the alcohol free drinks to try,again they were perfect and tasty great for our celebration. We ordered our mains which were mostly steaks,all arrived in time with each and were perfectly cooked to perfection and our desired taste. The presentation was 100% and mine was delicious,others in the group were more than happy with their meals and each said it was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend visiting Moosteak. The food was plentiful and very well prepared and presented and tasted lovely,the service was great too,I can't fault it in anyway. We will be back. Thank you Moosteak for a truly great eating out experience.

I believe I have been quite loyal to Moosteak since day one. Burgers are amazing especially The Moo Burger. Tried with black and normal brioche bun, no where can beat. You actually taste the beef that's what I liked the most. Kentucky Kid is also very good if chicken preferred. Mixed grill was very tasty slightly different to other places more spice flavoured. Overall, never had an issue amazing management. Looking forward to experience to eat inside.

Amazing service and hospitality! Very accomodating. Shafu and Saf were so welcoming and left no stone underturned! Not only was the atmosphere and service exemplary but the food was perfection! An outstanding place to have steaks and burgers. My friend and I been there in May 2021 for first time to try their steaks as it was newly opened. Believe me, it was an outstanding visit for us. The atmosphere and the service was fantastic. The food was something more then I expected. The steak 🥩 was cooked Perfectly 👌🏿 , not well done but medium what made them more juicy and flavoursome.Will definitely be back again. Keep it up!! 🍔🍟

First time trying Wagyu steak - I can definitely say that if hit the highest when it comes to taste, mouthwatering cooked to perfection. Wagyu being one of the most expensive cuts out there, I can say for certain that I am no expert…. However I’ll probably never taste something that good for a very long time - so good, made me forget the price ha! It varies in price but it’s always worth to ask, and I’m glad I did…. Absolutely 0 regrets The guy came out before cooking to show the price of meat I would have been eating and showed ‘ordinary’ cuts as comparison - and it’s clear as day when it’s come to the difference In quality. After the meal he came out to talk to us and explained his marketing operations, because it’s one of the few places where you can bring your own drinks! Not many places do that which is very handy considering the profit they turn in if let’s say a large table orders the same dish. All and all - I recommend this place as somewhere special - as the variety offered is substantial, from steaks, burgers, fish, curry, even lobster. Defo coming again !

Yesterday was our first time at Moosteaks. On arrival we received a warm welcome, the night was cold outside, inside just the right temperature. The Staff took us through the menu explaining the cooking process. On some dishs they have non alcohol drinks to enhance the dish. Very pleased with service we received. Food quality was exceptional.

amazing food experience today! We loved the service, decor and especially the food! We ordered the hot wings, moo burger, del boy burger, loaded fries and the funky drinks with the bubbles! Everything was delicious! The hot wings were so tender and yummy, I can’t believe how nice it was. I loved my moo burger which was spicy, flavoursome, the beef was juicy. My wife loved her burger even thought# it was two patties, it wasn’t too much. The chips were fresh and tasted like fish and chips ones! The drinks with the bubbles are nice to show for my insta and the drinks were good themselves. Overall 10/10, just no faults at all.

Fantastic food, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, comfy seating. When there was a delay with the food, we were given an apology and appetiser on the house without prompting. Steak was good so can't complain on that front. Restaurant wasn't full and they didn't have enough wine glasses for the table. You pay for the steak but the chips were out the bag tastless and undercooked. Staff were nice and had a decent experience.

Visited on 17/02/22. Table for 2, booked for 7pm. The wagyu beef sliders and the fillet mignon, were both incredible, absolutely delicious and I would wholeheartedly recommend those items, but my main reason for leaving a review is because of the waiter, even though it was a packed sitting, he literally could not have been more helpful, polite, attentive, and professional. He provided an outstanding level of service, and is an absolute credit to this restaurant.

What a lovely experience for our family get together. Really friendly, and the food, and how it was presented was a 10 out of 10. Would definitely recommend (you will need to find street parking) and for any alcohol you will need to BYO - at no extra charge.

Recommend trying this place- The mixed grill was cooked really well, tender lamb chops-I feel they are trying to celebrate the meat as opposed to overload with flavours and spices. The accompanying dips are very tasty. The kentucky kid burger was really nice and tasty. I felt let down by the chips-I like them crispy with a nice fluffy potato content. I am interested in trying out the rest of the menu. Overall I appreciate the presence of this place in Northampton-they are trying new and interesting things out. I hope they will continue to develop and respond to feedback so the end product lives up to the price tag, as at the moment I am not wholly convinced....the efforts of the management and the nice packaging touches they add tells me that their passion might just get them there one day.

Had the pleasure of being served by one of the partners (Shaful?). We were waited on hand and foot. I opted for the Del Boy burger whilst everyone elese had a steak of sorts. It was simply the BEST burger I have ever had! Everything was perfect; presentation, flavours and portion sizes. Do NOT hesitate to try this place!

Burger was subpar, especially for near £15. Chips arrived cold and were poor too. Not like how the menu showed. Grill was however good would be 4.5 stars if the burger lived up to it. Amazingly creative Mocktails at a decent price with a long list of beverage options. I went all out and ordered Wagyu steak and it was cooked to perfection! I have been to many steakhouse's around london. this has served the best steak and has well earned its reputation. i have nothing but complements for the food. The staff are attentive and lovely. I would recommend.
